Please leave new messages at the bottom of this page.

Welcome to Bulbapedia, PsychicRider!

As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your editing:

  • For a basic overview of wiki code, see this page.
  • Read over the style primer before making your edits. It is a basic outline of Bulbapedia style. For a more in-depth set of rules, see the manual of style.
  • Keep an eye on the Messages from the Editor on the main page, to stay informed on current events on Bulbapedia.
  • The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The é can be accessed by holding Alt and typing either 130 or 0233 on a Windows computer, and by using Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can easily click it in the character palette below the editbox.
  • The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a capital B. The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
  • The word "you" and all forms of it should not be used on encyclopedic pages unless it is a quote from Pokémon or other media. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, not a walkthrough.
  • On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
  • The use of link templates is official policy.
  • If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.
  • A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here.
  • For a future capture, release, trade, or evolution of a Pokémon belonging to a main character of the anime, please do not create or move the page to reflect your suspicions, even if they are shared by many others. Policy here is to wait until the episode in which the event happens takes place is aired, unless there is substantial evidence for the suspicion (such as Brock's Happiny being held in his arms).
  • Image uploading is done on Bulbagarden Archives, a separate wiki accessible through the toolbox in the sidebar. This is done so that both Bulbapedia and Bulbanews have access to the images uploaded. To activate your account at the Archives and Bulbanews, please login there using the same username and password you use here on Bulbapedia.
  • If you want to make a page about a character you made up, please create it at User:PsychicRider/(name), not merely (name). Bulbapedia's main namespace is reserved for actual, official Pokémon, items, characters, and locations. Also, please try to make sure that subpages are not categorized by templates used within.
  • Having said this, please make sure that you do contribute adequately to the main namespace. Bulbapedia is not MySpace or Facebook.
  • All users are allowed to edit the userspace 3 times a day. If you edit more than 3 times, you may be subjected to a warning. If you ignore the warning, you will be given three chances to comply. If you do not comply, your ability to modify the userspace will be revoked for a period of time.
  • Unless prior permission is given, no user is permitted to edit another user's page. Furthermore, edits to other users' pages are permitted only if there are problems that spread to other parts of Bulbapedia, such as broken links that appear on the wanted pages, switching out duplicate images that appear on the Archives, etc.
  • Fan fictions, missions, riddles, games, and anything else deemed not suitable for the wiki will not be allowed. If you would like to add something, but do not know if it is acceptable, ask an administrator.
  • A list of administrators that you can contact in case of a problem can be found here.

Thank you, and have a good time editing here! --PsychicRider 02:12, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Riley's Pokemon

You deleted those Pokémon from Riley's article just because Merrick doesn't list them, right? But Merrick's list is based ONLY on what he met in-game himself. Our list is based on actual game data. He, in fact USES those Pokémon (I even remember he had Infernape and Garchomp when I chose him as Battle Tower Partner). So, please, don't follow Merrick religiously. He's not the most trustable source in the world. --Maxim 10:40, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Vandal attack

What's the fastest way we can alert the admins?!?!? --electAbuzzzz (TALK) 12:49, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

How can we stop a vandal from destroying Bulbapedia?--Misty-May-Dawn rulz 12:55, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Either through the talk page, forums or like private messaging, I'd imagine. But it would only work if he or she is on Bulbapedia. Is he still going?--PsychicRider 13:07, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Not in the last few minutes, but he's still here. --electAbuzzzz (TALK) 13:07, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'll try to look out for him. My birthdays today and I'm leaving soon, I wouldnt be able to to much he comes back during that time. But for the time being I'll try. We will just have to deal with him until an admin gets online. --PsychicRider 13:09, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
In that case, happy birthday and don't worry 'bout it. We got it covered. --electAbuzzzz (TALK) 13:11, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, I hope you guys get get ahold of an admin. I don't think he'll be active for bit. He knows we'll revert his "work", so he will wait for a time with the least edits. I noticed that with two past vandals I helped deal with. Good luck and may the aura with with you.--PsychicRider 13:14, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi. Hope you don't mind, I stole your "please leave new messages at the bottom of this page" table. Changed colors a little. Thanx. --electAbuzzzz (TALK) 10:14, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

'Kay. It's fine. Can't really do anything to stop you, accept get in an edit war or something.--PsychicRider 19:10, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

I added that Flannery's Jap name is an anagram for sauna. Can u expand for me? I'm gonna b inactive til Saturday in about 15-20 minutes.--KukiTalk 15:53, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

What do you mean? Like add it in the trivia name?--PsychicRider 16:06, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

That, and maybe explan why sauna makes sense--KukiTalk 16:08, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, I think I got it down in the trivia. It's just a reference to real world saunas, being filled with steam, more so then the sand pits...which could be linked to a spa, something that a sauna may be at.--PsychicRider 16:10, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

You want your trades page deleted, too? --ニョロトノ666 20:43, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

I didn't even know I had a trades page. I remember Kuki removed it, I didn't know what he did with it. But, yeah, you can delete it too.--PsychicRider 20:46, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Ca u chek out the trivia I added, and make necessary changes?--KukiTalk 16:28, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Sure thing.--PsychicRider 16:31, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
And... done.--PsychicRider 16:36, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

K, I mean, I could've done that, but it sounded kind of casual--KukiTalk 16:37, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, it was already good, it just needed a link.--PsychicRider 16:38, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

the code

{{subst:User:Shiningpikablu252/TPCD}} MoldyOrange 04:35, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Thank you

for doing the SmokeScreen links. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 03:33, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Your welcome. I saw that page of yours, and I was waiting for Bleach to come on, so why not help.--PsychicRider 03:34, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Just to note something

When an attack with CamelCase appears on a TCG card, it doesn't have the CamelCase. So, on that Cyndaquil card, and any other card with an attack like SmokeScreen, SolarBeam, and BubbleBeam, the attacks need to remain Smokescreen, Solarbeam, and Bubblebeam. MoldyOrange 03:52, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

I've gotten in trouble for the same thing myself. I've just added a note on the relinking page about it, so hopefully, we can avoid this in the future. At any rate, thanks for your help, and sorry for getting you in trouble. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 03:54, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
He's not in trouble, I just told him not to change those ones. MoldyOrange 03:54, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

She is not a straight-forward Ghost-type trainer; she has 2 Pokémon (Arbok and Gol/Crobat) that are not part Ghost. Baby G 13:04, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

And so is Flint, and he is considered a Fire type trainer. It doesn't matter even if three of his others aren't part another type grouping, he is still a fire type trainer.--PsychicRider 13:06, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Can you provide a source where Agatha is called a Ghost-type trainer? Baby G 13:07, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Can you provide a source where she is called isn't called a Ghost trainer, and is instead a Ghost and Poison trainer? And for your question, the Red/ Blue game guide, the Yellow game guide, and the FRLG's game guide. Always saying she is a ghost trainer.--PsychicRider 13:14, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Agatha is, indeed, a Ghost-type trainer. While Poison-type Pokémon dominate her team, the major ones (Weezing, NIdoqueen, etc) aren't there. Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links13:11 7 Sep 2008

Do you...

Do u have admin powers to stop Tyler Karnes?--KukiTalk 22:41, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

No. If I did, he'd be a thing of the past. Unless an admin shows up and blocks him, we'll just have to continually undo his edits.--PsychicRider 22:42, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Not me, bcuz I'm on w/o permission, so I can't be on patrol too long--KukiTalk 22:43, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

OK, then I'll do it until an admin shows up.--PsychicRider 22:44, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

wow we keep tangling up the trivia section on the shopping shipping article

every time one of us makes a change we unknowingly change what the other just did. I hope no one things its a edit war. Yami 22:54, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, but one of us can explain that there where a lot of grammatical errors...which was true. No offense, but I edit it, because, well... those errors are from you. But no offense. --PsychicRider 22:56, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
well some of them are on me some of them are on he insert button. If i press over and put something in sometimes it starts to delete what is ahead of it. I don't know who the genius to put the insert button so close to backspace, delete and home is, but they need to be hung. Some of it also might be Firefox that won't let me remove wards from the dictionary that were added by mistake like taking. Yami 22:59, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
I have Firefox and it shows the mistakes. Just spelling ones, not grammatical ones like the capitalized "Mother" in the shopping shipping article.--PsychicRider 23:02, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Mine shows the spelling mistakes but it does no good if you accidentally press add to dictionary. You'd think they'd give you the option to remove stuff but they don't. Well at least the article is looking fuller now that it has more trivia and more bulk to its main part. Yami 23:05, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, that's why I went Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. And it is looking fuller and developed.--PsychicRider 23:07, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Yo your friends KG and Moldy are reverting my edits left and right without reason. That is one page, and I'm about to go see the other page Yami 23:16, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Please, don't bring this here. I don't control their actions. I'm sorry about it.--PsychicRider 23:19, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
well mooties seem to be on the job. Yami 23:23, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Doing what?--PsychicRider 23:24, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Not sure yet, but Mootie said s/he'd hear me out on this Yami 23:26, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, that's good. Everyone deserves to be heard. It's bad to oppress other people.--PsychicRider 23:28, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Well Mootie isn't an admin but he thinks they might be holding a grudge over the may (game) thing. He's seeing what he can do.
I came back on and multiple edits of mine were undone. Like the shoppingshipping article was undone, not by KG but still without reason. The May's Bulbasuar was undone because i removed her liking flowers because it didn't set her apart from Ash's Bulbasuar, and it looked like it was just stuck their by accident. And KG undone my edit to the trivia on the article for the episode where ash meets max, and isn't really happy with max's smart mouth and enjoys max getting hurt which would be more Sadistic and not Sarcastic even cock would fit better.Yami 23:33, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

That may very well be the case. It may not seem like it since they're admins, but they are human and can have grudges. P.S. Mooties is a girl.--PsychicRider 23:35, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Aww, you remembered! thank you Psychic Rider *hug* oh, i changed the trivia for AG003 because Yami's right, sadistic is the right word. --Mooites Talk to me, baby! 23:40, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
I did, I remember you made it your mission to make it known your were a girl...just like Kuki. And he definitely deserved to have it changed in his favor.--PsychicRider 23:43, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
and whats that supposed to mean? --Mooites Talk to me, baby! 23:45, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
That everyone confused Kuki of being a girl due to his name. No offense to you, though. Although maybe I'm confusing you with someone else. Hmm...--PsychicRider 23:47, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
nope, your right. everyone seems to think 'Mooites' sounds masculine. i guess it does, but what guy in their right mind would call themselves Mooites? its only something some crazy girl, aka Me, would come up with. :P anyway, hopefully everyone is done arguing for the next half-hour, because I have a dog to walk. good luck whoever's the next target of an edit war. --Mooites Talk to me, baby! 23:52, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

actually i thought you were a female. I just use the s/he and he/r for political correctness. Yami 23:53, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the wishing of luck of goodness. I'll just try to mediate it out. Oh, and I think it maybe time to make a new section. This ones kind of getting large.--PsychicRider 23:55, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm warning him right now about posting false information. The page has been deleted, so thanks for letting me know. --PAK Man Talk 14:06, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I saw that you deleted it before I warned you. I was a little late on it.--PsychicRider 14:09, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Oh, I thought you did something else. Anyways, why don't you revert the revert and update one of the Bonzor sprites to Pt?--☆Tavisource 23:25, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
There. That's what I updated, but I figured that they wanted DP sprites with the DP section, and Platinum with Platinum. --PsychicRider 23:29, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
But that was never the case on other pages, so why don't we keep it Pt, it's nice...and it took me two days to upload them all.--☆Tavisource 23:31, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
OK, I started on Cyrus, but I abandoned it to ask the question. I'll get on it. --PsychicRider 23:32, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Sorry about posting my page so much but I'm having trouble getting the italics and bold text to work.

For some reason the screen just displays "Italic Text" Sorry about doing that so much. I'm actually scared to post anything on bulbapedia out of fear I'll end up getting banned for making too many mistakes while editing the pages.
