Watchtower Ruins (Japanese: 見張り塔跡地 Watchtower Ruins) is a part of the Wild Area in the Galar region, located in the northwest of the southern portion of the Wild Area. It connects to Dappled Grove to its south and West Lake Axewell to its east.
Watchtower Ruins forms a bluff overlooking the northwest part of Lake Axewell. The land starts low at its southwesterly corner, near the waterline. A Pokémon Den is framed by two fields of grass near the shoreline.
Northward, the land rises to the ruins of a circular tower. The lower part of the tower stands largely intact, but with many holes in the wall and cracks in the stone. An entire portion of wall, presumably from a higher part of the tower, leans against one side of the ruins. A large field of grass surrounds the tower. A Berry tree grows on the west side, while a den lies to the north.
Watchtower Ruins meets West Lake Axewell in an irregular border that starts near the den on the north side, but bends east to follow a branch of the field of grass from around the tower.
Unless otherwise stated, hidden items in the Wild Area regenerate every day. In many of these cases, they can also regenerate as different items.
Every item that regenerates every day can also rarely regenerate as a Wishing Piece (at approximately a 1% chance).
Shaking a Berry tree can yield Berries, but a Pokémon may be shaken loose instead and steal some of the Berries after a battle.
After the player starts the Darkest Day or has captured Eternatus, all Pokémon in the Wild Area become level 60 (unless they are already at or above level 60).
These wanderers respawn daily.
