This book provides the methods, tip and techniques to draw the Generation II Pokémon.

For each Pokémon, three steps are illustrated and explained to help the reader draw the character. The first step shows the basic steps needed to draw the Pokémon, and also labels the order that the various lines and shapes need to be drawn in. The second step shows how to add some details to the Pokémon. The final step shows the finishing touches the reader needs to make to their drawing in order to have the completed character. And if a reader has too many problems drawing the character correctly, they can trace the drawing of the Pokémon that shows up in the third step. The last page of the book encourages the reader to keep practicing.
