Release information
This card was included in the Sun & Moon expansion with artwork by Mizue, first released in the Japanese Collection Moon and Sun & Moon Starter Set. A SM Black Star Promotional print of this card was one of the Prerelease promos for Sun & Moon with different artwork by the same artist, available in the Sun & Moon Prerelease Kit. A print with a gold foil "Staff" stamp was given to those overseeing the event. In Japan, this print was released as one of the SM-P Promotional cards, available as part of a nine card promotional pack awarded to those who participated in the Pokémon Card Gym tournaments from the month of February 2017 through the month of April 2017. This card features the Card Gym logo.
The Sun & Moon print was later reprinted in the Japanese Water Lapras-GX Deck.
