The Jaw Fossil (Japanese: アゴのカセキ Jaw Fossil) and the Sail Fossil (Japanese: ヒレのカセキ Fin Fossil) are Fossils which can be regenerated into Tyrunt and Amaura, respectively.

In the games

In X and Y, the Jaw and Sail Fossils are found in Glittering Cave, where the player can choose which of the two Fossils they would like to take after defeating Team Flare in the cave. The Fossil not chosen is given to Serena*/Calem*.

The Fossils can be revived in the Fossil Lab in Ambrette Town.

The Jaw and Sail Fossils are the only fossils not obtainable in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, but it is possible to have another Pokémon hold the fossil when traded from X and Y to Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. There, they can be brought to the Devon Corporation in Rustboro City to regenerate them into Tyrunt and Amaura.

In Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, they can be bought one time only from Olivia's jewelry shop in Konikoni City, with the Jaw Fossil only available in Ultra Sun and the Sail Fossil only available in Ultra Moon. However, they can also be obtained from Isle Aphun at Poké Pelago regardless of version. By conducting a Rare Treasure-Hunting expedition (or an Interesting Item-Hunting expedition once the island has reached Development Level 3), the Jaw or Sail Fossil have a very rare chance of being obtained.
