The Water Gem (Japanese: みずのジュエル Water Jewel) is a type of held item introduced in Generation V. It is one of the Gems and is an unobtainable held item in Generation VI onwards.

It increases the power of the holder's first Water-type move by 50%, and is consumed after use.
Fling will fail if the user is holding a Water Gem. Water Pledge will never consume a Water Gem.

It increases the power of the holder's first Water-type move by 30%, and is consumed after use.
