Message of the Day/Week/Whatever

It's annoying the hell out of me that nowhere on the web can I find the levels of Pokémon other than bosses in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2 dungeons. If anyone can help with this, it would be greatly appreciated. So, that's what I'm doing right now. Cleaning up and adding to PMD2 dungeon articles. Thx for caring.

BTW, make sure to check out the new Signature Policy if you haven't already.

Urgent Notice Okay. I'm a Pokémon TCG player planning to go to the U.S. Nationals. Since online registration for the Origins Game Fair is closed, does that mean I'm f*cked since I haven't registered? Or can I simply register on sight? Is there any way I can guarantee myself a spot in the tournament? Can anybody help? PLEASE?

i need a deoxys

sorry to bother, but does anyone have a deoxys that they could trade me? thank.Darkrai breeder
if anyone asks, my sig. is bloke.
Sorry, I don't have a Deoxys. Oh, and if your sig is "bloke," why don't you just sign using four tildes? One more thing. When adding a talk page comment, simply use the "+" button at the top of your screen. Thanks! --ニョロトノ666 23:09, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

ok,thanks and...uh are there any ways to get deoxys in, oh i dunno..... Firered? thanks. and WHAT are tildes?

Erasing Work

Why in the world did you erase the summary for the Gliscor episode? Didn't you know the summary was confirmed by Pokeani and it was translated for an actual scan. When you edit, be sure to be eiting the right thing because I have no idea why you erased it. ~Maxell

Will you trade with me? I would like a Squirtle or any of the Johto starters. I can give you any of the other Gen I-III starters, or any of the fossil Pokémon, except for Cranidos. File:Ani164MS.gifShinyTalk | ContribsFile:Ani408MS.gifFile:Ani410MS.gif 01:58, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

I would, but I don't have Wi-Fi. My friend does, though, and I might be able to trade with you from there. I have several of the gen. I-III starters and a bunch of fossil Pokémon, all non-hacked. -30pxPolitoed66630px

Hmmm...I'm not exactly sure, but I might. I can't check right now though because I don't have my Pearl game with me. -30pxPolitoed66630px

Then check Shiny Noctowl's talk page for a reply (maybe, just maybe there's one there) instead of giving me attitude when I follow a site's policies.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 02:28, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

i'm not "giving you attitude." I'm just curious, that's all. -30pxPolitoed66630px
Well I seemed to have misinterpreted your wording. "Freakin'" is a pretty powerful implication of attitude.--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 03:12, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
I wasn't implying any wrongdoing on your part. However, I was a little confused at the time. Don't worry about it, though. -30pxPolitoed66630px

Since you apparently know some Japanese, judging by the first section of your userpage, I was wondering what the nickname of the Jolteon I just got on the GTS means. I looked up the symbols on Wikipedia's Kana table, and, from the best I could tell, it was Rai. What does that mean? For future reference, how can I type Japanese characters? File:Ani164MS.gifShinyTalk | ContribsFile:Ani408MS.gifFile:Ani410MS.gif 00:00, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

*suddenly jumps in outta nowhere* I'm pretty sure it's "Thunder" or something electricity related, but I'm not sure... >_>; 281Tina380 00:08, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
So how can I type Japanese characters? File:Ani164MS.gifShinyTalk | ContribsFile:Ani408MS.gifFile:Ani410MS.gif 00:12, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Hmm...I'm not sure about the nickname. It could be a reference to the word samurai, but that's probably not it. I'll look into it further tomorrow. As for typing kanji, I'd say copying and pasting from translators is your best bet, unless you have a special Japanese keyboard. -30pxニョロトノ66630px
Meh, it's probably just "rai" from 雷 (thunder).--Loveはドコ? (talk contribs) 02:45, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

haha, did it bug you enough to the point you had to fix it? lol i was tempted to change it too but it didn't bug me that much. What do you think of the pearl team I'm using? I feel like a nerd, but I guess little things like that do kind of bug me. As for your Pearl team, it's not half bad. And for getting to Galactic Warehouse, go to section 7.0.0 of the walkthrough at this IP address: . By the way, check out the spoilers for PMD2. That game looks awesome. -30pxニョロトノ66630px
holly cow theres a freaking load of items! those treasure chests look pretty fun though. I've been looking at the videos on youtube everyday and it does look pretty great. i kinda like love my team i have now though, which is usually Nidoking, Swampert, and Metang. Nidoking is lethal, i've been pumping him with gummies since he was a nidoran♂ which was 35 levels ago and like 90 dungeons haha. so there are some big changed like no size limit for the party and no more crazy huge dungeons right? --034 Reaper0fAnguish Talk260 00:14, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

My Gold and Silver templates

What's wrong with them? They're just colors like all of them! A lot of people consider those as their favorite colors! I love silver!

Personally, either those two tags should stay, or all of the other tags in that category--and the category those tags are in--should go. That {{User Color}} suggestion is evidence toward deletion. --Shiningpikablu252 23:46, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
To be fair, we'd have to make templates for all these. Do we only have a {{User Favorite}} for Pikachu because a lot of people consider it their favorite? No. We have templates for all of them. By the way, be sure to sign your talk page contributions. -30pxニョロトノ66630px

Card Uploads

now, i know that it isnt hard to search the net and find a pic of the card yur looking for, but it seems as though if it were that easy, somone would have done so. i went into the base set magnemite cards and saw them all there, but in Japanese! i tried to replace them with english pics i have, but i couldnt figure it out. im just wondering what are the requirements for the cards? do they have to be a cirtain size? super high quality? i could go rampant and rip cards left and right off the net. 35pxMAGNEDETH35pxTALK35px 03:14, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

Hmmm...I think the Base Set pics can just be left Japanese. Personally, I think it looks pretty cool. That's just me, though. As for your question, I'll be glad to help. Sorry I couldn't answer sooner, but I had pressing matters . Simply see my response to Kittenchild above. By the way, it's nice to have an active new user. :) -30pxニョロトノ66630px
i can honestly say that Bulbapedia is the best Pokemon site on the net, so considering the amount of time ive put into using the site to my advantage, the only reasonable thing to do is give back to the community. now, i know ive made a lot of Magnemite related changes, but, what do you expect? but i do look at random pages and do this and that, ive also taken it upon myself to redo all the attack tables in the each type. if you wouldnt mind, could you take a look at the Water discussion? after that gets answered i can pretty much finish that. as for the TCG pics, i know of sites that have pics redily available, and i know my way around photoshop, so i can resize them properly. all i need to know is how to upload them. as for your pressing matters , you do what you gotta do, i have a full time job, so im not on all day. (except today because it snowed a lot) 35pxMAGNEDETH35pxTALK35px 22:36, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Okay. I've put in my two cents for the Water discussion, and here's how to upload. First of all, you need to choose the image you want to upload. Once you have the image in the approximate size you want it, simply drag it over to your desktop. Then, make a username on the archives if you haven't already, and click the upload media button toward the lower right of your screen. Once you are on the uploading screen, click browse. Then, go to the desktop option on the small window that pops up, and your image shold be there. Click your image ONCE to highlight it, and click open. Then, under destination filename, type what you want your image to be called. However, you MUST not delete the extension on the file, like ".jpg" or ".gif". Then, click upload. If you have a problem or don't understand, let me know. -30pxニョロトノ66630px
im pretty computer litterate, i know that stuff. i ment that when i go to a page, idk how to add the picture. 35pxMAGNEDETH35pxTALK35px 22:56, 13 December 2007 (UTC)

You're supposed to put in Template:Code when you add in the Noedit template. That's what was wrong. Lol. Tina δ 21:46, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Wait a minute. I don't see any visible difference between what I put in and what you put in. Care to help me understand? -30pxニョロトノ66630px 21:49, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Where the National Pokédex number for the picture is in the template, not the noedit one but the template itself, add in '{{{1|imagenamehere}}}' (replacing imagenamehere with the obvious, of course). That's why the picture wasn't showing up, because the optional-thingy wasn't put in. Tina δ 21:51, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
You know what? Screw this! Feel free to add the Noedit template to all the User Tags you can find, but I'm gonna go do some cleanup. I'm really not cut out for this. *o* -30pxニョロトノ66630px 22:10, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

We don't need the "Versions" part included in the titles of the articles. We all know that "Emerald", "Diamond", "Pearl" are versions; plus, the "Version" doesn't exist in the original Japanese. - Taylor 18:23, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

The moves took place almost a month ago and have since been approved by almost every active notable user here. If you'd like to approach the editorial board about it, that's your decision, but at least hear the reason I made the moves. The full game titles for the main RPG series include the word "version." Although just as many people know that Ash Ketchum's last name is "Ketchum," it's still included in the title. That's just the way an encyclopedia works. --ニョロトノ666 18:28, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

For the record...

Are you actually done with what you needed that signature template for? If you are, just say the word and it's gone. --Shiningpikablu252 02:35, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

I'd like it to stick around. I'm never going to use it or change it again, but it's nicer for it to read "ニョロトノ666" than "Template:User:Politoed666/Sig" or something like that at the end of the messages I did use the template for. I'm being a little unclear, here, so just let me know if you need me to rephrase my reasons why I don't want the template deleted. --ニョロトノ666 02:39, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
You could always just go see what links to "User:Politoed666/Sig" and put 'subst:' in front of all the pages that use it. Tina δ 02:43, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
I'm afraid I don't quite understand. Where do I put "subst:?" --ニョロトノ666 02:46, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Right in front of the colon that's already there. For an example, check the edit history of Category:Toxicroak (TCG). --Shiningpikablu252 02:47, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
But where on the page do I put it? In the signature, so it reads "{{subst:User:Politoed666/Sig}}?" Or do I just put it up at the top of the page? I feel like an idiot. --ニョロトノ666 02:56, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
{{subst:User:Politoed666/Sig}} is what you're looking for. In other words, the template. --Shiningpikablu252 03:01, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
So do I need to go around and manually change all the places I put "{{User:Politoed666/Sig}}" to "{{subst:User:Politoed666/Sig}}"? --ニョロトノ666 17:06, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

If you see any redirect link to Pokémon Red or Pokémon Blue, your best course of action is to leave it alone. The Japanese Generation I pairings are different from the English ones, and the redirects that lead to those disambigs do so for a reason. Japanese Red is paired with a Green while Japanese Blue is their third-version counterpart. English Red and English Blue are paired together. It should not be assumed that anyone looking for one color of the game is automatically looking for the English version. --Shiningpikablu252 21:21, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

I know. I just...forgot, really. I guess I was trying to edit too fast. It won't happen again. --ニョロトノ666 21:24, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Majestic Dawn

From what I've heard, this TCG set will comprise of cards from Japan's DP4 that didn't appear in Secret Wonders and Great Encounters, the Entry Pack '08 DX cards, and some promotional cards, with maybe A FEW Japan DP5 cards mixed in. Therefore, Majestic Dawn should not redirect to Temple of Anger/Cry from the Mysterious since the latter will form the bulk of the US DP6 set (and maybe even the US DP7 set given the source themes for Great Encounters and Majestic Dawn), not the bulk of the US DP5 set. I hope you understand. --Shiningpikablu252 03:04, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Image Deletion

If you want to put an actual image up for deletion, you're going to have to put the {{delete}} code up on the image's page on the Archives. Doing it on Bulbapedia will lead you nowhere. If you really would like to see the crappy Glatra image deleted, there's a spot waiting for it in the large pile of mainly duplicates. --Shiningpikablu252 21:18, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Quick note on Blaine

So the thing about Roark being first is true, at least for anime (since that uses his original version as his real one) - Cassius335 12:06, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

It seems as though you are correct. However, the section must specify that that is only in the anime. --ニョロトノ666 19:40, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

Concerning your "current project"...

You're creating quite a mess of double redirects, since a lot of the redirects you've created redirect to redirects. For example, Ninetails is not only a redirect, but also itself misspelled. Perhaps you should check to see whether a target is a disambiguation page or not BEFORE proceeding with redirect creation, lest someone have to clean up tons of double redirects at the next special page refresh...--Shiningpikablu252 20:23, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

So what you're saying is that I should make sure I'm redirecting to a disambiguation page when redirecting to a Pokémon's name, i.e. Pikachu, but if there is no disambiguation page and I'm redirecting to another redirect, I should simply redirect to that Pokémon's species article in the first place, i.e. Pikachu (Pokémon). Correct? --ニョロトノ666 20:27, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Bingo. --Shiningpikablu252 20:37, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

I made you a present!

It's not actually a present, and it's not just for you. But I still think you'll find Template:Game helpful with your relinking project. You can probably figure this out on your own, but you just type in {{game|GameName}} to get [[Pokémon GameName Version|Pokémon GameName]]. So typing {{game|Crystal}} gets you Pokémon Crystal, and typing in {{game|Gold and Silver|s}} gets you Pokémon Gold and Silver. Note that you need to use the |s when linking to paired versions. I made this template because a lot of people just write {{g|GameName}} or [[Pokémon GameName]] and don't add "version" at the end. With this template, you can go through and replace all those instances with {{game}}, and link to the actual page instead of a redirect without changing the way the page appears or writing out a long, unwieldy link. That's not to say that you'll be the only one doing this; I'll help out when I can. --Martonimos((Talk)) 03:43, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks a bunch! --ニョロトノ666 21:16, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Is it okay if...

For Dusty's page I put something like this instead of its current state?

It's current state is like this:

Which I think my proposed version looks better (although the information won't change much). Just asking because I look forward to working on all of the Colloseum leaders. So... Is it okay if I change it? Rpp 00:38, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Rpp

Actually, I agree with you. Be my guest. --ニョロトノ666 21:16, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Is it also okay if...

(I'm not sure if you're an admin or not but if you are trying to become one, i'll be rooting for you.) Since the creation of my website, ruru poké page (where I get my name), I've been doing SOME coverage on the anime. When it comes out in the U.S. obviously. So... would it be okay if I wrote the synopsis for the DP Battle Dimension episodes based on RPP's synopsis of it or is someone else planning to do so? - unsigned comment from Rpp (talkcontribs)

Sorry to but in, but writing any synopsis is great as long as you know what you're talking about. Porygon-Z 04:05, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
That would be awesome. Whenever you feel as though you can contribute constructively to the information on this site, go ahead! It's (almost) always appreciated. Oh, and I'm not quite an admin, btw.  :D --ニョロトノ666 19:36, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'd know what I'd be talking about. For the first ep. of Battle Dimension, I'd have to change it a bit but it would be decent. Um... I don't know about "Throwing the Track Switch" because my synopsis (though not currently on the site) has alot of dialogue because that is a "rather hard" episode to do without some dialogue in it. Also, I think that you (Politoed 666) should be an admin. Though I don't exactly know if you fit ALL of the requirements, you do help new people (like me, though I don't know if that's required...). Rpp 01:06, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Rpp
Okay. The first one will be crude since my DVR didn't record the first episode and I'm not a very fast writer.
Thanks! I don't really know if I should be an admin or not...there's a couple other users who are just as helpful that haven't yet received that honor. Oh, and by all means, feel free to add the synopses whenever you want! --ニョロトノ666 17:58, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Aren't there upsides to being an admin like banning people (who need a ban). But you could ask an admin to do that anyway... Well, I'll work on the synopsis' but I gotta write them for my site first. Rpp 01:11, 4 May 2008 (UTC)Rpp
See this page for all the perks of being an admin. Oh, and as for the synopses, that's all cool with me. --ニョロトノ666 01:17, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

:New Announcement:

Digital Pokemon Johto

What I mean by Pokemon Johto being digital is the scenes not borrowed from the anime eg (Donphan rolling, Mareep etc.) but scenes when the trio is running in the beginning, Snubbull latching onto Meowth, the 3 Johto starters attacking then sitting around Ash, etc. Even look at Born to Be a Winner for more proof.--KukiTalk 15:49, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

I traced that whole Biology paragraph on Empoleon to Dragonmaster. He hasn't edited since September 1st, when he added that information. And also, he has added more biology info on other pages as well. I think we should check those out. MoldyOrange 02:11, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Shipping articles

Bulbapedia policy is to link to the mainspace redirect rather than the actual articles. --FabuVinny |Talk Page| 00:25, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing Grace, but could u now fix Nicholai? It hasn't been updated ince we've done the Anime teams with Gen IV sprites in tables.--KukiTalk 19:57, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

No problem! If you find any more that need that, just say so! --ニョロトノ666 19:59, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm going through AG right now to see! I'll do EP later.--KukiTalk 20:00, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Found Watt--KukiTalk 20:12, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm logging off for now, but leave me a list of any more trainers you find without the party template, and I'll get to them later today or more likely tomorrow. --ニョロトノ666 20:17, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

First, I put Shuppet Emily (Hoenn)'s page under befriended, and needs fixing--KukiTalk 20:45, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Second, EP002 needs the change of errors and dub edits into subsections than sections

List of Party table "needers"

1. Brodie

2. Vladimir the Attacker

3. Kelly

4. Erica

5. Joshua (coordinator)

6. Robert (Hoenn)

7. Make a section of Robin's page for his Wailord (but no "Robin's Wailord" page)

8. Brianna

9. Create a section for Tommy (Kanto), befriending Kangaskhan.

10. Emily (Hoenn)

11. Kurt

Leadless Links

Sorry for deleting the non-exsistant links from the Seven Treasures article, I didn't consider it would make it easier when the time came that each sperate treasure had it's own page. But wouldn't makin a "List of" page work better in this case? Pip 15:45, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Sorry. I thought I was hitting a different one. Should the other two e's in that paragraph be normal, too? --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 02:59, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Don't worry about it! I think I did that before too. In any case, no, they shouldn't, because the article is quoting the back of the game, and the other two es are acuted there. Sleepy now. Logging off. --ニョロトノ666 03:02, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Weird. Why are people morons? "You are on a quest too stop Groudon (ground) and Kyogre (Ky..rai..wa...something). Be careful not to let all your pokemon die or you will loose the game." --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 03:05, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the compliment on the writing. I'm just expanding upon information given in the Pokédex entries of the Pokémon. Lachynorms 15:14, 16 June 2008 (UTC)LachynormsLachynorms 15:14, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
