Welcome to Bulbapedia, Mikoro!
Bulbapedia bulb.png

By creating your account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. Before you jump in, here are some ground rules:

  • Be nice to everyone. It's in the code of conduct.
  • Make good edits. Preview them before you save to make sure they're perfect the first time around.
  • Use wikicode and link templates when adding content to a page.
  • Use proper grammar and spelling, and read the manual of style.
  • You can't create a userpage until you've added to the encyclopedia. It's a privilege. See the userspace policy.
  • Use talk pages to resolve editing disputes. Don't "edit war," or constantly re-edit/undo the same thing on a page.
  • If you have a question about something, be proactive. Take a look at our FAQ. If you're still stuck, ask for help. The staff won't bite.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~). This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links, see the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Meowth (Team Rocket)'s Bite

Please stop changing it to Dark, the note states that it should not be changed to Dark as the move was a Normal type attack during its first use. Masatoshitalk 21:54, 23 September 2012 (UTC)

Personally, I think it should be kept up to date. - unsigned comment from Mikoro (talkcontribs)

Ash's Krookodile's Ability

We do not assume Abilities. Unless it is explicitly stated, we leave it as unknown. Please stop adding it back. Ataro (talk) 23:18, 26 September 2012 (UTC)

Well, what would you guess? Did you see Dragonite's face when Krokorok evolved? And when it Krookodile approached Dragonite with Dragon Claw and Crunch? It's face covered the entire background, and Dragonite didn't move a muscle. Iris was intimidated too! And plus, I didn't put the link version of Intimidate. I put a *. I knew that it was not allowed to assume abilities, but we can't make *'s of hunches? - unsigned comment from Mikoro (talkcontribs)

Okay

This has been said time and time again, do not add Heracross's gender as male. It is not a male unless someone directly says that it is a male in the anime. Gender difference was introduced way after Heracross was introduced. And ash caught Krookodile as a Krokorok not a Sandile so "Krokorok→Krookodile" would be correct.--ForceFire 14:16, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

I understand about Krookodile, but if Heracross were female, wouldn't it's horn have been changed already? If the staff wanted Heracross female, they would have already changed it's horn shape, presumably during it's two appearances in the Lily of the Valley Conference. 11:00, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Ash's Gliscor

We don't know where Gliscor is currently. The "new" opening doesn't confirm that Gliscor is with Oak because Charizard, Squirtle and Primeape were there as well, and the openings are unreliable anyway.--Den Zen 13:54, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

I got a conformation from Nintendo that Gliscor was originally sent to Oak's lab. Plus, I have not seen the new opening. Does it show all of Ash's Pokemon from the other regions? 10:52, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Yes it does; here's the image. Anyway, you must prove that you got a confirmation from Nintendo, especially because they answer fans' questions very rarely.--Den Zen 15:01, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

This wouldn't have been the normal source I got the return of Gliscor from; I have already seen this image on Ash Ketchum's page. Even if this is legit proof, Gliscor is right in the back. 11:02, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

I don't really get what you're saying, but until you have a proof like a screen capture of the answer, the information cannot be changed. Also, I doubt very much that Nintendo would confirm something anime-related since they have basically nothing to do with the Pokémon anime. And by the way, your "signature" is against the Signature policy.--Den Zen 15:16, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Technically, I didn't really mean Nintendo, I just meant the main company that runs the Pokemon anime in Japan, whose name escapes me at this moment. And what's wrong with my signature? 13:05, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

According to the policy I linked above, your signature must have a link to your userpage and reflect your username. You don't actually have signature at all; signing your comment leaves just the timestamp.--Den Zen 17:37, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

I also have a question. In the new opening, it shows all of Ash's Pokemon, even the ones in training. Is it not okay to assume that they have returned without Ash knowing? User:Mikoro 14:38, 16 October 2012 (UTC)

Preview button

The amount of edits you performed on Dennou's MagmaRuby and AquaSapphire page was completely unacceptable. So unacceptable, that I feel this should be your one and only warning to use the preview button. Instead of editing each section separately, please perform more mass edits so you get more done in one single edit as opposed to multiple small edits. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 17:10, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Well, I'm a beginner at coding. Except for Tate and Liza, I did everything at once. I just didn't know how to perfectly format a tag battle template. I had to go back each time until I got it right, and I didn't know about the preview button. But now that I know, you can take my word for it that I will never let this happen again. I will always use the preview button before saving my edits. Mikoro (talk) 13:53, 24 October 2012 (UTC) 13:42, 19 October 12 (UTC)

Other user's Userspace

First of all, let me come up and apologize firstly for not doing a more thorough check on this yesterday. I was preoccupied when I gave you a warning and I merely thought you were fixing broken files. However, it was brought to my attention that you were in fact making your own personal changes to Dennou Zenshi's userspace. That is completely and utterly unacceptable, according to the Userspace policy. If a page is not your own, you have no permission to edit it other than to fix broken file links. However, if you do fix broken file links, it's also suggested that you edit the mainspace as well to counter-balance. You have not made a single mainspace edit for days, nor were you simply fixing files on the page. Also, you blatantly ignored our policy of only one userspace edit per day. You've made a whopping 21 edits to Dennou's page, without his permission no less, and absolutely no mainspace edits. This is absolutely and totally unacceptable. For all of these misdeeds, your userspace privileges have been revoked, and Dennou has passed on his judgement by protecting his article. I suggest you research our policies and follow them. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 12:12, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

WHAAAAAT????? You can't do this to me man! I'm sorry if I'm bad at coding, AND I'm sorry if I didn't read the regulations of Bulbapedia closely enough, but I honestly had no idea! And what gives you the right to revoke someone else's editing rights anyway? Are you part of the staff? Mikoro 8:16, 20 October 12 (UTC)
Yes, actually. Given that only Senior administrators and above have that ability, it should be obvious. I've also made it so you will be forced to use the preview button before saving edits, since you seemed to have trouble using it up until now. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 12:19, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
Well I just figured out that I can still edit, and I honestly don't mind having to use the preview button first. I already apologized to Dennou despite the fact that it might not be worth anything, but what choice had I left? I don't ignore my mistakes. But just so I know, how will I be able to regain my rights to edit without using the preview button? Mikoro 8:24, 20 October 12 (UTC)
Become a better contributor, grow. If you can't ride at first, you get put on training wheels. Once you've mastered your training wheels, then you can have them taken off. When that will be is up to the staff's decision, there is no set time because some people may learn quicker than others, and some may never learn. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 12:34, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
Wait, you didn't tell me I wouldn't be able to make my own page! Dude, this is NOT cool! I was planning on making my page today, but now I can't! And almost every article I have visited is in no need of any edits whatsoever. If all pages stay perfect like this, I'll never be able to make my user page! Isn't there ANY way around this? Mikoro 17:59, 20 October 12 (UTC)
I told you here: "For all of these misdeeds, your userspace privileges have been revoked." Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 22:11, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
NOT helping! And you didn't answer my question. Mikoro 18:25, 20 October 12 (UTC)
Mikoro, there are several things that you can still do to improve the wiki. I would recommend looking at the List of Articles that need improvement and see if there is something that you can do to help an article. There are many articles that need attention, you just need to find what you can do to help. --Super goku (talk) 02:30, 21 October 2012 (UTC)

Dub Episodes

Please avoid editing the episode articles while it is airing. We wait until after it finishes airing so we don't have to edit it so many times. Keep this in mind during future editing. Thanks, --Pokemaster97 12:57, 20 October 2012 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Removing talk page comments, including the initial welcome template, is prohibited per Bulbapedia's talk page policy. Please do not remove any comments in the future. If you wish to clean old comments away, you should archive your talk page instead. Thank you! --Den Zen 14:23, 23 October 2012 (UTC)

Listen, Dennou. This is ALL starting to aggravate me. I am ANNIHILATING myself to get my userspace rights back, but all I get from administrators is lip and "constructive" criticism. I will not delete the section in your talk page, but all I give a darn about right now is having my userspace rights reinstated. I have perfect ideas for my page, but I can't get past this block that was dumped on me. But if you are really this anti passionate about everything that has happened throughout the last week, then I will just let you live your lucky Bulbapedia administrator life. I hope you are satisfied, and you will not have to worry about me pestering you anymore. Mikoro 10:29, 23 October 12 (UTC)
Sorry to butt in here but users who just want to edit their userspace annoy me. Bulbapedia is a wiki, not a social networking site to just add all your Pokémon history into. It is primarily for the articles and chances are that next to no one will even view your userpage anyway. You should focus on building content. I would recommend that you read the policies linked in the welcome message at the top of this page. They will give you some idea of what you can and cannot do on Bulbapedia. Complaining about it and shouting about it won't help your case and will just damage it even more. ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 16:46, 23 October 2012 (UTC)
Solar Dragon, this does not involve you. I may have said that the main reason I signed up for this website was so I could contribute my ideas, but that doesn't mean I don't want to help build Bulbapedia up as well. If contributing ideas was ALL I wanted to do, I could use many other sources on the internet, but I chose this one because I could contribute my ideas AND help build it up. And I have made many useful edits, all of which have been tragically ignored and have not regained me my userspace rights. Mikoro 12:53, 23 October 12 (UTC)
Please try not to leave pointless messages on talk pages. If you'd like to talk more openly with me, you can contact me on the forums. Talk pages aren't meant for idle chit chat. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 05:06, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

User privileges

Okay, Mikoro. I'm going to lay some things out on the table just so hopefully you can see things the staff's way, and I'm going to do this as nicely as I can. This is so you're aware of why your user privileges were taken away. First of all, you're currently trying to get people to notice that you made a big contribution to the AG066 page. You're right, you did, but that was two edits, and you've also made twenty-four edits to user talk pages since then, mostly telling people you made one edit. People see you made your edit, they aren't ignoring it. They just also can't ignore the other non-mainspace edits you've made.

You aren't the first user to have their privileges taken away. Some have gained them back, and the ones that do regain them typically make thousands of edits, and they don't bring up their punishment again until having made thousands of edits. I hope that will possibly answer your "how to I get my user editing rights back?" question. Make lots of edits. You also seem to be lacking on knowledge of how the site works, or our policies. I suggest you study them. You're expected to follow them, and therefore are expected to know them.

Next, overall edits. Total, you've made 59 mainspace edits, 66 usertalk edits, and 21 userspace edits (all on a userpage that wasn't your own) all of which were within roughly the same time period. When you first arrived, you edited the mainspace a lot, granted you made a lot of mistakes, you still made edits. Once you got your userspace privileges, that pretty much came to a screeching halt, and all you cared about was the userspace. That's where we hit our problem. It's okay to like the userspace, it's not alright to obsess over it and have it be your only concern. You must care for and edit the mainspace as well. When you say you made your AG066 edit to prove you should be allowed to edit your userspace, to the staff that sounds like, "I only edited the page so I could edit my userpage!" Other staff, and hardworking users have answered your questions, and done their best to guide you, but you don't seem to be listening to any of them, and simply go to other talk pages hoping someone else will tell you what you want to hear. People are giving you this advice to help you to get to where you want to be (editing the userspace), and it's my job as staff to make sure user's questions are answered, but I also have to abide by our policy, even if that makes the user unhappy sometimes. If you're sick of talking to me though, I'll back off, and another staff member will try to talk to you. But be warned, they're likely going to tell you the exact same thing.

To sum it up: you need to make more mainspace edits, listen to your peers, be respectful, stop worrying about the userspace, and stop spamming talk pages about your edit. It starts to look like harassment after a while. Do that, and you should be okay. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 14:35, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

Email reply

The user Mikoro2 shared the same IP address as you and only registered yesterday. Unless someone used your computer yesterday, it's fairly obvious you made a second account. Please don't lie and say you were framed, just don't do it again. Simple as that. All users are only permitted to have one account. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 15:57, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

I accidentally blocked the IP address too. You should be alright now. Sorry about that. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 16:10, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Oh, it was an accident. Okay. I thought you did it on purpose. Thanks. Mikoro (talk) 17:03, 24 October 2012 (UTC) 13:03, 24 October 12 (UTC)
Look Jo, I'm sorry about everything I have done so far. I have studied all the regulations of Bulbapedia, and I now understand what I can and cannot do in regards to rules and other things. I now understand exactly what I need to do to get my userspace rights back, but I just have a few questions. The block policy said that administrators can set timed blocks. How much time did you put on my block? AND I read about different kinds of blocks. What kind of block do I have? One more question: do I literally have to make THOUSANDS of edits to reinstate my userspace rights? And for the record, what's with your crush on Cilan? Mikoro (talk) 17:18, 24 October 2012 (UTC) 13:17, 24 October 12 (UTC)
Timed blocks are for people who, to put it simply, need a time-out. They're decent enough users, but they made a big mistake and need to sit in a corner for a while. You weren't supposed to be blocked, so I completely got rid of yours. Yours WAS an IP block. I blocked Mikoro2, and because you and Mikoro2 share an IP, you also felt the effects of the block. The Mikoro2 account is currently blocked indefinitely which means it will need to manually be unblocked.

Eh, or hundreds. Basically, you need to really become an active member of the community. But you should also remember quality beats quantity. Fewer edits that are all really well made and needed will get you more points (I'm speaking metaphorically, there's not really a point system) than thousands of crappy edits that just end up being undone.

Cilan's ridiculous and silly, and he amuses me. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 17:54, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
I'm sorry; that word in the second paragraph you used was completely unacceptable. The regulations strictly prohibit cussing on Bulbapedia. I know I'm not an administrator, but I can still assert the rules. Mikoro (talk) 18:04, 24 October 2012 (UTC) 14:04, 24 October 12 (UTC)
Hahahaha there's no rule against swearing in general. Not to mention "crap" is a pretty tame swear. Swearing is a problem when it's targeted at a specific user, or if it's used in excess. I wasn't targetting anyone, and I only said it once. (Well I guess twice now.) Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 18:13, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Then the discussion harassment page lied? And I was actually referring to my userspace ban. Mikoro (talk) 18:16, 24 October 2012 (UTC) 14:16, 24 October 12 (UTC)
You mean the Code of conduct? "Refrain from using profanity in a matter that is derogatory or directly offensive." Don't call people profane names or use profanity towards them. "Profane rants are absolutely unacceptable." Don't do it in excess. "However, the use of "swear words" is not inherently problematic if used to prove a point or otherwise contribute to the betterment of the wiki." Swearing in general isn't a big deal. I'm not sure what other instances I would have sworn on your talk page. I'm pretty good about keeping myself at a PG-13 rating here. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 18:22, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
Well okay then....... boy, you sure seem to be a wild girl. That wasn't an insult, it was more of an "indirect complement", if you know what I mean. But seriously, does my block have a remaining time or is it permanent until manually removed? Mikoro (talk) 18:25, 24 October 2012 (UTC) 14:25, 24 October 12 (UTC)
Again, you aren't blocked. The other account is. If you're sending messages on this talk page, you are not blocked. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 18:29, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
And again, I'm referring to the userspace block! Mikoro (talk) 18:31, 24 October 2012 (UTC) 14:30, 24 October 12 (UTC)

Oh. Yes that will stay until someone takes it off. Same with the forced preview. Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 18:35, 24 October 2012 (UTC)

Okay, thanks. So in the meantime, I will make all the useful edits I can. Thanks for letting me know what I can do! Mikoro (talk) 18:38, 24 October 2012 (UTC) 14:37, 24 October 12 (UTC)

Georgia's Beartic

You have to ask to be able to create the page, specifically, you have to ask Kenji Girl. Secondly someone has already got the page in the works, all it needs is approval by Kenji Girl. Thank you for reading.--ForceFire 03:51, 22 November 2012 (UTC)

Understood. But where would I find all pages that are in the works? I have already attempted to make a page for Alder's Bouffalant but The Great Butler already has it in the works. I want to know where I can find all pages that are in the works. Mikoro (wanna talk?) 17:12, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
You can use this search function to search only the userspace. --Abcboy (talk) 17:21, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
All Pokémon character articles in userspace are listed here, though some of them are fictional Pokémon.--Den Zen 17:27, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
Thanks guys. I have found out that no one has a page in the works for Burgundy's Dewott, so I will ask Kenji-girl if I can make it. Mikoro (wanna talk?) 17:29, 22 November 2012 (UTC)
I'm 99% sure Beartic has to be approved sooner or later (the article just needs a bit more expansion, particularly since that guy just copied & pasted from the infobox on Georgia's page), so I wouldn't be all that concerned. I have to ask though, why are people making pages for Pokémon that don't even exist? The Leavanny one, for example, just looks like a big waste of space to me. GamerGeek 18:36, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
People just want to make things up. They do not have to contain official Pokémon, so anyone can put anything they want to. Mikoro (wanna talk?) 18:48, 23 November 2012 (UTC)
Well, like ForceFire indicated above, creating new pages for anything anime-related needs approval by Kenji-Girl, and I doubt she'd make a place for characters that don't even exist. BTW, your signature is missing the link to your talk page. GamerGeek 01:13, 25 November 2012 (UTC)
Burgundy's Dewott IS a real Pokémon, and my signature DOES include a link to my talk page, unless you meant to say user contributions. Mikoro (wanna talk?) 01:48, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
I know, I wasn't talking about Dewott. As for your signature, it only has a link to your userspace (which doesn't even exist), so you should recheck the "wanna talk?" part of it (that should have the link to your talk page). GamerGeek 02:28, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
It's because you're on the talk page... --Abcboy (talk) 02:33, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Oh sorry, I somehow didn't realize why. *slaps forehead* GamerGeek 02:38, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
My user page doesn't exist because Jo The Marten revoked my userspace rights. Mikoro (wanna talk?) 17:22, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Oh, sorry about that. GamerGeek 23:09, 26 November 2012 (UTC)
Don't worry about it, everybody makes mistakes. Mikoro (wanna talk?) 00:40, 27 November 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I understand. Personally, I'd suggest looking at the List of Articles that need improvement and see if there is something that you can do to help an article. There are also many articles that need attention, you just need to find what you can do to help. GamerGeek 02:27, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

Super goku already gave me those links, and right now my goal is to make every single anime episode article that has incomplete synopsis's complete, except for the ones that didn't air in the United States. Mikoro (wanna talk?) 14:42, 27 November 2012 (UTC)

If you want to look at the synopsis's I fixed, visit these pages. These pages had incomplete synopsis's before, but I fixed them. I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 19:05, 28 November 2012 (UTC)
Both look pretty good; I'll be doing the same when I get more free time. GamerGeek 00:22, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. If I had more free time myself, I would probably have already cleared that list right up, but I've just been so busy lately with school, and work, and everything. As soon as I get my userspace rights reinstated I will make the changes I have always wanted to to that, then counter-balance with more mainspace edits so as not to lose them again. I am also aiming to become an administrator, and I think I have made adequate progress so far. I'm sorry if I have bored you so far, but thanks for listening anyway (if this was the case)! I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 12:43, 4 December 2012 (UTC)
You could easily make a lot of mainspace edits just by providing synopses for episodes which don't have them yet, or just editing an already existing one, even if it's just a spelling or grammatical error (which I've seen in a few places). It shouldn't be too difficult, though you may need to get the extra time to do so.
Bringing this back to the original topic, the article for Georgia's Beartic is (pretty much) completed, it just needs to be approved, and, if it does (which it should be), mainspaced. And I don't think Burgundy's Dewott deserves its own page, since it's only battled (and lost) in both of its appearances. GamerGeek 10:04, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
Good point..... but I'm sure Burgundy's Dewott will get more appearances in the future. Anyhow, I do have good time on Saturdays for the airings of new episodes, so your idea shouldn't be too much of a problem for me. As for Georgia's Beartic, I understand. But I've just been so busy with school, and work, and chemotherapy.... I have a pretty full plate. In fact, the only real available free time I have is on vacations from school, AND work, and when my skin cancer fluctuates at a less serious rate to the point where I will not need chemotherapy for a while. Also, my birthday is coming up and I have a pretty long Christmas vacation. My birthday is on Christmas day, so that may be a good time to get serious about mainspace editing. I am Mikoro (wanna talk?) 14:52, 5 December 2012 (UTC)
