Admin
- This article is about the in-game term "Admin". For a list of Bulbapedia Administrators, see Bulbapedia:Administrators.
An Admin (Japanese: かんぶ Executive) is a high-ranking member of a villainous team who typically commands Grunts to carry out the organization's operations. In the English localization, the term "Commander" is instead used for the leaders of Team Galactic.
Admins are typically named characters with unique designs, unlike Grunts, though there are some exceptions. In Generation II, the Admins of Team Rocket are named "Executive", with the Trainer class "Rocket", and have generic male and female variants. In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, the Admins of Team Rocket are named "Admin", with the Trainer class "Team Rocket", and use the male and female Grunt sprites. In Generation VI, the Admins of Team Flare simply have the Trainer class "Team Flare Admin", with no given name, and have generic designs for male and female Admins.
Admins of each villainous team include:
- Executives or Team Rocket Admins, who work for Team Rocket, introduced in Generation I.
- In Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, the Executives are Archer, Ariana, Petrel, and Proton. Archer returns in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! as a Team Rocket Admin.
- In the Pokémon Adventures manga, Carl and Sham appear to be based on the male and female Rocket Executives from Generation II, respectively.
- In the Pokémon Gold & Silver: The Golden Boys manga, Grey is a Rocket Executive.
- Magma Admins, who work for Team Magma, introduced in Generation III.
