By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Edit warring

Please do not repeatedly revert or add back removed information, it falls under edit warring. If you disagree with an edit, discuss it with the user that reverted you or on the talk page of the disputed article. Although in this case, you have gone to someone, but still made the changes anyway without getting an actual consensus or green light to make the changes. Please wait for there to be a consensus before making the changes. Thank you.--ForceFire 10:44, 20 July 2019 (UTC)

I did wait for a consensus, but the other side isn't responding, and is not even properly addressing my sides of the argument anyways. The one little response from the admin I was trying to discuss this with basically boils down to "The current title isn't accurate but it doesn't matter". Not to mention, even if I do reach a consensus with one person (which I did) and then change, someone else comes along and undoes the revision without even knowing the details. Whatever happened to only posting information that you knew were accurate? The changes that I'm making, I absolutely know that they're accurate because I use the source Kanji (究, 極) very frequently. They're like one of those daily usage words. So I know them inside and out, and then I see Sapphire's title, which uses those (one source has one, another has the other), with a completely mismatching English "translation", so I fix it, and then someone who doesn't even remotely understand Kanji comes along and undoes the revision because they immediately assume I'm wrong. The second person who undid the revision even said so when I summarized my thoughts.
And the person who undid my revision for the second time most recently, I actually sent a mail to them after the first time, explaining my reasoning. Didn't get a response. I assume that's because they have the mail setting turned off or something, and that I should've done the whole "talk page" thing. First time editing, so live and learn. Fine. But they didn't even bother asking for my thoughts before undoing the revision a second time. But now that you conveniently put a lock on the page, only allowing admins to edit it, maybe you can fix the error and undo the undoing of my revision, OR convince me why Sapphire's current title is the best choice. I'm trying to be reasonable, but no one else is tying to reason with me.The Hidden Type (talk) 14:26, 20 July 2019 (UTC)
