Your move templates

Indeed, I have meant to get working on getting the movesets in here, but I was not sure of the final format to use. If you wish to play around with it and flesh out some more of the tables, please do. I am still undecided on the standard moves table, but I think each Pokken character is planned to get its own page, so we can use the individual tables on those pages anyway; many of the standard moves are shared (with differences) and the other three tables are usually unique.
If you'd like, please go ahead and create the four tables in order (do not use the first of the five tabs, which just copies moves from the other four tabs) for each character. In other words, do the final table for Blaziken, then copy it for each character in the game. Let's start with that and we can then figure out other formatting and things when the tables go to each Pokémon's individual page. That would be a great help as I've been busy looking at stuff in the TCG and just haven't gotten back to doing the movesets. =) Once the move tables are done, let's worry about the species pages then. I'd like to get other staff opinion on the formatting as I know pages for each character were planned, and I don't know whether another staff member has one set up yet. Thank you! I am press for some namespace edits at the moment (I might be pushing my luck with just replying here) so I'll have to get to this a bit later. I'm at least going to try and start with the Pokémon moves and start with Lucario for now. I'll try to visit the other moves and see about just copying all the ones you have here to a new page for Blaziken down the line. Things may move really slowly in general as well, I have quite a bit on my plate outside of Bulbapedia itself, but I say people can feel free to add need information to the pages I made on my namespace if needed as well. (I believe that is allowed for pages that will be moved to the mainspace, right?) Anyway, thanks for your help and the table. Just hoping this will help with the mainspace in the future. ----NateVirus(Talk|Contributions) 02:59, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
When I created some userspace pages for Pokémon Rumble World, I was similarly concerned, but keep in mind this is material meant for the mainspace. Though I myself hit five or more edits in userspace a day, all was fine because the pages were going to be moved in the end. Just go ahead and do an edit or two each day, as much as you can do in one sitting, even if it's just a character a day. The material will eventually be in the mainspace, and when we have the tables done and everything approved (no timeline on that), you'll be able to copy them into your pages or we'll otherwise use them on pages that neither of us may know exists yet. Besides, I put on the page the template saying please edit this page, so that in a sense exempts it from the policy of not editing pages in someone else's userspace. The policy is meant more for pages that are not contributing to the mainspace, which includes modifying your own user page or - in some cases - talk pages. If I or other staff feel you're abusing editing on this userpage, we'll let you know, but for now just go ahead! CycloneGU (talk) 03:20, 2 April 2016 (UTC)
As you can probably see, I've been working on making the initial page for each character on my userspace and now have the current roster's pages made (but not finished). But I noticed that with the "Standard moves" section, the button inputs are in the row for the moves' names. Since I used this same table on my Blaziken page, I'll try to start fixing that already, but I probably won't finish it in one edit since I am currently pressed for time (I actually have to go to work in less than a half hour, where I am, as I type this... :P ). If you personally feel like you need to pick up wherever I left off, go for it!  ;) Other than that, I think I might be very close to finishing Blaziken's page and have that up to move very soon! ----NateVirus(Talk|Contributions) 17:47, 26 April 2016 (UTC)

Turning the table into a template

Well, it sounds strange considering the title I chose for the subject above, but I digress. I was wondering about making a template out of the table you made in an attempt to make the process of making the movelists for the Pokémon a bit easier oppose to typing out code for every move. I guess the only problem would be based on the number of moves a Pokémon has in this game. :/ Just an idea I'm sharing here. :P ----NateVirus(Talk|Contributions) 22:54, 5 June 2016 (UTC)

To add on the issue on the number of moves, maybe trying multiple templates like how we arrange Pokémon's moves on their pages might help. IDK. The big thing for me is time right now, since I've been pretty busy lately and still am. But it seems like I'm currently the only user willing to do this, so IDK, I'll just have to figure out making this whenever I get the time. :/ ----NateVirus(Talk|Contributions) 19:25, 18 July 2016 (UTC)
