Please use link templates

For example, type Bug instead of Bug-type. Thank you. The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 20:57, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Rather, to get "Bug-type" for the link text, use type rather than t. TTEchidna 21:37, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Slow down on editing the User: namespace. There are only three userspace edits allowed per day, and you have gone over the limit. Editing your userpage too much will lead to it being locked again. Instead of making multiple small edits, why not instead use the preview button (Alt + Shift + P) to check your edits before saving the page? Thank you. --UltimateSephiroth (about me · chat · edits) 21:31, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Link Templates

Please use link templates when linking to stuff such as Pokémon names, attacks, and the like. For example, May instead of just May. This is so you don't unintentionally link to a disambiguation page.

For a full crash course on link templates, look at the list of link templates. --Chocolate (Chat with Me) 22:47, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

We here on Bulbapedia look down on inserting speculation into articles. Most Pokémon genders and many details about future episodes, for example, must be taken with a grain of salt and should not be inserted into articles without definite proof. Thank you. The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 13:40, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

This also goes for game giveaways from NPCs. Unless Cynthia says outright "This egg came from one of my Pokémon", the Togepi egg is no more likely hers than anyone else's. Same for Riley's Lucario and him giving away a Riolu egg. And does that mean you're suggesting that the hiker in southeast Hearthome has a Chansey on him? It may very well be the case, yes, but if there's any possible ambiguity, we can't have that. TTEchidna 21:37, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Speculation bad. If it's your opinion that hasn't been proven right, don't put it there.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 22:10, 19 January 2009 (UTC)

To avoid making multiple edits like you are doing on H POKé, try using the preview button located next to the save button. Thanks!--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 22:36, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Once again, please use the preview button.  — Laoris (Blah) 17:19, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Pokémon biology

I noticed you are adding quite a lot of information on Pokémon behavior and habitat. However, some of it appears to be unsubstantiated. What evidence do you have, for instance, that Electivire "are cruel creatures that enjoy bullying" or that Tangrowth "are very unintelligent"? — Laoris (Blah) 19:59, 21 January 2009 (UTC)

When voting

On featured articles, please remember to change the number of the votes. Thank you. The Dark Fiddler - Nos hablamos? 18:01, 24 January 2009 (UTC)

Do this Dawn not Dawn|Pachirisu.--FF(edits-talk) 11:12, 29 January 2009 (UTC)

Unsigned comments

Please don't re-sign them. The timestamp will be different, and will make it more confusing. Also, in that context, it looks like you posted the comment after Martonimos's warning, which would thus result in a block. I'm sure no admins would be stupid enough to believe it, but you never don't do it again.--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 21:01, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

Do not put information about an evolution that may happen on the Pokémon pages. Why do you think Dawn's Piplup, Dawn's Prinplup, and DP121 are being protected? --ケンジガール 14:57, 11 March 2009 (UTC)

1. Remember, link templates. Snow Cloak not Whatever the alternate text is. 2. Where are you geeting proof for these behaviors/habitats/physiologyz?--freezingCOLD (page, talk) 19:38, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Other userpages

do not edit other people's userpages, it is foremost rude, but moreover, against the rules. -- MAGNEDETH 21:00, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I knew I shouldn't have done it. I just thought the links were offensive.- unsigned comment from Dusknoir477 (talkcontribs)
well, if you think their offensive, tell that user, but, in the end, its freedom of speech. Dusknoir sucks! thats how I feel about Dusknoir, but if you like him, you have the right to and i wont stop you. also, please sign your comments with 4 tildes (~). -- MAGNEDETH 21:08, 13 March 2009 (UTC)

Preview button

I strongly appreciate that you're contributing to improve Bulbapedia, but can you PLEASE use the 'Show preview' button? It is located right next to the 'Save page' button for convenience when editing a page. Thank you. --Theryguy512 22:35, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

I do use it. In fact, I use it a lot now. I'm scared of not using it. What article did I not use the preview button on? Sorry, I forget.

Feebas and Milotic? --Theryguy512 22:44, 20 March 2009 (UTC)

Oh, I remember! I added in its biology, but then upon checking it then clicking save page, I noticed it was already written because I didn't notice. I re-edited it to merge them into one big biology. Really sorry. I should have just left it. - unsigned comment from Dusknoir477 (talkcontribs)

It's okay. Also, please always remember to sign talk page comments with '~~~~'. Thank you. --Theryguy512 01:58, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Quick Question

Where are you getting your behaviors from? Like the one you added to Machamp, I couldn't see any of that stated in the Poké Dex, so do you have an alternate source I don't know of? The Dark Fiddler - You enter a poorly lit room... 22:56, 21 March 2009 (UTC)

Just so you know

Anticipation does not tell you if a Pokémon has Explosion or a one-hit KO move. It only tells you if the Pokémon has a super effective move based on type. For example, Toxicroak's Anticipation would tell it if its opponent has a Psychic, Flying, or Ground move. Please research these things before you edit. --ケンジガール 09:28, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

id like you to explain this edit. -- MAGNEDETH 17:20, 19 January 2010 (UTC)

Regarding this

Which glitch Pokémon can appear? Did you just guess? --SnorlaxMonster 07:35, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

 • I saw it in a video, it was a video about glitches like the 0 ERROR and in one this creepy glitch box was found wild. I may have been mistaken, but I don't think so. By my judgement it was in the video. Unless it was a different glitch? Dusknoir477 17:20, 13 February 2010 (UTC)
Can you give me a link to the video? --SnorlaxMonster 03:36, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

"American" references

Just so you know, it's pretty much official (I don't know if it's stated anywhere though, but that's not my fault) that we use American English on pages.. so we usually go with what America would call it. Like the whole football/soccer ball thing (You've been reverted like, twice on Glalie's page about that...), and putting American release dates before British ones due to the fact that they're almost always the first country to have the games released in English. It's not intentionally bias or anything, it's just how we do things around here. ▫▪Ťïňắ 18:31, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Don't be an idiot

We'll get to it. Don't resort to vandalism to get your point across. You've had messages about this stuff before so this time you get a short block. —darklordtrom 11:57, 9 May 2010 (UTC)

Concerning trivia

Well, the main notice at the top of the site states that trivia should not be added. Also, this is not acceptable when adding trivia. --CoolPikachu! 11:39, 8 July 2011 (UTC)
