Sigh. One, not a reason to chase people away, two, you guys have to stop this. Honestly. My talk page isn't a battleground. Kenji-Girl's page isn't a battleground. Why the heck is this one little detail that is implied so heavily by the fact that Birch is her father when you play as Brendan so damned important?

I want you to take a look at the history and talk page of the region navigation template. Look at what I did to the template early on. I included everything on it, and it looks incredibly stupid. But at the time, I thought that including all of that was the most important thing on Earth. Getting into arguments with the admins isn't helpful to anyone; it really tries our tempers as much as it tries yours, and holds Bulbapedia back. Did I act like I was being attacked when both Zhen and Pie, the two most well-known Bulbapedians at the time, said my idea sucked? No. I just found a better way of presenting said information.

Unlike that information, though, I must say that May's last name of Birch is really heavily implied in the article by her family members. It's like Ash's mom's name is implied, though she never said that her last name was Ketchum, since the first episode. But since she's called both "Mrs. Ketchum" and "Delia" by the characters... we do use her full name.

So yes, cool it man, cool it. There are more things to do than insist on May's last name. Platinum comes out in a week. A new influx of information will be arriving with it. Don't worry about this. TTEchidna 03:08, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Please don't erase talk page comments for no reason. Trust me, you do NOT want to end up like Big Johnno, who got into an edit war with a sysop over comments the former had erased and was trying to keep erased. Let me explain a few things:

1. We're not harassing you. You are violating a rule we have on Bulbapedia about not deleting talk page comments. Need I remind you about Big Johnno?

2. Don't get so hung up about somebody calling you a name on the internet. I've been called names all my life, do you really think I let it bother me? No. You shouldn't either.

3. I would have responded sooner, but I was instead making progress on our Platinum Standard upgrade. You realize how hard it is to make these edits when every time I click "Preview" there's a big yellow You have new messages sign across the top of my page?

They're not even giving a reason for it and if i revert moldy's edit it'll be an official edit war. It says Ash has a Sarcastic smile but sarcastic isn't the right word Sadistic (getting pleasure from others pain) and even cock would be the right word. I also added to why he was smiling in such a manner and they keep reverting it without giving a reasons and i feel they're doing it just because i was the one to edit it, or they're trying to start a edit war to get me riled up and get me blocked. not sure, glitch i guess. But KG undid two of my edits one on May's Bulbasaur and the other on the episode where Ash meets Max, and is smart mouthed by max. So ash enjoyed it when the little smart mouth got hurt and it was a sadistic manner not sarcastic manner because Sadistic would be getting pleasure from others pain i.e. Ash seeing max hurt and smiling. Yeah, I totally didn't get why you did that to May's Bulbasaur. Please explain. You didn't give I reason for why you did that other than saying all this crap about Ash's Bulbasaur. Ash's Bulbasaur is always smelling flowers he got paralyzed in a greenhouse and had to be saved by a gloom, and once i think he got into some pokénip doing the same. Also Ash did get some pleasure out of Max getting pay back for being a smart mouth. Ash was mad at max for insulting him as a trainer. Well i probably should have moved it but it was just stuck right there and the paragraph says that there were two things that make her different from ash's bulbasaur and it list the hearts on the head and then it goes into the flower thing, then it lists the second difference. Porygon/2/-Z's Body Types

It's not our personal opinions on their body types, they're in the Pokedex. Just go into yours and you should be able to see for yourself. ^_^ Porygon-Z 19:24, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

What do you mean go into my pokédex? Porygon and Porygon2 both have a head and base, Porygon's legs are barely even apart of it because they're detached. And Porygon-Z is of the type 9 not 4. People can't just buy what they want, when they want. The economy sucks and I got bills coming in. Also please just leave this between me and Porygon-Z where we can discuss this because i believe that we should change the body types and unless a screen shot of these pre-determined body types with the pokemon can be provided i say change them to fit their body type better. Okay. I don't have time to read all the discussions on various talk pages regarding whatever the issue is, here. However, I can gather that it has something to do with you changing the body type of a Pokémon. If you're changing it, you're changing it incorrectly. All the body types are officially confirmed. If I'm incorrect about that being the source of the dispute, please say so. Secondly, admins have no power over one another. Jioruji Derako can't tell me what to do, as we're both of equal rank. Admins typically build up trust amongst themselves, so I doubt he'd try to boss me anyway. If you have a complaint to make about the administration on Bulbapedia, please take it to the Bulbawiki Discussion threads on the forums. I'm willing to go with not changing the body types if they're correct, but i see no reason for Moldy Orange and TTEchinda to come here and harass me, and Bring in any ill will about a previous thing involving May's name being May Birch if she is the rival and if it should be noted or not. Instead of discussing it in a civil manner they resorted to bad mouthing me on the issue and not discuss it in a civil and non aggressive manner.

With the May thing, they like I said bad mouthed me and every time the argument or debate or what ever calmed down someone new put their two cents in and started the mess all over. Well, that settles one dispute. As for your complaints about some of the administrators on here, it's expected of administrators to keep their cool as much as possible, and it looks like some didn't exactly do that here. However, even us admins are human, and I don't exactly blame them for it. They are, after all, only human, and you do seem kind of exasperating... However, I think a better job could've been done in this case regarding civility on the part of both parties. Again, I suggest starting a thread on the forums. Is a forum really the best place for that kind of thing? In my experience Forums are just places for people to gang up on one someone, flame, troll and belittle those of different views with friends of a similar view. One of the problem here was a truck load of admin and editors coming in to add coal to the fire after it had start to die down. What will keep the same from happening there? First movie

In an edit summary on "Pokémon Heroes," you said "the first movie showed the clones of bulbasaur, charmander and squirtle die along with Dr. Fuji's daughter (amber?)."

Actually, those deaths occured in a special story called The Birth of Mewtwo, which as I understand it, appears on the Mewtwo Returns DVD. My understanding was it was cut because it was to dark in tone to 4kids. I know they dubbed it, and i have watched it on youtube. i only have the VHS of Mewtwo returns but that counts as a movie i think.

Seriously, let's talk

Okay, I've been calm about this situation for a while now. But now I'm getting serious. Please just drop this whole stupid dispute. I'm sorry to say, but you brought this all onto yourself. Had you just listened to Kenji-girl when she said adding May Birch was unnecessary, we would not be in this situation now. The reason people are telling you to leave is because they're getting sick and tired of you. You've spent the past few days calling people uncivil and being very hypocritical when you could have actually been doing something productive.

I don't want to see you get into trouble, but if you keep this up, that's where you're going to end up. Trust me, I've seen it happen before. People are making fun of you now because you just won't take their hints and realize that if so many people are telling you that you are wrong, there's a possibility that you are indeed wrong. I know about dealing with people, as there are members of my family that have a similar personality to yours in that they always have to have the last word. Well guess what? That's not the way the world works. And I'll be honest, you were making a fool of yourself out there. Do you really think that if none of the staff here agreed with what you were saying, the members of the forums would? Heck, you even caused Pie to reappear, and she hasn't been on the forums or at Bulbapedia in months.

But I do think you've taken this way too far and far too seriously. In the end, it's just a video game. Is it really worth getting all that worked up over? So an administrator protected a page. You said it was an abuse of power, but it was a preventative measure. If you want to know what a real abuse of power is, I'll tell you one. About a month ago, one of our Administrators who doesn't appear often came back and protected an article he created. He did so because he didn't like the direction the article was taking. Now that is an abuse of power.

So in conclusion, don't say we're harassing you. It may appear that way, but trust me, we're not. And there comes a point when the Deputy Head of Bulbagarden, the Head of Bulbapedia, the Deputy Head of Bulbapedia and one of the Style Editors of Bulbapedia tell you that you've gone on for too long, odds are, you probably have.

The infobox doesn't need the information there; the mere fact that Birch is their father is enough to imply it for any fanfic writers who write May as the rival, but outside of that, no one really cares.

I told Tavis to tell pokemaniac102 to not go to admins to have people blocked. Tavis told me not to do that and pokemaniac102 goes to TTE of all people.
