Ryū Matsushima

Ryū Matsushima (Japanese: 松(まつ)島(しま)リュウ) is the creator of several Pokémon manga from Japan and was born on January 4 in the Tochigi Prefecture. He also goes by the alias Chutaro (Japanese: ちゅうたろう). Matsushima is affiliated with CoroCoro, publishing many works in the CoroCoro magazines. Matsushima debuted when publishing Pokémon Diamond/Pearl 4-koma Theater and his first book publication was the manga Pocket Monsters Platinum: Aim to Be Battle King!!.
