Thank you for joining our community! By creating an account you are now able to edit pages, join discussions, and expand the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia. This is a brief introduction to Bulbapedia's rules and resources to help you get started:

  • All users are expected to follow the code of conduct and to be kind to one another.
  • If you have a question, check out our FAQ; the manual of style provides detailed editing guidance, and the wikicode page provides details about how to use wikicode.
    • You can always ask for help by contacting a staff member.
  • Please preview your edits before saving them; this helps you double-check your changes and reduces the need for repeated minor edits.
  • Use talk pages to discuss changes and resolve editing disputes.
  • Creating a userpage is allowed after you've added to the encyclopedia; for more details, see the userspace policy.
  • Sign all talk page posts with four tildes (~~~~) so people know who is commenting. This will turn into your name and the time you wrote the comment.
  • For more handy links and information, check out the welcome portal.
Thank you, and have a good time editing here!

Glitchmons

The glitch Pokemon C POKé4's name stands for 'Crash game POKé4'. Kirbychu Showdown(User talk:Kirbychu Showdown) - Glitched Scientist 19:29, 20 September 2021 (UTC)

Signature

The link to your user page in your signature is wrong, that's why it's red. It should be {{u|Kirbychu Showdown}} rather than [[Kirbychu Showdown]] glikglak 23:53, 20 September 2021 (UTC)

The Preview Button

Instead of editing a page several times in a row, try using the preview button to make sure your edit looks the way you want it to. It's right next to the Save Page button. Please try it out, so as not to clog up the Recent Changes. Also, if you want to edit multiple sections of the page, make sure that you click "edit this page" at the top of the page rather than editing it by section. Thanks! --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 15:51, 22 September 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for the info. I will use it a lot in the future. Hi, I'm Kirbychu Showdown(User talk:Kirbychu Showdown) - Glitched Scientist-Find me on Pokemon Showdown! My name there is Pichu Smol (subject to change) 15:53, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
You're still making multiple consecutive edits on single pages. Please try to avoid them. --FinnishPokéFan92 (talk) 19:21, 22 September 2021 (UTC)
I'll try. It would come in handy, say, when I'm editing a Glitch Pokémon's page because SOMEBODY didn't use disptype1=Fire and disptype2=Normal when making the page for ?????(FC), who is a Fire/Normal-type Pokémon and should have the Weakness and Resistances of a Fire/Normal-type and Section Box type indicators for Fire and Normal, as well as making STAB moves bolded sense both Fire and Normal are valid types. Also RBGlitchNameF9.png needed to have a "evolution" added that is MissingNo. at level 224 but I couldn't figure out how to make it show the Rare Candy icon and say level 224 underneath that, so I may have a few pages saying I was editing them but no edits were made due to me needing to see how you got the Evolution method to show. Still, thanks for reminding me of the Preview Button. I'd also like to say thank you to everybody who helped me learn more about Talk Pages and Editing. Talk page comments

Please do not respond to talk page comments that are over 6 months old, as the discussion may either be solved or the original poster is no longer around to see your response, rendering it pointless. If you want to revive a long dead topic, create a new section. Also, do not edit other user's comments to fix typos or grammar errors, leave them as they are. Thank you.--ForceFire 16:48, 22 September 2021 (UTC)

STAB

Just a heads up (and apologies if you already know all this by now), the correct way to add STAB to a Pokémon's learnset is generally this:

{{learnlist/tm2|TM02|Headbutt|Normal|70|100|15||'''}}

with the formatting passed as a parameter to the template, rather than this:

{{learnlist/tm2|TM02|'''Headbutt|Normal|70|100|15'''}}

as I noticed you've done with a couple of glitch Pokémon learnsets. The latter format will actually break the link to the move.

I say "generally" as it may vary slightly from template to template, but this is usually how it's done. Don't be afraid to look at other pages for examples, and don't forget to use the preview button to make sure everything's in order before saving. Happy editing!--Cold (talk) 17:44, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
