Viaplay is a subscription video on demand service and digital media store owned and operated by Nordic Entertainment Group. Launched in May 2007 as Viasat OnDemand, the service was renamed as Viaplay in March 2011, and is available in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland.[2] Content is accessible by different methods; some is available through a monthly subscription, and others can be purchased or rented.

Availability of the Pokémon anime

As of May 2020, the following is available with a Viaplay subscription in Sweden[3], Norway[4], Denmark[5] and Finland[6]:

  • Season 14 - Pokémon: Black & White
  • Season 15 - Pokémon BW: Rival Destinies
  • Season 16 - Pokémon BW: Adventures in Unova and Beyond
  • Season 17 - Pokémon the Series: XY
  • Season 18 - Pokémon the Series: XY Kalos Quest
  • Season 19 - Pokémon the Series: XYZ
  • Season 20 - Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon
  • Season 21 - Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Adventures
  • Season 22 - Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Legends
