A Performance Pop Quiz! (Japanese: ハッピーダンスはクイズのあとで！？トライポカロン・ヒャッコク大会！！ The Happy Dance Comes After the Quiz!? The Hyakkoku TriPokalon Tournament!!) is the 90th episode of the XY series, and the 889th episode of the Pokémon anime. It first aired in Japan on October 8, 2015, in Canada on November 28, 2015, and in the United States on December 5, 2015.

Blurb

Serena steps into the spotlight in the Anistar City Pokémon Showcase! She has her work cut out for her against her friends Shauna and Nini, plus a disguised Jessie. Everything is going well until Serena’s Eevee runs away, startled by the sounds of fireworks! Can she find her frightened Pokémon before she has to take the stage?

Plot

• Serena meets up with Nini again.
• Serena, Jessie, Shauna, and Nini compete in the Anistar Showcase and Serena wins, earning her second Princess Key.
• Shauna is revealed to have earned her second Princess Key.
• Shauna and Tierno part ways with Ash and his friends, and return to Trevor.

• Serena, Ash, and Sheryl narrate the preview of the next episode.
• Serena and Braixen wear the same outfits they wore in the Coumarine Showcase. However, Serena's dress was upgraded to have longer collar.
• Serena's Braixen and Pancham remain outside of their Poké Balls throughout the episode.
• This is the first time that the Pokémon Quiz uses a Pokémon that appears in clothing accessory. In this case, Serena's Pancham was featured in this quiz, even though Pancham was already featured in The Bamboozling Forest!, 78 episodes ago.
  • The quiz also featured Serena's Braixen wearing its aforementioned outfit, as well as Serena's Eevee wearing the flower crown it was given in its debut episode.
