Old Amber

Undo revision 2841222 by SilverTheGamer (talk) I highly doubt it, especially with the other theory.

==Trivia==
*{{wp|Amber}} is fossilized tree resin commonly found with insects trapped inside of it. The Old Amber is based on the theory of extracting DNA from the blood still preserved inside the insect to bring back past lifeforms. In real life, however, amber cannot preserve DNA. It may also be a reference to Jurassic Park, as in it, mosquitos trapped in ambers are used to revive dinosaurs, and Aerodactyl is based to a Pterodactyl, also a dinosaur.
* It is the only Pokémon Fossil that does not have an alternative choice to form a pair.
* The mosquito seen in the first generation artwork is a rare case of a [[Animals in the Pokémon world|real life animal]] in the Pokémon world.
