Flavor text Generation IX Boosts the Pokémon's Attack stat if Tailwind takes effect or if the Pokémon is hit by a wind move. The Pokémon also takes no damage from wind moves.

Wind Rider (Japanese: かぜのり Wind Riding) is an Ability introduced in Generation IX. It is the signature Ability of Bramblin and Brambleghast.

Effect

In battle

When a Pokémon with Wind Rider is hit by a wind move or when Tailwind takes effect, its Attack is increased by one stage, and the move will have no effect on that Pokémon.

Outside of battle

Wind Rider has no effect outside of battle.
