Wings Alexander (Japanese: ハヤブサ Hayabusa) is a character of the day in the anime who appeared in Throwing in the Noctowl. His Japanese voice actor is 茶風林 Chafurin and his English voice actor is Jimmy Zoppi.

Wings Alexander lives in the Whirl Islands, where he runs an airport. It was through that airport he met Ash and his friends. They had missed the ferry to the mainland, and Wings offered to fly them in his plane.

Young Wings Alexander

While helping Wings clean out his hangar, which also served as a home for his Pokémon, the kids learned that he used to be a Pokémon Trainer. His strongest Pokémon was a Hoothoot, which defeated many opponents including a Machoke and Onix. Years later, it evolved into a Noctowl. It now serves as Wings's 'co-pilot', always sitting in the cockpit while Wings is flying.

When Wings was flying the kids to Olivine City, a severe thunderstorm hit, causing the old plane to fall apart. Thanks to Ash, Misty, Brock and their Pokémon, as well as Wings's Noctowl, the plane made it successfully to Olivine City. He was also rather kind as he decided to help Team Rocket when their balloon was caught in a storm.

Pokémon

This is a listing of Wings's known Pokémon in the anime:

Wings Alexander's Noctowl
Noctowl
Noctowl is Wing Alexander's strongest Pokémon, he has had it since it was a Hoothoot and in that time it has evolved. It is distinctive to other Noctowl by a small beard it has. It first appeared when it was sleeping the the co-pilots seat where it serves as the co pilot. When Ash and his friends boarded the plane a massive storm was causing difficulty. Just before the plane was about to crash into the ocean, Noctowl woke up. They attached it to a rope along with Ash's Noctowl and successfully brought the group to Olivine City.

None of its moves are known.
