3rd gen best pokemon game if you don't agree don't hate but it has a well rounded story of how team magma wants less water and more land in the hoenn region. (vise versa Team aqua) When you start off you just moved to a new town and you are just meeting the neighbors when all of a sudden a person is being chased by a zigzagoon so you open up his bag and you get a choice between the 3 best starters (my oppinion) in a pokemon game Torchic the fire/fighting type pokemon treeko the grass type pokemon and mudkip the water/ ground pokemon. it doesn't have the best pokemon at first but their are a few true gems that stay with people through the whole game such as wurmple which isn't that good until it evolves into a Dustox/Beutifly and ralts who become a great phycic (Sorry for misspelled words) type if you never are lucky enough to catch an abra. the story progression is really good as your going along the sea on a boat. Which does lead to an issue of the game which is you spend too much time in water. I can overlook this because it allows more hidden area's and little islands to explore overall I think if you don't own pokemon ruby, sapphire, or emerald. You should go out and buy it.
