The Wayward Cave (Japanese: まよいのどうくつ Lost Cave) is a two-story cave in Sinnoh. Flash and Rock Smash are needed to navigate it, but the cave itself is optional. There is a side quest inside the cave where the player can join a trainer named Mira and lead her out of the cave. That task is more difficult than it sounds, because most of the cave looks similar to other parts of the cave. It is located on Route 206, beneath Cycling Road. There is also an entrance directly under the cave, one that cannot be seen, which is the only area where wild Gible can be found, much like the upper area of Meteor Falls in Hoenn, where Bagon was found.
The hidden entrance is down and to the left of the main cave entrance, and is hidden underneath the cycling path. Simply press up at intervals while under the bridge to find the entrance. In the hidden area, TM26 (Earthquake), a Grip Claw, a Revive, and an Elixir can be found.
