:This has been explained on your talk page, but I'll put it here anyway. Bulbapedia has devloped a notability policy to discourage short low-quality articles. You probably posted here before you saw what Kenji-girl wrote on your talk page, but if you follow the link she provided you'll see the table listing for Drew's Pokémon that haven't done enough. See, it doesn't come down to the number of appearances, or the number of battles they won. Plot and character devlopment are very important here. I hope I've made this clear. &mdash;<span style="font-family:Verdana"><span style="color:#000">darklord</span><span style="color:#0047AB">trom</span></span> 09:01, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm Sorry!
I should've known. Next time I will make sure to not use names like "you". That means I'll use "the player" then.

Whoops

Here, I figured out a little something that will work a little better. Sorry about that and thaks for everuthing.--MisterE13 18:48, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Done. —darklordtrom 22:52, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Some new stuff on there now, got rid of some redirects and added Rotom and Castform clauses. BTW, yes I had made one final mistake on the Infobox which is now fixed in my Sandbox I'm 100% sure it will work now though (and Shaymin's page will be perfect.)--MisterE13 01:01, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Which new stuff am I supposed to install? —darklordtrom 03:13, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Everything, its kind-of scattered in the first two so I suppose you could copy/paste. If that's no good, most of it was just redirect-avoiding (which I do believe is good). Other than that, it was just Rotom, Castform (and a slight Burmy) clauses.--MisterE13 03:17, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Query: What do the "improvements" actually do? Just sprite altering? —darklordtrom 03:25, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
A lot of redirects to Forme differences are avoided (don't know if that's as important as I think it is), putting in 412 automatically inserts a little "Plant Cloak" (for Burmy), the TM one now allows for Rotom (complete with sprites and "Forme differences" links) and they both allow for Castform (links only, obviously). That's pretty much it I think.--MisterE13 03:41, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
There are yet more last minute modifications in there now. Thanks for the trouble.--MisterE13 07:20, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

As it turns out, I had made a small placement error. All better now :D.--MisterE13 15:27, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

Books

Hey Trom, should we start making articles about the Pokémon books? A couple I can name of the top of my head are: Pokémon pop quiz by Carli Entin, and Attack of the prehistoric Pokémon by Tracey West. Actually, could we just make it a project? I could put together a list before you decided if you want. Thanks Trom! -MasterKenobi 03:43, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, definitely go ahead with that. I wouldn't suggest a full-flown project just yet, but maybe we can organise something more formal once some work has actually been done. Tracey West doesn't even have an article yet, so that may be a good place to start. I've read a few of her novelizations (but don't own any), and recall a bibliography on the back. And of course, the internet may be a good resource as well. —darklordtrom 07:36, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
This and this look like a good place to start. I will help with the project if it's created. *wishing I still had all of the books I had by her* --ルレ 07:54, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Wow, that first site looks great! I suppose I'll get started on that article, then. Unless you have already. —darklordtrom 07:59, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
I haven't. And of course that first site looks great. It's her official sight. (lol) --ルレ 08:00, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Hm. I should get some more sleep. I thought I was talking to the same person then.... D: —darklordtrom 08:16, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
lol What's this "sleep" of which you speak? It's 2:20 am here and I'm not tired at all. And it has nothing to do with the Pepsi I'm drinking. *should probably shut up now**goes to edit my userpage a ton (but only one recorded edit, no worries) and possibly create a couple book pages* Should we do pages for the pop quiz book mentioned above, the activity book, the how to draw Pokémon book (by Tracey West), and/or the sticker book? --ルレ 08:29, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
How about you try and do the lot? Keep up the quality, though. —darklordtrom 08:44, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Okay. They might not be very good, as there isn't much important stuff to write about (I believe). --ルレ 08:48, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

OK, thanks Trom. I can probably get my hands on a couple of the books but will start out with just a list of to-do stuff. Thanks again, and get yourself some sleep! –MasterKenobi 16:36, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Trom, I made a To-do list and have quite a bit more to add. I think, that I could probably make a project out of this if I get an OK. Here is the first book article, Island of the Giant Pokémon (book) but, I think to make it look a bit better we could use a template that includes the title, book cover image, pages, publication date, ISBN # (This one I think isn't really needed), and publisher. For the series books though we could make it like the anime or the manga where it links to the book before it and after it. -MasterKenobi 19:22, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

Quick question

Do you know how to link directly to a category on a userpage without it getting included and making it appear? I'm trying to extend list of (non talk) pages I've created on my userpage, but it won't show the category pages. --ルレ 08:37, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

cat. —darklordtrom 08:44, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! --ルレ 08:51, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

A Question

Three things (not all questions). First, how do you use special characters in the search boxes? Second, one of the pictures on your userpage doesn't display. Third, if there is supposed to be a Haunter pic on this page its not working and just says purplehaunter.png or something like that.--Swampert rox 16:39, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

The images are your problem, not mine. They all display for me. Try clearing your browser cache (Ctrl+F5). If, by special characters you mean the e-acute (é) you can either copy-paste from somewhere else, or you can type Alt+130. These can all be found in the character map for Windows. If you're on a Mac, I can't help you with that. There's probably a list on the internet of every special character ever created and the accompanying codes. —darklordtrom 02:49, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
For Mac: The é is option-e-e. I use it all the time. Other symbols can be gotten by other option- combinations. All the letter keys plus have special chars. --ルレ 03:03, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
If you mean Alt + 1 + 3 + 0, it doesn't work. If that's not what you meant, what do I type?--Swampert rox 21:19, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
I think he means to hold the Alt key and type 130 in that order, not all at once. I've never tried that method, though. --ルレ 21:22, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
Doesn't work (or do anything whatsoever).--Swampert rox 14:58, 5 July 2009 (UTC)
Then something's up with your computer. I'd love to fix it, but... um.... yeah..... —darklordtrom 05:18, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Alt+0233 can be used as an alternative for the e-acute. ~ solaris 05:20, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
You have to use the numberpad to type the numbers, not the row at the top of the keyboard. If you are using a laptop which doesn't have a numberpad then you can buy a usb one quite cheaply, or just cope with the redirects that should have been created. Werdnae 05:37, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Most laptops have an Fn key anyway, which activates keys differently. It's what I use: I gotta hold Fn and Alt and hit jlm. é. Happy daaaaay! TTEchidna 06:08, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
That doesn't work for me either. Is there any alternative way for a laptop?--Swampert rox 11:49, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Sorry again

Did I apologize for my behavior. I had not realized that I could not make other changes. I do not speak English well and I find it difficult to understand at times. Sorry again for my ignorance. --Brendon 8.35, 6 July 2009 (UTC)

yukushi wisdom

Thanks for your help. Actually, since I don't edit much in Bulbapedia, I was considering canceling my account. That's why I was editing. I didn't realise that I was doing it in my fake name lol but anyways thaks for everything. 23:57, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Accounts can't be canceled, unfortunately. Just go away and never come back :P If you want those subpages you blanked deleted, I can handle that for you. —darklordtrom 01:07, 21 July 2009 (UTC)

Slight problem

Well, it's not really a problem but, Trombony, I might need an option of no image (in which cse we might wanna colspan it). See Cissy to get what I mean. Many thanks. --electAbuzzzz 00:23, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

It shouldn't be too hard to get an image. I'll dig around, watch the episode and get good screenshots. —darklordtrom 01:58, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Yes, of course we can get the image. But the template is gonna be in a much wider use, and we're gonna have a lot of similar cases... But yeah, it's not too bad, just leaves some whitespace. --electAbuzzzz 10:21, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
Well I see that that's already fixed, but a few other things (sorry I'm being difficult, but I demand perfection :)), when you get the time: first, there's the subject of nicknamed Pokémon, like Ritchie's. I don't want the image caption to read "Ritchie's Sparky", I want it to read "Sparky", and the same for the main article link.
Second: Apparently I need the number of "="s on the section headers to be changeable. In most articles it should be the way you did it, but in some I need it to be one level lower.
Last but not least - check what happens if someone clicks the "edit" link in one of the sections... Is that supposed to be like that? --electAbuzzzz 11:25, 23 July 2009 (UTC)
*clicks edit* woah! Yeah, not good. We can fix that with a NOEDITSECTION magicword. We can set the image to default as noimage; although imageneeded may be better than a white gap. I'll add an optional parameter such as {nick}, which should hopefully override the current hovercaption formatting. There can also be optional parameters for lower headings. Can you show me an example of where that would be in place? It won't help the construction of the template; I'm just curious. :P
You probably didn't understand a word of that. Probably because I made up most of the terminology. Lol. I doubt I'll catch you on AIM this weekend so I'll either work through it when I have time, or catch up with you later. —darklordtrom 02:29, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, the reason I'm writing to you here is because we keep missing each other on AIM lately, and I figured it's best to let you know... So, here we go:
 1. The way you just canceled the section headers is no good. The reason I wanted section headers is because Casey's Elekid, Drew's Absol, etc, redirect to that specific Pokémon in the template. Get it? So put back the sectionheaders with that nice magicword of yours, please.
 2. Seems like Sol took care of the image thing for now.
 3. The {nick} parameter sounds great. Do it.
 4. Lower heading would come in case that the character exists in more than one media, AND has Pokémon not on hand. Why? Because then the headings go: ==In the anime==, ===Pokémon===, ====On hand====, and just THEN the Pokémon should be. Gary is the best example I can think of right now.
So you see Trombodude, you're underestimating my comprehension skills. I understand you kiwi wiki terminology just fine. --electAbuzzzz 12:27, 24 July 2009 (UTC)
The problem with the magicword, I later realised, is that it will cancel all section headers for the entire page. I think I may have an idea for the headings, too. I'll experiment, and get back to you later in the week. —darklordtrom 20:23, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

HGSS

 • Can you add something to the HGSS page saying something about the game containing both leafy trees and autumn trees? --Swampert = awesome (bleh) 19:28, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Redirects

Please be a bit more careful when trying to turn articles into redirects. I had to restore the article on Camerupt Point you had changed into a redirect because you made it redirect to Camerupt Point, hence causing an infinite redirect loop. --Shiningpikablu252 23:12, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Whoops; it was meant to go to Camerupt Mountain. Confuzzling :( —darklordtrom 23:14, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

Pokémon Black Market

If the article was full of speculation and all that, then slap a cleanup tag on it instead of deleting it! The Pokémon Black Market is a factual part of the Pokémon universe and thus is worthy of its own article. Could you restore it, please? Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 23:28, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

They'd be nothing left if all the speculation was removed. All you'd have left to say would be "The Pokémon black market is a black market for Pokémon which was talked about in DPxyz." I don't consider that to be article-worthy. —darklordtrom 23:29, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
There's also the fact about Snorunt being worth top dollar on it. Besides, it's not like the speculation in question was baseless. If Glalie was worth as much as or more than Snorunt on the market, the hunter would've just sold his own Glalie, rather than going to the trouble of snatching Snorunt. If Carnivine, Yanmega, Pikachu, Chimchar, or Buneary were worth as much as or more than Snorunt, then the hunter would've tried to take them as well. If anything, that could be confined to a trivia section. Plus, there's much worse in the way of stubs. Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 23:36, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
I didn't say it wasn't baseless; in fact I think they are perfectly reasonable assumptions. However, they remain just that. Perhaps the hunter hadn't realised that he could have sold Glalie, or perhaps he was sentimentally attached to it, or perhaps he just got a thrill from stealing Pokémon. These things are as unknown as the conclusions you have jumped to. If the information about Snorunt isn't mentioned on this page I'd suggest putting them there.
And yes, there are millions of stubs out there, and we are doing our best to clean them up (hence "featured stub" on the main page). It'd be great if you could give us a hand. —darklordtrom 23:40, 26 July 2009 (UTC)
It's not that I wouldn't love to, it's half the time I find a stub, I usually don't know too much information what that can be added to it. Missingno. Master wants YOU! Join the Order of the Glitch! (my talk page) 23:49, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

I would also like to extend my gratitude for quick action. He also touched both of our userpages. If you want, you can clear my history of the vandalism. Thanks again. By the way, the line I put for "Get off this wiki!" is a pun of Steve Wilkos telling bad guests "Get off my stage!" Just a thought. --rockersk08 20:56, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Trom old boy,

How do you set the size of the table of contents? Places like Double-Edge are getting a bit out of hand.--MisterE13 03:01, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

I don't know if it's possible to do that. You can set your preferences up, however, to autohide all TOCs. It's under Misc. —darklordtrom 03:05, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh, yours seemed squished (maybe its just your big purple box). Should I just not write "Gale of Darkness" then?--MisterE13 03:07, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
Oh, yeah, it's just been squished. I guess you could put it into an invisible table and set the width there... but that'll just make extend downwards further, which would be worse, IMO. Don't abbreviate the game name too far. Aside from the fact that it takes up my whole screen, there's no huge problem. —darklordtrom 03:10, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
PK, just realized I can take out "Pokémon" #2 :D.--MisterE13 03:11, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Chuck Norris

Username similar, just swapped the first few letters...how about it? Remove or keep? ht14 03:20, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Give him a chance, probably just a coinicidence; who wouldn't want to be named after the world's greatest human being?--MisterE13 03:22, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
I heard MediaWiki blocking powers don't work on Chuck Norris. IDK about his fanboys, so let's leave him for now. Don't want to break the server or anything. Chances are he won't do anything. If he does, we can jump him then. —darklordtrom 03:23, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
You guys wouldn't be talking about me, would you? Considering that ht14 posted about 12 minutes after I joined, I would say that's likely. Well, if you are talking about me, don't worry, I'm not a n00b, all I want to do is give back to the website which has helped me so much when playing through the Pokémon games. I'm not new to Wikis either; I'm a member on Wikipedia, and I've even almost entirely rewritten an article there (Whirled), and edited a few others. Nuck Chorris 04:27, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
I don't see a problem. Use your own judgement on this one, trom, since it's on your TP, but it's clearly not an impersonation. --ニョロトノ666 04:30, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Impersonating Chuck Norris? Or Chuck Norris himself? Is Chuck Norris a high-standing member? If so, I apologize for any apparent impersonation, all I did was I checked to see if I'd already registered here by looking for usernames beginning with "Nuck". Also, Trom, I can say from experience that the banhammer works on me, considering I have felt its wrath on Kingdom of Loathing. Don't worry, it was for taking a controversial debate too far. I doubt the banhammer would work on Chuck Norris himself, though. Even if it did, I woudn't want to try it on him. He'd probably be standing right behind you, in the middle of roundhousing you, even before the banhammer was swung. WATCH OUT FOR HIM!!!! —– Nuck Chorris (talk) 05:11, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Why?

Do you removed the image of Twinleaf Town from Platinum.Mario136 18:51, 30 July,2009 (UTC)

Despite the fact that it's from the latest game, it was of a lower quality and had giant arrows on it. —darklordtrom 19:46, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

Equivalent to Wikipedia's Template:Superseded-Image?

Trom – since you were the one who welcomed me, and you seem to be fairly active and helpful – do you know if Bulbapedia has an equivalent to Wikipedia's Template:Superseded-Image? I uploaded a higher-quality map for Eterna Forest (a:Image:EternaForest.png), but the old one still exists (Image:Eterna Forest.png). On Wikipedia, I know you'd just tag the old image with Template:Superseded-Image, but as I can't find that or something similar on Bulbapedia or Bulbagarden Archives, I don't know what to do. Any ideas? Nuck Chorris 04:33, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Nah, you'd just mark it for deletion and say in the edit summary that you uploaded a better one. Which image is this? I'll get it for you.--RexRacer 04:35, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Haha, just saw you linked it.--RexRacer 04:36, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks! I assume I use delete to mark it for deletion, right? —– Nuck Chorris (talk) 05:02, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Yep.--RexRacer 05:41, 2 August 2009 (UTC)

Idea

Since I'm not very good at coding, I thought I could give you an idea; the big list of moves on the List of moves article could possibly be reconstructed on the Contest category article, but with only move name and contest type (without power, accuracy, fughting type, etc.) Do you think that is a good idea and would you be able to do that/find someone to do that? If not I can have a go, but as I say, I'm not very knowledgable in that area. Thanks --DragonMaster 09:11, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

I've been working on compiling a list similar to the one near the bottom of, say this page, for contests. It's largely incomplete and in a sandbox. This is largely a copy-and-paste job from the moves' individual articles designed to tidy up articles like Cool Contest, so feel free to chip in if you want. I haven't touched it for about half a year... —darklordtrom 11:44, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Undoing my changes.

I was wondering why some Pokémon pages auto-forward, and some don't. Help? --FromCrimsonToWool 03:07, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

We call it redirecting. If a Pokémon exists in another media, typically the anime (e.g. Ash's Pikachu) or manga (e.g. Poochyena (CCP)), the page doesn't redirect and serves as a disambiguation. This is done because if someone searches for, say, Bulbasaur, they may be looking for Ash's, May's, one from the manga, or simply the species. Think of it as kind of a signpost. Not all Pokémon are special enough though (e.g. Paras), so they don't have the disambiguation page as searchers will clearly be looking for the article about the species. —darklordtrom 03:13, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Okay, so how, and thus where, do we all draw the line? Also, why not just include a link at the top of the pokémon page for something like that?--FromCrimsonToWool 03:30, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Generally if a Trainer's Pokémon has an article, the Pokémon page gets disambiguated. This is our system, and this is how it's worked for a couple of years. There was a poll about this less than two years ago, when the users had the chance to vote about this. For many reasons, this is what we came up with. —darklordtrom 03:38, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
That is an argument that has gone on since the beginning. It was decided that changing it would upset more people than it does keeping it the same. It would also make soooo many things much harder. It is something that is set in stone, and will never change. MaverickNate 03:38, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Hokay. Thanks. I just kind of figured that there would have been more support for it to be the other way around, as in more game centric.--FromCrimsonToWool 03:51, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Brendan

Holy crap man... you just helped more than you know, doing those party templates. I was gonna try to get them done in the next few days, and you just made my life easier. I know that you didn't make any mistakes other than that one getting the Pokémon mixed up, but I'm gonna go over it once more tomorrow just for yucks. Seriously though, thanks. x-x R.A. Hunter Blade 04:11, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

If there was something wrong, it'll have been wrong on May's page too. It was a direct copy-paste. —darklordtrom 05:25, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Crappit. *checks May* Yeah... oh well. Fixed now. Still, thanks for that. Oops. And I forgot, Brendan has a slightly different team than May. I'll change that too... R.A. Hunter Blade 19:00, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Different? Really? How odd. —darklordtrom 20:06, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Don't worry about it. I shoulda caught it last night, but I had just gotten home from the airport a few hours earlier. That's my fault, not yours. R.A. Hunter Blade 20:23, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

ABC

Sorry about all this constantly running-ideas-by-you thing, but I just dont yet feel its my place to go changing Bulbapedia without guidance. Anyway, do you think the list on this page should be alphebatised? If so, let me know on my talk page and I'll get right on to it...Thanks--DragonMaster 07:21, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

That's already. I enjoy being able to help. The answer is "Nope". It appears to be on an importance-first basis. It's fine as is. —darklordtrom 10:05, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
I've got one, mostly for my education. Would this question have been better placed on the Talk tab of said page?--FromCrimsonToWool 10:15, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Well, yeah, if you wanna get all literal on me... :P --DragonMaster 12:09, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Actually, now I look and think about it, the more it seems like the list is in order of which comes first and when you meet them etc. --DragonMaster 12:10, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
FCTW: That's the way talk pages are meant to function. However, an article that obscure may not get noticed. I personally have no problem with people bringing things up on my talk page. —darklordtrom 20:06, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Got it, thank you. - unsigned comment from FromCrimsonToWool (talkcontribs)

Shinx Comment

I was trying to see if anyone thought it was interesting enough to put in trivia, not chatting it up. --Crystal Shards 16:52, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Either way, X looks like Y trivia is an opinion. That kind of thing isn't allowed, because two people may see things differently. We try and be objective. —darklordtrom 20:06, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Could have explained that earlier instead of just taking it out. --Crystal Shards 22:42, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
That's how things get done here. Unacceptable comments are removed, to prevent people abusing the talk page for discussion about the subject of the article, rather than its content. This is all explained in that lovely green welcome on the top of your usertalk page. —darklordtrom 22:58, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
Yeah I read that; thanks anyway. Too bad we just had a different definition of "unacceptable" at that point in time. --Crystal Shards 01:35, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Template

I've created a template HeldItems. I need work on a parser, the Gen I one. After that, we can all insert the stuff accordingly. ht14 21:02, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Once that's done, I'll organize the held items according to items (category). ht14 21:03, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Final thing. I also need another section for Pokemon with 2 possible held items. ht14 21:05, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
Sorry Trombonator, I couldn't sleep and felt the need to handle this one (with a little help from a certain echidna). - unsigned comment from MisterE13 (talkcontribs)
Sigh... clearly you guys totally missed the fact that I'd already created one... held item... —darklordtrom 10:54, 8 August 2009 (UTC)
Ironic how I even posted on that template talk page... ht14 01:49, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
And in its section on my third talk archive. Seeing as it's apparently nicer, I've unprotected it to allow you to make any changes you wish. —darklordtrom 01:51, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Cool....Gen II has weird percentages though...8%...I dunno how to handle that... ht14 01:53, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Are they standard, or different per Pokémon? If they are the same we can have it set up to use the tt template. —darklordtrom 01:54, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Seems to be different unfortunately...Sacred Ash/Leftovers for instance for Ho-oh/Snorlax. 100%. Speaking of which...Numel and Vulpix are 100% also...so scratch that. That method isn't that great... ht14 01:59, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
There is a clause in there for 100%. Or, at least, I had one drafted. —darklordtrom 02:00, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Oh. Did you see the ones where I used the template? As of now though, just protect it. I'm not the greatest with tables... ht14 02:02, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
I've actually been doing some work on ht's. Unfotunately, I think third versions can be different than the other two. Should we seperate?--MisterE13 02:03, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Umm...not only that...Elekid and Magby...though minor problem. More major issue may be images and redirects...Stardust... ht14 02:05, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Images should all have standard filenames. If you spot any more that aren't, let me know. The D/P mismatch could potentially be solved with a footer. —darklordtrom 02:12, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Right...Nugget? Also...berries...most of the held items are berries. With the format right now...t's not linking to it... ht14 02:15, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Yes, nuggets and berries are now named correctly. The correct filename is File:Bag Name Sprite.png. I like what MisterE13 did with the itemtype. —darklordtrom 02:19, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Sorry and thanks...Soft Sand...Poison Barb...type-enhancing items...all right. Just protect it...I can't take this right now... ht14 02:20, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
They got done a while ago. I've decided to leave it open. MisterE or tc may want to play. If anyone else wants to take a stab, be my guest. —darklordtrom 02:23, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Right. One last thing. Can you categorize the as Pokémon with wild held items. Thanks for everything. ht14 02:28, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Way ahead of you there. :P —darklordtrom 02:29, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
XD Problem...as I was saying before...Sentret...Berry leads to Berries, which is what we're not talking about here... ht14 02:32, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Last thing. GSC didn't have sprites... ht14 02:33, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Just finished fixing. Actually, I'm doing a lot of work on it right now so you might want to wait a bit before asking fo anything else :).--MisterE13 02:41, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
OK. ht14 02:44, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
*hopes it's not too late* Shards. ht14 03:09, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Yellow and Red are fine but the others were uploaded in .gif format. If you can fix that (you were the original uploader, after all), tag the old ones with delete and replace the links. —darklordtrom 03:11, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Done. So it'll be . Unless you want to move it and make it simpler that is... ht14 03:21, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

I've started a three step plan I conceived last night to perfect this template. I just need to know if there are any version-exclusives other than the Light Ball in Gen I, the Soul Dew in Gen III, and the Magmarizer/Electrizer in Gen IV? This would include any item with different rates or found on a different Pokémon.--MisterE13 18:34, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

I would think that's it. ht14 18:51, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

News Page discussion

Hey trom, I made a comment here (http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Many_features_to_return_to_HeartGold,_SoulSilver) about the latest news from CoroCoro magazine when you get a chance. Provided a bit of translation to clear up any speculation/confusion. :)

Also, how the hell do you sign comments on here. :| - unsigned comment from Gimmetokyo (talkcontribs)

Use ~~~~. Either type them, or use the thing under the text box. Both of them work. R.A. Hunter Blade 18:39, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

I am sorry!

I won't do it again. But I get back soon.--Pokelover195 20:38, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Computer says no. You abused our trust. You have to earn it back. —darklordtrom 20:39, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Ok. I agree. --Pokelover195 23:04, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Hey Trom!

Did you have a sandbox. or not on your userpage. Because I want to check out user's Sandbox. --Pokelover195 21:08, 9 August 2009 (UTC)-

Nope. To be honest, you don't need one; you are currently unable to edit any pages in the userspace (that is to say, any page prefixed by User:). In any regard, a sandbox is just a testing area. People have different things in them depending on what they are working on. —darklordtrom 21:12, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Random thing

For berries on the actual berries page, should we leave it the way it is or use sprites from here? It's for consistency with the e-Reader berries. ht14 03:59, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Ask the Project Leader. --electAbuzzzz 09:19, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Arceus and the Jewel of Life

Just because you're a sysop doesn't mean you can disregard the rules and revert confirmed and relevant edits. --Shiny Noctowl 22:02, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

I haven't disregarded any rules. The page was undergoing an edit war, and as per our procedures it has been left at its original state. As you are no doubt aware there is a discussion on the talk page. This was going on before you jumped in, and is still now. The rename will take place once an outcome has been established. —darklordtrom 22:37, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Cause you getting on AIM would be pointless...

If we tie again, does this mean I can revert you? Or can't I since you're basically above me in the power rank? Oh, and I need to ask you something as well. Can you roundy-ify the CharacterInfoBox stuff please? There's a lot to it and you're the only one who I'd ask to do it because I like making you work and I can't really touch the stuff, and cause I don't know how to round-ify stuff...--PsychicRider 01:32, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

You're right, it would be. You can revert if you want to. I thought about it, but didn't want to fill up the newbie's inbox. What kind of color scheme you looking at? —darklordtrom 01:38, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Well, I was actually kinda particular for a categorization thing going. Like 4 colors, one for each generation, which also categorizes them by the color into generation, ie Mr. Stone having a red color and having all red color ones categorized into Gen 3 characters. However, if it isn't possible to do that, just make them all how they were and just roundy-ify them, please. :D. --PsychicRider 01:43, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
We can do that! Just name the color schemes. The only problem atm is that anime and manga use the same template. —darklordtrom 01:45, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
Hm...Well, that might be a problem...Uh...if anything I'd like them of course to be "color name" color light, but I'd go with yellow, crystal, emerald and platinum perhaps for respective generational debut...If not, tell me which ones would be a problem...--PsychicRider 01:56, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Pokemon Diamond

What!? You didnt complete the national dex in diamond!? I have pearl, diamond, and platinum and i completed the pokedex without transfering! I am a 10 year old boy and ur 18!-Arceus99

Anyone else like to point out that I'm a failure in life, or are we done here? —darklordtrom 21:14, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Apricorn Shaker

Could you delete it from List of key items in Generation IV? It's confirmed that it is NOT an item, but rather an overworld tool like Berry Blender or Poffin Mixer. Having it listed as item is completely irrelevant. --Maxim 19:35, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Cheers, Maxim. If it hasn't been taken off already I'll get it now. —darklordtrom 21:14, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

sorry

Apricorn Table

Hello Trom. I fixed the table as you asked, fixed the border, labeled the table like the old one, and added the Japanese Apricorn names. The only thing I did not do was redo the image labels as TTE said,"Remove the image links and die...". So if you want them changed as someone else did to the other table (I do not know if it was authorized) so I just left them. If you need anything else done to it just ask. (Table still on talk page) also I will not replace the table until you tell me to, or you can just do it. –MasterKenobi 19:46, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for your effort, Master K. I see someone did have a deathwish, so I've put it on the page. Again, thanks. —darklordtrom 21:14, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
No problem at all. Thanks for the suggestions. –MasterKenobi 23:12, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Something I want you to check out...

Yo Tromski, I know you got about a gazillion stuff to do already (including the {nick} parameter to our lovely template), but I need you to take a look at this. I did my best so far but I'll need help with the moves tables. If you can, go on AIM. --electAbuzzzz 22:42, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Proposition

What do you think about deleting the users who haven't made any contributions? Would that make a difference of the size of Bulbapedia? At least we can warn them to contribute or be blocked. I took a look at the new users since 2006 and saw that most didn't make contributions... then I saw BULBABOT's contributions and stopped soon after it. Would this make any difference whatsoever? Or should we keep them all to show how many users we have? Just a thought, but think about it. Pyles 23:27, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Accounts can't be deleted. End of story. —darklordtrom 23:28, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Really? no acceptions? seems kind of a waste of space. Pyles 23:31, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
People create accounts for various reasons. Some people register to secure their wellknown username from other sites to prevent people impersonating them. Some people register to avoid seeing the ads while they browse. Some people register to create fake pages and disrupt the creation of the encyclopedia. Everyone has different intentions for signing up, and with the exception of dickheads vandals, we shouldn't penalize anyone. —darklordtrom 23:35, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for clearing up my ignorance of other stuff on Bulbapedia. I didn't even think of some of those things. Pyles 23:37, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Solidad

hey man just wondering why you deleted my page on solidad's slowbro everything on there was true slowbro appeared in more than 1 episode it was in three i would say slowbro and evan lapras could be said to be solidads signiture pokemon so i dont see why her pokemon can't have a page solidadrox

This has been explained on your talk page, but I'll put it here anyway. —darklordtrom 09:01, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm Sorry!

I should've known. Next time I will make sure to not use names like "you". That means I'll use "the player" then. --Naoy5 17:48, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
