By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Umm

Don't want to sound confrontational but was there a reason as to why my edit got reverted on Ash's Glalie page? It took out the image of Ash's Snorunt using Headbutt and the separation was necessary. In the future, if you revert someone's edit, state on the edit summary as to why unless it's obvious (i.e.: spam). PattyMan 01:02, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Sorry, didn't know i was suppose to state why I reverted somebody's edit. Pokemon don't get two boxes for their moves unless they've used at least six moves. Glalie has only used four.Reinhartmax (talk) 01:14, 7 July 2015 (UTC)
Thank you for your input. Stating reasons in the edit summary during reversions is also for learning purposes so users could know what they could do next time. In the meantime, I'll just add back Snorunt's Headbutt image since it was accidentally removed. PattyMan 01:19, 7 July 2015 (UTC)

Ash's Leavanny

Why did you undo the edit to Ash's Leavanny? Ash's Leavanny used String Shot and Energy Ball so there's no need for the pictures of him using those attacks back when he was a Sewaddle and Swadloon respectively. Plus, putting up a second picture makes the Move Used section look crowded since Leavanny only used 6 moves. --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 15:11, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

I just copied the code from an old edit because it needed two boxes because it had at least six moves. Reinhartmax (talk) 20:56, 6 August 2015 (UTC)

But why does it need two boxes? --PKMNAdventurer (talk) 02:28, 9 August 2015 (UTC)

When a Pokemon uses six moves or more it gets two boxes. Things like Ash's Frogadier or Charizard and all others that fit this and have two boxes. Reinhartmax (talk) 20:25, 9 August 2015 (UTC)

Temporarily-controlled/"borrowed" Pokémon

If a character temporarily controlled or "borrowed" a Pokémon, the template for that character's Pokémon does not go on that Pokémon's page. Please stop adding them. Thank you. --Carmen (Talk | contribs) 05:03, 13 April 2016 (UTC)

Sorry, I didn't know that. Thanks for informing me. Reinhartmax (talk) 05:04, 13 April 2016 (UTC)

Champion in the anime

Winning the regional conference does not make them the champion. Games=/=anime. As said in the Diamond and Pearl series, to become the champion, one has to beat the actual champion. Winning the conference just makes them eligible to battle the champion for the title.--ForceFire 04:58, 20 August 2016 (UTC)

Manga moves.

Hello, I see that you have been adding moves to the Pokespe manga section for some time now. However, I'd like you to know that we have a rule here. Under no circumstances are you to add moves that have not been explicitly called out by a Trainer. You see, it is very hard to determine what move is being used unless a Trainer outright states what it is. Sometimes it is hard to even know if it's a move or just a basic attack. In addition, with so many moves of each type, it is hard to determine whether or not a move is one move or a completely different one. As such, we have chosen not to assume any move unless it is called out. Please, in the future, only add moves that were called out. If it isn't called out, just ignore it completely. Thank you. Squishy's Extreme Speed

Is there any particular reason you deleted that from XY133's major events? It's considered a major event when a Pokémon on the main cast learns or is revealed to know a new move. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 02:16, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

I thought it was only put in major events if a main character's Pokémon had a new move. Also none of the other pages where Squishy had a new move mentioned it on major events. Reinhartmax (talk) 02:22, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
Its only other moves revealed are Land's Wrath (which it used in its debut episode) and Dragon Pulse (which made its debut in the Magearna movie), which probably has something to do with it. Besides, the Pokémon in question can be a main character as opposed to just belonging to a main character.
