Venusaur (Japanese: フシギバナ Fushigibana) is a Grass-type Stage 2 Pokémon card. It is one of the Wizards Black Star Promos.

Once during your turn (before your attack), you may use this power. Your active Pokémon and the Defending Pokémon are no longer Asleep, Confused, Paralyzed, or Poisoned. This power can't be used if Venusaur is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.

Remove a number of damage counters from Venusaur equal to half the damage done to the Defending Pokémon (after applying Weakness and Resistance) (rounded up to the nearest 10). If Venusaur has fewer damage counters than that, remove all of them.

Both the Japanese and English versions of this card were available as inserts with the Strategy Guide for Template:Card GB for the Game Boy Color.

Trivia

The Card GB version of this card could only be obtained through Card Pop! and is the only card out of the two Phantom Cards to be actually produced.

Origin

Mega Drain is a move in the Pokémon games that could only be learned by Venusaur via TM21 in Generation I. The card's English Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Red and Blue, whereas the Japanese entry comes from Pokémon Red and Green.
