Vincent's Meganium (Japanese: ジュンイチのメガニウム Jun'ichi's Meganium) was Vincent's starter Pokémon.

As a Chikorita

In a flashback of the special's Japanese theme sequence A New Oath, Vincent obtained Meganium as a Chikorita on the same day that Jimmy got his Typhlosion and Marina got her Totodile. It had already fully evolved by the time The Legend of Thunder! aired.

Vincent and his Meganium

Meganium saves Jimmy and Marina by using a SolarBeam on a big rock coming from Steelix's Rock Throw that was heading for them. Meganium attacks Steelix with SolarBeam but is proven ineffective. Later, Meganium becomes one of the Pokémon who is helping to save Raikou from Attila and Hun as Vincent has it use SolarBeam on the crystal-generated field along with Little Miss's Psybeam as any non-Electric-type move can neither absorb or reflect it. Later, it works with Typhlosion to take on Attila's and Hun's Pokémon. Around the end of the battle, Steelix was about to finish them off with Crunch but is stopped by Raikou when it escaped the Crystal System.

Meganium reappears in Tie One On! of the Silver Conference arc. Jackson wanted to save it for the Victory Tournament but realized that it was a mistake for him to do that. Outside, Meganium, along with Azumarill, gets into a rivalry with Ash's Bulbasaur and Squirtle respectively as they wanted to have the one apple that was hanging on the tree. Harrison's Miltank arrives and stops them with Heal Bell.

Jackson sends out Meganium about two of his Pokémon were defeated against Bulbasaur. Both of the Grass-type are still upset about each other for what happened before. They trade attacks to each others, not bothering to evade any of them. As they trade off SolarBeams, both of them are knocked off after a fierce battle, declaring it as a draw. Despite the draw, both of them start to get along, shaking vines.

It appeared again in a flashback in Pace - The Final Frontier! when Ash was remembering it battling Bulbasaur in memories from past.
