Wonder Orbs (Japanese: ふしぎだま Wonder Orb) are magical items in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon and its sequel, that have a variety of effects. However, they cannot be used in boss battles or against other rescue teams, and certain ones cannot be used against Kecleon if the player has robbed a Kecleon Shop. All are worth 300 Poké and sold for 150 Poké in the first series. In its sequel, Wonder Orbs are worth 150 Poké and sold for 30 Poké, unless otherwise notified.

All-Hit Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: User and team go into a Focus Energy status for a short time, raising the critical hit ratio.
  • Range: All team members in room

All-Mach Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Ups Movement Speed of all team members by one level
  • Range: All team members in room

Blowback Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Knocks a distant target flying. If the target hits a wall or another Pokémon, it sustains damage.
  • Range: Straight Line

Cleanse Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Sticky, gummed-up items are cleansed of grime, making them usable again
  • Range: User

Decoy Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Changes the status of the target to Decoy, making it the target of fellow Pokémon.
  • Range: Foe in Front

Drought Orb

  • Japanese: ひでりだま Drought Orb
  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Drains water and magma from the dungeon floor.
  • Range: The entire floor

Escape Orb

  • Japanese: あなぬけのたま Escape Orb
  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Allows the rescue team to escape from the dungeon. Has no effect if used after stealing from a Kecleon.
  • Range: All team members on the floor

Evasion Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: An item that raises the user's Evasion by one level.
  • Range: User

Fill-In Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Turns a water or magma tile into a land tile.
  • Range: Tile in front

Foe-Fear Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Changes the status of foes in the room to Terrified, making them run away from the user.
  • Range: Foes in room

Foe-Hold Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Changes the status of foes on the floor to Petrified, making them incapable of moving until attacked.
  • Range: Foes on floor
  • Note: Found only in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time

Foe-Seal Orb

Hail Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Causes the weather to change to Hail.
  • Range: All Pokémon on floor

Hurl Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Hurls the target at another foe to inflict damage.
  • Range: Foe in front

Invisify Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Turns the user invisible for a set period of time.
  • Range: User

Itemizer Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Turns the foe into a randomly chosen item.
  • Range: Foe in front

Lob Orb

  • Where to find: Dungeons.
  • Use: Inflicts damage on the target up to 2 tiles away
  • Range: 2 tiles

Longtoss Orb

  • Where to find: Dungeons (eg. in Buried Relic)
  • Use: Changes the user's status to Long Toss. Items thrown by the user will fly until they hit a wall or Pokémon.
  • Range: User

Luminous Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Reveals the entire floor to the user, including foes, items, and the stairs. Will not reveal the locations of traps.
  • Range: User

Mobile Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Changes user status to Mobile, enabling movement and attacking through walls, and on lava, water, and clouds.
  • Range: User

Mug Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Inflicts damage on target and steals the target's item, if any. The item can only be stolen if the user is not holding an item themselves.
  • Range: Foe in front

One-Room Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Tears down all walls on the floor, turning it into a vast, open room. This also triggers any monster houses on the floor.
  • Range: Special

One-Shot Orb

  • Where to find: Purity Forest, Joyous Tower.
  • Use: Instantly defeats the target- assuming it hits.
  • Range: Foe in front

Petrify Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Changes the status of foes in the room to Petrified, making them incapable of action.
  • Range: Foes in room

Pierce Orb

  • Where to find: ???
  • Use: Changes the user's status to Pierce. Items thrown by the user will fly through walls and Pokémon without stopping.
  • Range: User

Possess Orb

  • Where to find: ???
  • Use: A leader's hold item that enables the leader to possess a friend and survive. It only works for the team leader.

Pounce Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Makes the user pounce on the Pokémon in front, however distant. If no Pokémon is in the way the user leaps to the wall.
  • Range: Special

Quick Orb

  • Where to find: ???
  • Use: Boosts the Movement Speed of the user and team members in the room by one level.
  • Range: All team members in room.

Radar Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Reveals the location of all foes on the floor.
  • Range: User

Rainy Orb

  • Japanese: あめだま Rain Orb
  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Changes weather conditions to Rain.
  • Range: Special

Rebound Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: changes status to Mini Counter, which counters ¼ of any Physical or regular attack.
  • Range: User

Reviver Orb

  • Where to find: ???
  • Use: A hold item that revives Pokémon if it faints. It does not work if the holder faints from an explosion.
  • Range: Holder

Rocky Orb

  • Japanese: がんせきだま Rock Orb
  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Price: 500 Poké
  • Sell Price: 250 Poké
  • Use: Inflicts damage on target and lowers its Movement Speed by one level.
  • Range: Foe in front

Rollcall Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Draws all team members to the user.
  • Range: All team members on floor

Sandy Orb

  • Japanese: すなのたま Sandy Orb
  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Changes the weather to Sandstorm.
  • Range: Special

Scanner Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Reveals the location of all unclaimed items on the floor.
  • Range: User

See-Trap Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Reveals all hidden traps in the room.
  • Range: User

Shocker Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Inflicts the target with a Cowering condition.
  • Range: Foe in front

Silence Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Affects target with a Muzzled status condition.
  • Range: Enemy in line of sight

Sizebust Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Deals damage depending on the Pokémon's body size (one to four).
  • Range: Foe in front

Slow Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Lowers the Movement Speed by one level.
  • Range: Foes in room

Slumber Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Changes the status of foes in the same room to Sleep, making them incapable of action.
  • Range: Foes in room

Snatch Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Gives the user the Snatch condition, which is similar to the move Snatch.
  • Range: User

Stairs Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Causes the location of the stairs to appear on the map of the dungeon.
  • Range: User

Stayaway Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Petrifies a target and sends it to the floor's stairway.
  • Range: Foe in front

Spurn Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Warps all foes to another place on the floor.
  • Range: Foes on floor

Sunny Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons, Kecleon Shop
  • Use: Changes weather condition to Sunny
  • Range: Floor

Switcher Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Switches the user's position with another Pokémon, however distant.
  • Range: Straight line

Toss Orb

  • Where to find: ???
  • Use: Enables the Pokémon to throw items.

Totter Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Confuses foes.
  • Range: Foes in room

Transfer Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Transforms the target into a different Pokémon found on the same floor.
  • Range: Foe in front

Trapbust Orb

  • Japanese: わなこわしだま Trapbust Orb
  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Destroys traps in the same room.
  • Range: Room

Trapper Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Sets a randomly determined trap on the user's tile.
  • Range: User

Trawl Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Draws all items to the user.
  • Note: If this item is used on a floor with a Kecleon Shop, the Kecleon will see it as a theft attempt, call other Kecleon, and attack.
  • Range: All items on floor

Two-Edge Orb

  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: All enemies' HP are cut to 1. For every enemy affected, however, the user's HP is halved.
  • Range: Foes in room

Warp Orb

  • Japanese: ワープだま Warp Orb
  • Where to find: Various dungeons
  • Use: Warps foes in the same room to other places on the same floor.
  • Range: Foes in room
