Wind Power (Japanese: ふうりょくでんき Wind-Powered Electricity) is an Ability introduced in Generation IX. It is the signature Ability of Wattrel's evolutionary line.
Effect
In battle
When a Pokémon with Wind Power is hit by a wind move or when Tailwind takes effect, it becomes charged, boosting the power of the next Electric-type move it uses.
When this Ability is triggered, the message "Being hit by <move> charged <name> with power!" is displayed, even if it causes the Pokémon with Wind Power to faint. If the opposing wind move causes the Pokémon to faint, Wind Power displays the message before the Pokémon faints.
Outside of battle
Wind Power has no effect outside of battle.
