Suggestion(s)

i like this page here, its pretty cool, but, may i suggest merging the Butterfly and Moth section? they are very closely related. also, you have Pineco, but no Forretress! he is also based on a bagworm. and finally, more of a comment, youd think, that with the fast mount of spiders out there, there would be more than one evo line relating to them....moreover, youd think the ONE evo line they give us would be good...oh well. theres always Gen V! -- MAGNEDETH 23:40, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Forget the spiders, there are many obvious animals yet to have a Pokémon based on them... Dolphins are the best example. Like you said, there's always Gen V... --electAbuzzzz 23:45, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
wow, didnt even think of Dolphins. with the above average intelligence of Dolphins, we can have a Water/Psychic-type! oh wait, thats been done before...more than once...but, im looking down the line here, dont you think Mamoswine belongs in the Elephant section? i know its "Mamoswine", but its more based on woolly mammoths, whom are elephant based. -- MAGNEDETH 23:48, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
I definitely prefer this in your userspace than in the mainspace. You've done a nice job with it, too. As far as suggestions go, how about Trapinch's family being based on antlions? --((Marton imos)) 23:52, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
Mag: I took your offers about butterflies and moths, as well as Forretress. As for Mamoswine, I'm not sure. I'm now considering removing him from the list entirely. Mart: I'm not sure about that... The connection isn't obvious enough to me. Thanks for the compliment, though. --electAbuzzzz 11:49, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
I like the page. Interesting idea. However, maybe Arceus should be included? It's closer to a horse than anything else...Maybe even a human section, which would include the Machop line, Mr. Mime, Jynx, Alakazam, and other similar Pokémon? ...βetA ZerØ 15:17, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Fish!

Just a heads-up, mudskippers are fish, not amphibians. Just lettin' you know!--Totodilesentret!Talk to me. 13:26, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

good job!

I've gotta hand it to you, awesome list here, great job :) ZaphodBeeblebrox 22:01, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Pineco

Though they are one of the Bagworm Pokemon, I wouldn't say that they are based off of bagworms. Virtual-Z 09:39, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

Mainspace!!

I've made your article MainSpace. It's got to be Mainspace worthy. SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 19:05, 8 January 2010 (UTC)

This is quite important. If we can't do it the way I did it, why not have a catagory or two? SpecialK Leiks Lucario and The Celebi Glitch 11:05, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
No, it will not get mainspaced. mainly because it'll cause a war on some users opinions.--ForceFire 11:15, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
This page started out on the mainspace, but was too opinionated and caused a lot of edit warring and flaming. We decided it's more suitable in the userspace, and that's where it's gonna stay. --electAbuzzzz 12:07, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

creation

hi, did you just create this page and if so how did you do it because i wanted to create a similar page relating to berries and which real life berries they are based on. Eevee obsessed 008

You're free to create such a page in your userpage. You can do it, for example, at User:Eevee obsessed 008/Berries. --electAbuzzzz 22:31, 22 February 2010 (UTC)

Just so you know

I accidentally edited this page, not knowing it wasn't in the mainspace. I didn't mean to and I have undone it now. MetalMetroid997 00:10, 6 January 2011 (UTC) I did the same thing. sorry.--Supermon 22:10, 10 December 2011 (UTC)

Missing Pokémon

Can I or anyone add missing Pokémon from newer generations into groups after species depending on its origins? Thanks! Cinday123 (talk) 00:19, 17 November 2013 (UTC)

Sprites into artwork

Since most of the Pokémon have sprites, will anyone turn every sprite into artwork? Cinday123 (Talk) 00:54, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Please focus on improving/updating the mainspace. This is the userspace, it shouldn't matter if this page is using sprites or artwork.--ForceFire 02:48, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
Thanks Force Fire, this page may keep the sprites! Cinday123 (Talk) 03:15, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Some mistakes/misses I've noticed

I'm looking forward this page, as it seems very interesting, but I've got some suggestions.

- The "spider" section is missing Joltik and Galvantula.
- The "deer" section is missing Deerling and Sawsbuck.
- The "bear" section is missing Cubchoo and Beartic.
- The "mole" section is missing Drillbur and Excadrill.
- The "canine" section is missing Lillipup, Herdier and Stoutland.
- The "snake" section is missing Snivy, Servine and Serperior.
- The "pig" section is missing Tepig, Pignite and Emboar.
- The "primate" section is missing the elemental monkeys.
- The "rodent" section is missing Patrat, Watchog, Minccino and Cinccino.
- The "dinosaur" section is missing Cranidos, Rampardos, Shieldon, Bastiodon, Archen and Archeops.
- The "turtle" section is missing Tirtouga and Carracosta.
- The "hedgehog" section is missing Quilladin and Chesnaught.
- The "mushroom" section is missing Foongus and Amoonguss.
- The "cactus" section is missing Maractus.
- The "bird" section is missing Hawlucha.
- Maybe a "pterosaur" section for Aerodactyl?
- Maybe a "rooster" section for Blaziken?
- Maybe a "vulture" section for Vullaby and Mandibuzz?
- Maybe a "eagle" section for Rufflet and Braviary?
- Maybe a "swan" section for Ducklett and Swanna?
- Maybe a "zebra" section for Blitzle and Zebstrika?
- Maybe a "pigeon" section for Pidove and Tranquill?
- Maybe a "gamefowl" section for Unfezant?
- Maybe a "buffalo" section for Bouffalant?
- Maybe a "anteater" section for Heatmor?
- Maybe a "ant" section for Durant?
- Maybe a "centipede" section for Venipede, Whirlipede and Scolipede?
- Some of the Pokemon on the various "general" section, in my opinion, are too clearly based on a specific animal to be there. Taillow and Swellow are too much based on swallows, Goldeen and Seaking too much based on goldfishes, etc. This is especially blatant since you didn't think it twice about putting the Nidorans on the "rabbit" section (when they look nothing at all like rabbits).
- The "feline" section has its format quite messed up, and it's missing Purrloin and Liepard.
- Some lines (particularly the Drowzee, Zorua and Frillish lines) are based on animals (tapir, fox and jellyfish respectively) but also on Japanese folklore, so I don't know if they fit here.

There are probably more, but that's all I can think at the moment. I would do it myself, but I think it would be rude to edit someone else's page without permission, so I bring it here for discussion. El shendee (talk) 5:20, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Please read the userspace policy if you are allowed to edit other user's pages with permission given. Also the Snivy line are missing from the snake section. Cinday123 (Talk) 04:29, 13 January 2014 (UTC)
I want to point out that Mudbray is based on a donkey, not a horse. --Moonboy65 (talk) 17:05, 11 August 2016 (UTC)

Moving/deleting

Since users are now just changing this page even though it's in my userspace, and I am no longer an active user, I will delete this page at the end of the month. If anyone wants to keep it in their own userpage, they're welcome to move it there before I delete it. --electAbuzzzz 21:43, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Would it be alright if I can have this page? — Reshi643 22:43, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
Well, as buzz said, anyone who wants it can move it to their own userspace. Guess you're the lucky new owner since you asked first XD If you'd like, I can move it for you ^^' --ZestyCactus 22:53, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
Sure, thanks. — Reshi643 22:57, 14 January 2014 (UTC)
All yours, enjoy. --ZestyCactus 23:06, 14 January 2014 (UTC)

Some recommended fixes

I have some suggestions for you: Horses, Zebras and Donkeys are all Equidae, perhaps you could combine them into that. Lapras and Aerodactyl should go with the other dinosaurs since the Plesiosaur and Pterosaur are also dinosaurs. Shiftry is not based on a tree, it is based on the tengu. --Moonboy65 (talk) 21:59, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
