The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Great Marsh

...If I'm guessing correctly, I think this is what you're implying is happening...

• For Diamond and Pearl:
  • Pre-National Pokedex...
    • If Golduck appears in an area: Golduck will have an encounter rate of 10%, while Marill and Quagsire will both have encounter rates of 10%.
    • If Marill appears in an area: Marill will have a total encounter rate of 20%, while Quagsire will have an encounter rate of 10%.
  • Post-National Pokedex...
    • Marill and Quagsire will both always have an encounter rate of 10% (in any area). (The changing Pokemon will always fill in the remaining 10% of encounters.)
• For Platinum:
  • Pre-National Pokedex...
    • If Tangela appears in area 6: Tangela will have an encounter rate of 10%, while Wooper will have an encounter rate of 20%.
    • If no Pokemon appears in area 6: Wooper will have an encounter rate of 30%.
  • Post-National Pokedex...
    • Wooper will always have an encounter rate of 20% in area 6. (Same in areas 3-5, and 30% in area 1-2.) (The changing Pokemon will always fill in the remaining 10% of encounters.)
