Mind Brace (Japanese: 攻撃時特防アップ Special Defense Boost When Attacking) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the Pokémon successfully lands an attack on the target, it has a chance of increasing the user's Sp. Def by one stat rank. The skill can range from Mind Brace 1 to Mind Brace 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of increasing the user's Sp. Def. Mind Brace 9 will always increase the user's Sp. Def. Currently, only Mind Brace 4 is available on scoutable sync pairs. The skill applies to the Pokémon's usual attack moves, including 
buddy moves, but not sync moves or 
max moves.
