Before I leave, I gotta remind you that every non-gen IV Pokemon that are NOT in the Sinnoh Dex keeps the same D/P sprite. DO the sprite table should be altered so that the platinum links link over to the d/p sprites...OR...you could waste server space and upload the pictures AGAIN...it's all up to what the people of Bulbapeida thinks. Explain

Could you explain to me how the new Platinum animation thing works? tc26 09:39, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

. If you don't see it animating your browser's sucky (ie, IE). What we're planning is to make all of the Platinum spites do this as well, and eventually, the DP ones as well (don't worry, ###.png will stay as the static battlesprite).

Reminds me of the one episode of Futurama, where they have to deal with the giant ball of garbage Earth got rid of years before by launching into space. Because people are meant to do it all at once. The templates used categorize it so that when the category's no longer needed, it can be removed from the template, thus saving us from having to edit 467 pages again. TTEchidna 09:08, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

New expansive project

There are a hell of a lot of uncategorized templates. Not laying blame on anyone, just stating a fact. I think that's a problem. Therefore, I plan on beginning what looks to be a fairly lengthly project tomorrow of categorizing all these templates. Like, all the AnimeInfobox templates would go under Category:Anime Infobox templates, which would in turn go under some other category, probably just plain old Category:Templates. I'm not asking for any help, but I am wondering if it's alright if I go ahead and do that. Like, there's no reason those are uncategorized, is there? --ニョロトノ666 22:33, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Whatever you do, don't categorize Template:Character palette. That's been tried twice in the past, and both times it had to be de-categorized due to weird problems popping up while categorized. --Shiningpikablu252 22:56, 14 September 2008 (UTC)

Sort of like the Main Page rule: only one should not be.

I'd say that any templates that aren't categorized but are subtemplates of another template should be categorized as subtemplates and in the category their parent template is in. TTEchidna 02:09, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

If there's a next game with new sprites, uploading should be organized where the sprites must be uploaded in order or something. Because now, there are just random sprites uploaded, and you don't know which one is still to be uploaded. That's why next game we're not gonna upload any screenshot-ripped sprites. Next game we're going to wait for the guys who know what they're doing to rip them from the game, so then Zhen can upload them all to the archives via BulbaBot.

Editing the template won't work, it was edited to accomidate XD, so all the templates have to be fixed. And yes, you did it correctly. Roam Free and fix all the templates! The Placebo Effect 22:26, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

I was going to have them help me with the alt sprites, but I ended up finishing all but one on my own...I've seen Kenji-girl this afternoon, but Tc26 had disappeared for a long time. Anyways, I think I'm done uploading for today...unless Kuki comes up with new ideas. I had organized this thing on my user page...it's kind of like an organized project for alt sprites. Instead of it being on my user page, do you think we could make a new project page for it?
