Volt (Japanese: ボルト Volt) is a character of the day who appeared in That's Just Swellow.
Volt was a competitor in the annual Crossgate PokéRinger tournament. He had a massive ego, due to the fact that in the previous year's competition, he won, despite being a first time competitor. However, Ash was confident in his ability to defeat Volt.
The two faced each other in the first round of competition. Volt used his Volbeat's Thunder to quickly take care of a Ninjask and Golbat in the competition, but Ash remained calm.
