Zook is a character that appears in Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness. He is the only character in the games to be known as a Thug. He works for Cipher. He is seen at Gateon Port and the Cipher Key Lair. He had a Shadow Zangoose that he threatened Jovi with at Gateon Port after she accidentally bumped into him. However, Ardos stepped in and defeated it with his Alakazam. Later, Michael defeated him at the Cipher Key Lair. After recovering his Snag Machine, Michael challenged him again and snagged his Zangoose. Trivia

  • The gender of Zook's shadow Zangoose is not set in stone until it is sent out against the player at the Cipher Key Lair. Due to appearing twice before such a point, this particular Zangoose can potentially change its gender up to two times over the course of events. Such an example consists of Zangoose being female when facing Ardos at Gateon Port, male when facing Wakin at Cipher Key Lair, and female again when facing the player at Cipher Key Lair.
