Maurice

If it's real, then YOU ARE MY HERO. Do you know Maki and Dai's dub names too, then? --Maxim 08:26, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

In fact, Where the hell did you get the names anyway? --Force Fire 08:28, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
One of the other members looked up the guy who voiced him, Joshua Swanson, and it said he played Maurice on The Rise Of Darkrai. Well I know Dai is voiced by Bill Rogers so it couldn't be him. That's why it must be Katsumi who is Maurice. Unfortunately, I can't figure out what Maki and Dai's dub names are. --ケンジガール 08:44, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
According to my sources he's Maury, not Maurice. But I still can't find out Maki & Dai's dub names. Someone should really try the DVD Subtitles. --Maxim 09:03, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

Anime pics

If I try to open the file in Windows Movie Maker, it says that the file type isn't supported. (It's a .ifo file.) --Shiny Noctowl 23:23, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

A what file?--ケンジガール 23:37, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
.ifo is the file type used for DVDs (At least, that's what DVD Shrink saved it as when it ripped it from the DVD; I don't know if that's what it was originally.). --Shiny Noctowl 23:39, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
Well I don't know anything about the rules for that file. I can't help you there. I'm just use to AVI files. Those are how all my Pokémon episodes are saved.
How did you get them saved like that? --Shiny Noctowl 23:46, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
I didn't. They came that way from the torrent programs I used. --ケンジガール 01:52, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Where'd you download them from? (I just ripped them straight from the DVD, but they're in the wrong format.) --Shiny Noctowl 01:58, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
From websites like btjunkie. But you need to download a BitTorrent program first like Azureus. --ケンジガール 02:02, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Thanks. I got it downloading, now I just have to wait for the torrent to finish extracting/downloading/whatever-it-does-to-make-an-actual-file-from-the-torrent (which could take a while, since the ETA is currently about 4 days, although it'll probably drop dramatically after a little bit). --Shiny Noctowl 02:06, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Alicia's English VA

There seems to be some confusion regarding Alicia, Alice's grandmonther, and who her voice actress is. I'm absolutely positive that it's Kayzie Rogers, who's recently rejoined the PUSA cast, despite not being credited in this movie. There have been cases where some of the VAs weren't credited in a film and yet were still credited here on Bulbapedia. Citing an example, Destiny Deoxys only listed the core cast as listed in the TV episodes in its credits, leaving out Mike Pollock as the narrator, Tara Jayne/Sands as Tory, Sean Schemmel as Prof. Lund, Lisa Ortiz as Rebecca, etc. And yet we've granted it as fact that they did in fact voice those characters despite not being credited. Certainly mistakes can and will be made, but I think it's necessary to utilize research and common sense as much as actual evidence. After all, Emily Williams was credited here for voicing Infernape's trainer, and yet her name never appeared in the credits; it likely has to have been that Elisabeth Williams person, whoever that could be. :P Shift 01:58, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

You can't go by what 4Kids did. They were idiots and they probably forgot to add them in. So far PUSA has added the names of every actor who participated in episode/movie. Unless Kayzie Rogers is Khristine Hvam then she's probably not in the movie. There were no other females listed in the guess character section besides her and Elisabeth Williams. And your right, that is Emily Williams. It says that is one of her aliases on her profile. The other women that are listed are those in the main character section are Sarah Natochenny, Michele Knotz, and Emily Jenness and I doubt one of them voice Alicia. I think it's either Khristine Hvam or Emily Williams. But right now, it can't be determined. --ケンジガール 08:16, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
Actually, there were a few early episodes on season 9 that had extra VAs credited when there were none used, like in Reversing the Charges. Plus, in Harley's first season 9 appearence, he was obviously voiced by Billy Regan and credited as such in future episodes, but the only credited VA in that ep was Sonny Dey, who had previously been solely credited in Greta's episode. This clearly shows that 4Kids aren't the only ones capable of oversights. The eps in question were from when TAJ was just starting out on the season, so it stands to reason that DuArt is equally capable of such an oversight just starting out. The other issue is that there's no indication that Khristine Hvam is Kayzie Rogers, judging from the resume and demo reels on Hvam's website. The only other female VA in the extra credits is Elisabeth (Emily) Williams, who is assumed to have voiced the Infernape trainer, leaving Hvam with only Alice or Alicia, as it'd be a major stretch to suggest she voiced them both (with 2 versions of each character, to boot). Judging from said demos, I'd have to say it's Alica and not Alicia. The fact is, unless we get confirmation from Kayzie herself or another member of the production who'd know, we'll never get actual proof either way. In the event no one can be reached, what'll we do? Leave it open ended forever? I'd hope not. I say we take a shot at contacting Hvam, someone from DuArt, and/or Kayzie herself (is that her with her screenname on here?), and if they provide an answer, it'll be official. If they don't, what do you suggest? Shift 03:38, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I've e-mailed both Khristine Hvam (to confirm she voiced Alice and not Alicia) and Tim Werenko, DuArt's dubbing producer, around a week ago. Neither has replied, and I'm not sure how long I ought to wait. Unless you know of anyone else to try contacting, or can contact Kayzie herself, I'll be re-adding her credit on the grounds that all the credited females have roles claimed, that Alicia is the only one unidentified, that she sounds exactly like all of Roger's little girls roles (as well as her older self like all of Roger's elderly roles), and the credo "If a bird looks like a duck..." This I'll do Monday night unless proven otherwise.

This is what's going on.

The admins have been given orders to delete anything not having to do with Bulbapedia from talk pages and user talk pages. -Sketchies 20:58, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

Well please tell that to Sailor Earth. Appearently he doesn't get it. And if there's nothing on the page, I should put a delete tag on it right? --ケンジガール 20:59, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

I understande the goons, I mean admins, have been sent out to destroy anything non Bulbapedia in their crackdown on user edits, but I don't get why you have to delete DCM's page, it's been blanked, but it's still a talk page, what if you need to talk to DCM about something Bulbapedia, new users have talk pages with nothing on them. Guardian of Earth 21:05, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Start a new one DUH! If it's about bulbapedia then start a new page. DMC just had his talk page deleted. I don't know what kind of idea you had about Bulbapedia when you joined, but it's not for chatting with your friends. --ケンジガール 21:11, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

There's no reason to have the page if there's no content on it. And if they need to talk to DCM about something, they can recreate his page (shock and surprise!). --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 21:12, 14 June 2008 (UTC)

You have a tell.

Whenever you are wrong and know you are wrong and trying to argue your way out of a situation only digging yourself further into a trap you resort to that old cliché of how long you have been here and the absolutely amazing edits you make.

Well it's getting a little boring to have someone shouting on and on about making so many edits. Seriously in your world does the length of time you have been somewhere mean you are always right about it.

So in Kenji's world Mugabe should be president of Zimbabwe because he's been president longest.

And for things like the grammys no point basing it on talent just on who's been trying to get a career in entertainment the longest.

Hell there is no point for a Presidential election just give it McCain as he has been on Earth the longest.

Here you go again SE. Talking about nonscence. I'm saying that in the 1 and a half month span that you have been here, you've broken more rules than I have in my 1 and a half YEAR span. Also what I've seen, your a hypocrite. Running to Sketchies and telling him about peoples talk page comments when you don't even say anything about all the stupid content that's on your own. When someone like you, who has made a billion mistakes already, tells me to learn the rules and look stuff it, of course I'm going to get upset and argue with you. Cause your a damn hypocrite. If you did some amazing edits and were a rule follower then maybe I'd be a little more respectful when you give me advice.
Oh and BTW, this was the only time I've ever brought up my time here on BP during an argument so I don't know how it's my "tell". --ケンジガール 04:16, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
Sailor, please, give it a rest. You've already performed the amazing feat of getting Optimus35 to be nice to you; can't you just quit while you're ahead? I've been incredibly lenient towards you throughout everything, but that's looking more and more like a mistake. Quit picking on Kenji. Now. Harassing others is what got a certain Frazer Ketchum blocked; don't think it won't apply to you, too. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 05:35, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
I'm nice enough. Seriously, Sailor Earth, get a life. You clearly have no idea how to create a table without referring to another. What kind of experience is THAT? When KG talks about her edits, she's talking about EXPERIENCE. Not 'oh I deed a gazillion edits so bow down to me' but 'I did plenty of edits and used the preview button. You should listen to me as I have more experience that you." You're the freakin idiot going around causing four hundred and ninety-three riots, not KG. It's the Θρtιmαtum♏Talk|Links11:16 20 Jun 2008

It's probably best off if everyone left this subject alone for a bit... I can't see anything worthwhile being gained of all this. If you find yourself annoyed, or angry, about another user, it's probably best for all parties to just avoid each other. Sailor Earth, go ahead and continue pointing out non-bulbapedia conversations, but have some tact; don't go provoking anyone. If you think someone is a problem, tell someone else, don't confront the user about it. And the same goes for everyone else.

Spring and Summer

So, what? Both PokeAni and Pokesho have mistaken them? Very unlikely. I think the one who mistook them is YOU. --Maxim 08:23, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

All I know is that the one with the pig-tails said her name is Spring/Haru and the other girl was Summer/Natsu. Those to sites are connected to each other so it's very likely that one got the wrong information and the other followed. Go watch the episode if you don't believe me. Oh and weren't you the one that told me that Pokeani was a fansite and that they make mistakes? Being a little hypocritical now aren't we? --ケンジガール 08:49, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
No, we aren't. I just don't believe in random informations from their forums, but I do believe in what they post on main site. But it may be possible what you say, that Pokesho made a mistake and Pokeani probably oversaw it. --Maxim 09:10, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
Well just to let you know, the stuff I put always came from there main site, never from their forums. Though I realize, sometimes Pokeani is wrong. This is one such instance. I mean, they put Paul's English name as "Pail" for a while. --ケンジガール 09:13, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

Characters voiced by Sarah Natochenny

Sarah's Myspace page as been updated, and it says that she does indeed voice Staravia. She also voices quite a few characters that we mistook as being voiced by Michele Knotz. Trainer-c 11:36, 4 July 2008 (UTC)

Voice Acting Collaboration?

Look, I've been feeling a bit of animosity between our understandings of the voice actors and actresses and the way we express our views. I certainly feel I know quite a bit about who's who in that field, and I'm sure you feel likewise about yourself. Perhaps what's called for is a collaboration, where we can work out our separate opinions before adjusting the pages about VA-related info. Please let me know if you'd be interested. Shift 07:35, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

I am not being a hypocrite...

All right, Kenji-girl, I was not being a hypocrite with that. There's a BIG difference between saying something that occurs in the future when you aren't of a high level of importance anymore and saying something that involved the PAST where he was still a significant figure. Now, if I didn't add in the Misty thing because of this, but added in the fact that Pidgeot, Butterfree, Lapras, Haunter, Larvitar, and Primeape will appear in the future despite the fact that it clearly is against what I said in regards to Misty, then, yes, I would DEFINITELY be a hypocrite, but I didn't, so don't act like I am one just because I supported the Tracey thing (which that and the Misty thing are different circumstances). Weedle Mchairybug 15:45, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

So what if its a past and future thing, big deal. That's why I moved it to trivia. Only he said it and no one else so I don't know what you're freaking out about. Maybe Misty won't come back, maybe she will. Maybe Tracey wasn't added because they were afraid of what Americans thought of Brock, maybe he was. It isn't fair to denote information stated by someone who works on Pokémon just because you feel it isn't true and that its not note worthy because he's a storyboard artist or whatever. That's being selfish. Don't play the "Oh it's different circumstances" card because Misty is your favorite character and you don't want to hear it. I bet if he said Misty was coming back you would be premoting what he said even though he is a storyboard artist and it would be a future event. Misty's voice actress also said she'd be returning to the anime WHICH HASN'T HAPPENED yet we mention it in her article. It should stay. It's only fair. --ケンジガール 19:58, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
No, it is of different circumstances. Believe me, If I WAS what you claimed me to be in that section, I would have edited Ash's Butterfree, Ash's Pidgeot, Sabrina's Haunter, Ash's Primeape, Ash's Larvitar, and Ash's Lapras to say that they will be returning just because the guy said so, because I DO want them to return, but I didn't despite my wanting them to return, since, you know, it's a future event so it doesn't hold ANY grounds on wikipedia. I'm not objecting to what you added in, since at least you made it neutral (Just as I tried to do with the VA section), but rather, the MANNER that you did it in I objected to. Besides, you objected to Tracey's reason for existing being placed in the article since you were a Tracey fanboy, so what you did there is no different to what I did, so If I was selfish in that case, you also were as well. don't label me as selfish if you aren't willing to accept that you, too were selfish in the case of Tracey's article. Besides, Misty isn't even my favorite character (heck, I don't even HAVE a favorite character. Just because I'm a fan of said character doesn't mean they are my favorite character)
Also, you seem to be under the belief that If i should do it to one thing, i should do it towards ALL things, and while I do agree with you for the most part, the whole "Past, Present, and future" aspect doesn't really apply. what I didn't do with the Misty article, Ash article, Pikachu article, and the released pokemon's articles is no different than you guys not allowing Dawn's Swinub to have it's own article until it's debut, Ash's Gligar not being changed to Ash's Gliscor until the episode that it evolved aired, and not placing any trivia/plot sections of the episodes until they were released. So if I was selfish for trying to do that, then the entirety of Bulbapedia's staff was selfish for that as well. Weedle Mchairybug 20:24, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
You think I didn't want it in the article because I was a "Tracey fanboy"? First of all, I'm a girl. Second of all the only reason I objected to it because I thought the information was false. But I found the actual article were he said this so I didn't remove it. I didn't do what you did and just take it out of the article. Fans HAVE THE RIGHT to know what Hidaka said about Misty. They have a right to know what he said about Tracey. That's why I left it. You on the other hand new what Hidaka said about Misty and chose to remove it hiding what he said from the fans.
We are noting it because someone who worked on the Pokémon staff said it. And future events DO HOLD when someone who works in Pokémon mentions something. It's not like he's just some other Pokémon fan that would just enter random information in. HE WORKS ON POKÉMON. What he has to say has some degree of mentioning whether it happened or not. Also if future grounds don't hold on Bulbapedia, than we should take out what Iizuka said about Misty returning as well. Also there would be tons of other articles that would need to be removed as well, like the Platinum article. There are some future events that we can make. I also moved what he said about Misty to trivia so it wouldn't be part of the main article. I was thinking about the people who might of been offended by what he said. --ケンジガール 03:09, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
Fine, however, I'm glad it's mentioned in the trivia section and is worded in such a way that makes it abiguous (The only reason I objected to it and acted as though we shouldn't trust it is because a certain someone {[Cough]Cyber[Cough]} said it in a way that made it seem as though it was absolute truth (that and the fact that he went as far as to remove the controversy article just to make it seem like absolute truth.).). Even when I added in the Mayumi Iizuka quote to the trivia section, I made absolute certain that I was ambiguous about whether it was confirmed or not.

2 Things

1. PIA-KANTO! It was Misty's Gym!

2. DP088- AG015 Ripoff??

--KukiTalk 22:09, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Ok, for your first point, no, the PIA isn't just Kanto, it's also Johto and Hoenn as well (for Johto, it's because Mr. Goodshow hosted the Silver conference (I don't really remember if he was also the host of the Ever Grande Conference, but I will guess that), and Hoenn, well, PIA inspector Joy explicitly mentioned that she was going to hoenn to inspect their gyms, so it's a given that the PIA would also run hoenn as well.). If it was a given that Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn were run by the PIA, whose to say that Sinnoh isn't run by it?
As for your second point, maybe, though some might argue that it's a ripoff on the Ultimate test as well.

Thanks a lot you guys. It means a lot ^^ *hugs* No I don't have an AIM. Sorry. --ケンジガール 00:22, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
No AIM and no e-mail listed, you are hard to contact in private...
Well, I'm glad that you are an admin, I always thought you should be one before I ever was. Congrats!!! MoldyOrange 00:24, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
I always thought you were one *scratches head*Emperor's Cookies 00:25, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
But guess what...I beat you by hours!!! MoldyOrange 00:29, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Wait, what?Emperor's Cookies 00:30, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
TTE made me an admin after the first half on the vandal attack was over because I helped clean-up afterward; and later, about 4 hours later, the last half of the vandal attack happened and he gave the other three people administration so that they could help him clean-up. MoldyOrange 00:35, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

But he ended up shutting down Bulbapedia so we couldn't do anything. --ケンジガール 00:37, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

I see....Well congrats anyway.Emperor's Cookies 00:38, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

...

I wanted to do that MoldyOrange 02:04, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry ^^; Maybe next time. --ケンジガール 02:05, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Sniped.As a wise man once told meDCM 02:06, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
YOu were here when the vandal hit. What did he do?DCM 02:09, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
He salvaged the site after the first set of attacks. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 02:11, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
No, the vandalDCM 02:11, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
First: moved pages claiming a "Unicode problem" Second: made the origional page a redirect so that they pages couldn't be moved back. Third:created about 15 accounts, some did nothing, others attacked, and that was the first half of the attack. MoldyOrange 02:13, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Then he started saying he was doing it because Bulbapedia doesn't allow anonymous users edit. He said he was a "freedom fighter". If he only knew what real freedom fighters go through, I doubt he'd wanna be one. --ケンジガール 02:16, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
You have to wonder about someone who dedicates that much time and energy to getting anonymous edits allowed on a site where, esentially, we're all anonymous already. Does he seriously have nothing better to do? --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 02:23, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Guess not. --ケンジガール 02:44, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Sounds like someone has too much time on his hands.......... ah vell, thanks for the infoDCM 02:46, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Question

Do you know why TTE is looking for a person who lives in Alaska or Hawaii?--CoolPikachu! 09:10, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Eh... I don't know. --ケンジガール 09:11, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Ok Thank You anyways--CoolPikachu! 09:12, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Wait, I think I know. It's so people can patrol at a later time or something. --ケンジガール 09:13, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Ohh--CoolPikachu! 09:13, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Timezones, basically. Seeing as a number of vandals attack when most people in America are asleep. Glinn Mgraw 14:46, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
I doubt it would help. I've outlasted some vandals (although my experience with them is severely limited), but I'm almost always fighting off sleepiness and paying for it the next morning when I do so. What we need is a Russian admin. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 21:40, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Russia? That place has 11 time zones! Too far west (UTC +2 or UTC +3, depending on the time of year) and you get close to the UK, which has at least one known sysop already (at UTC 0 or UTC +1, depending on the time of year). Too far east (UTC +12 or UTC +13, depending on the time of year), you're better off looking in the Chamorro Time Zone (UTC +10 all year round), or you could try a UTC +8 zone such as Singapore or western Australia (knowing that someone from the former could just as easily speak Chinese and Malay but no English). Besides, there's no guarantee that a targeted area of Russia would have very many English speakers with Pokémon interests...--Shiningpikablu252 22:17, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
Well I canstay up late if it helps I nothing to do so...--CoolPikachu! 22:49, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
OK, point conceded. I thought of Russia first because they're right across the river from us (the river, of course, being the Bering Strait). --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 23:18, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

misunderstanding on adminship

It was a joke. Sorry I should have put LOL or something at the end so you could tell it was a joke. I have no reason not to like you. Literally none. And the only time I really see your personality is mostly agreeing with you, like the alternate sprites. It is just my sense of humour. Im sure you'll be a great admin and congratulations. Guardian of Earth 12:55, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

I knew it!

I knew you were going to do that eventually! ;) MoldyOrange 02:57, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Yeah... That's the one thing I was most upset about when the userpage ban happened. But I'll only update it once in a while. And I do everything on a note pad first so I only make one edit. --ケンジガール 02:58, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Since when r u a sysop?--KukiTalk 02:59, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Just don't abuse it, KG. Don't want DCM whining about you, too... TTEchidna 03:00, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
I'm not. Only one edit a day. That's the limit. Most days, I won't even be editing it. --ケンジガール 03:07, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Whining?I was making valid point, at which time you locked down my page so you could think of a response other than "Because I felt like it"DCM
...I knew it was going to end up like this again. MoldyOrange 03:20, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
Good to see we're still focusing on the really big issues. Glinn Mgraw 08:48, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

So, Ms. Admin...

Would you kindly protect Template:Player for me? --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 06:39, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Vielen Dank. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 06:41, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Chiaki & Chinatsu theory

Sorry, KenjiGirl but I have to deny your theory. Roman & Kylie's names in Japanese versions are Rio and Coco, not Chiaki and Chinatsu. I think the two couples are not related at all. The baby & evolution thing is just a random and coincidential similarity, something which I hate in articles. --Maxim 17:18, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Character pics

I'm on Pokemon Nightmare right now, I'll get them for u!--KukiTalk 23:31, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

Thanks. It be nice not to have to get them once in a while. But next time try Filb.de. Their pics are higher quality. --ケンジガール 23:34, 19 July 2008 (UTC)

"I wasn't quick enough"

I wasn't on! I was watching the Avatar finale!--KukiTalk 00:42, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

It was a joke. Calm down. --ケンジガール 03:30, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Well.

I really don't see how they are based on those two particular trainers. They are based on the classes, but not on the two certain trainers with different names and completely different facts (in the games they weren't siblings and had completely different Pokémon). They simply apppear in the same place - and this is all what they have in common. I know what you feel. It's annoying when your theory gets denied, but please, admit it, they are not similar at all. They just belong to the same classes and appear in the same place. That's all. Anime has its laws, it's much different than games. I won't delete that reference now. I'm waiting till you reply and then, I'll delete this, as I don't want to start an edit war. --Maxim 16:06, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

I'll get rid of it. I battled them today and now I'm not so sure anymore. --ケンジガール 20:45, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

12th movie

Yeah, it was confirmed at the end of the 11th --Nick. 21:48, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

It's not confirmed yet here on Bulbapedia. Were not doing anything until Bulbapedia confirms it. --ケンジガール 21:49, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Oh, ok --Nick. 21:50, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
Just wait a couple more days. Maybe we'll have more info by then. --ケンジガール 21:52, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

And we can confirm Brendan v. Lucas!--KukiTalk 21:54, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
