Sleep Charm (Japanese: ねむらせる Make Sleep) is a skill in Pokémon Shuffle.
Activation
Certain types are immune to sleep. Immunities are indicated by X's in the chart below:
| Status condition effectiveness | ||||||||||||||||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Condition | Defender's type | |||||||||||||||||
| Normal | Fighting | Flying | Poison | Ground | Rock | Bug | Ghost | Steel | Fire | Water | Grass | Electric | Psychic | Ice | Dragon | Dark | Fairy | |
| Asleep | ✘ | ✘ | ✘ | ✘ | ✘ | ✘ | ✘ | ✘ | ||||||||||
If a Pokémon is immune to sleep, or already has any status condition, then this skill will not activate.
Effect

When activated, this skill inflicts sleep for 3 moves.
A sleeping Pokémon cannot use any disruptions, its disruption countdown is paused, and it will take ×1.2 damage.
- The triggering hit does not benefit from this ×1.2 damage, but subsequent hits in its combo will benefit.
Other damage multipliers, such as those based on match size, combo count, type matchups, and other skill effects such as Typeless Combo, are applied as usual. See Pokémon Shuffle → Damage for more details.
Note that a foe's current status condition will tick down its duration after a move is made, but before the second hit onwards of the move's resulting combo. This can result in the status effect being active for the first match of the combo, but being inactive for the subsequent matches in the same combo.
Skill level growth
Increasing skill level will increase the activation rate.

Trivia
- Darkrai having Sleep Charm may be a reference to its signature move Dark Void, and its association with nightmares.
- In any context where Igglybuff would deal super effective damage, it cannot also inflict Sleep Charm, as all types that Fairy is super effective against ( Fighting , Dragon , and Dark ) are immune to sleep.
