This card was released as one of two promotional cards, alongside Pikachu, available in the HeartGold & SoulSilver Three Pack Blisters. In Japan, it was released as one of the L-P Promotional cards and awarded to those who participated in the Challenge Hiroba tournaments held in November 2009.
