Although I find such trivia unnecessary in general, I do believe what's being pointed out is that XY are insofar the only games not followed by solitary versions (Gens I-IV) or same-generation sequels (Gen V). Are you suggesting that RS were not followed by a solitary version (Emerald)? FRLG's release date is not what's being discussed here as no one is implying that Emerald came out ''directly'' after RS.
