In Japan, this card was made available to those who redeemed a ticket featured in the April 2004 issue of CoroCoro Comic, released on March 15, 2004, at participating Pokémon Card Gym venues. A Cosmos Holofoil version of the English print was one of two cards available in the EX Holon Phantoms Blister Packs, released in May 2006.
