on the talkpage of DP145, about English title reference, have you ever heard that phrase before?--Midnight Blue 03:29, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

I'll go check it out (and no worries, you didn't mess it up). CuboneKing 23:41, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

Masstake

It was a mastake its OK. If you want to muss up my bage no problam Random Chaos Was here 01:11, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Oh, OK. I had no clue it was a mistake, I thought it might be intentional vandalism. CuboneKing 01:20, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Well see my discussion for the apology. It's there. Random Chaos Was here 03:42, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

I saw it. CuboneKing 04:42, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

template

for the redirect you're fixing now, use {{mdc}} instead. For example, {{mdc|Wigglytuff|2}} will put Wigglytuff Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 19:36, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I know. I was about to go and fix that. Just an accident on my part. CuboneKing 19:37, 30 January 2010 (UTC)

something to do

sorry if this is a rather small assignment, but you can vote here for the opening of book articles. This is another thing you can do. Also, why do you keep saying "because alternate coloration is a redirect now" a lot? Is it because of this? Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 23:33, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

1. OK, I'll do that. 2. Yes, it is. I say it all the time in real life because it screws with other people and they don't get it. I find it funny. CuboneKing 23:35, 3 February 2010 (UTC)
You can add party templates to Battle Mode. This will take a lot of time, though. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 17:34, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
I'd do it, but thing is, I don't have the game, so they would be rather empty D: Thanks for the offer though :D CuboneKing 17:35, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
If you have Emerald, you can add the money you get by battling gym trainers. Turtwig A (talk | contribs) 17:37, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
There's something I can do. I'll go pull out my Emerald and battle Wattson. CuboneKing 17:38, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
Wait, I forgot why I put it down in the first place... No starter means no victory... Too hard... CuboneKing 19:12, 6 February 2010 (UTC)

Delete

We keep the info in there even with the delete template, as for referencing. It's not a redirect after one puts the delete template on it, so if that's what you're worried about, then... yeah. ht14 03:18, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Oh, thanks. CuboneKing 03:19, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

On an unrelated note, can you let me handle the "Major Appearances" thing? I was kinda handling it... ht14 03:22, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

Oh :| I'll work from Arceus if you want to avoid edit conflicts... CuboneKing 03:23, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
If you must. The thing is, I mass-edit each page, but I don't care much about the Gen IV Pokémon at the moment, seeing as they're in the format I want them to be for the most part. ht14 03:28, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Alright... You know, if you don't want me in this, just tell me. CuboneKing 03:29, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
I'm fine with it. I appreciate the help, really. ht14 03:34, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Alright, guess I'll get to it :| CuboneKing 03:34, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Just so you work on Gen IV. If you want to, Gen III will do as well. I'll do the others. ht14 03:37, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Absolutely no problems in Gen III. - unsigned comment from CuboneKing (talkcontribs)
By the way CK, if you catch it within a few minutes of forgetting to sign and somebody else doesn't add the unsigned template, nobody minds if you sign it with ~~~~. R.A. Hunter Blade 04:05, 9 March 2010 (UTC)
Sigh... I'll keep that in mind, thanks Hunter Blade :) CuboneKing 04:07, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

(Resetting indent) Only one problem in Gen IV, ht. The rest is yours. CuboneKing 04:20, 9 March 2010 (UTC)

STOP TOUCHING YOUR PAGES

although the MftE is a little outdated, it still clearly says one userspace edit a day and youve made 4. do the math and stop editing your userspace. -- MAGNEDETH 17:26, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

ok, i made an error, you only made 3 edits, but thats still 2 too many. -- MAGNEDETH 17:28, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

Alright, DETH. I didn't see the one-a-day thing, so I'll stop now. I have something better to do anyway. CuboneKing 19:48, 30 March 2010 (UTC)

User talk pages

If you're gonna set up new members user talk pages for the love of god welcome everyone then and don't welcome like 2 members out of 10. If it's a tedious job don't do it. ιɴsσмиιαc 00:37, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

It's not required. CuboneKing 00:38, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
I know but what is the point in doing it if you're not gonna do it for everyone then? Why pick and choose for no reason...ιɴsσмиιαc 00:42, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
Well, I'm kind of in the middle of something. When I check the RC from time to time, I just welcome the first new member I see. Then I go back to the task I was working on... CuboneKing 00:44, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

no offense, but i didnt ask for help. youre screwing me up. -- MAGNEDETH 01:07, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

If I got your point correctly, you're saying that you're not him, and not block evasion. I understand that. I was just saying that he got banned and he will not reply. CuboneKing 23:36, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Sorry!

My computer was lagging while I was typing out the tpcd... sorry, didn't mean to overwrite the edit :/ ▫▪Ťïňắ 22:39, 28 April 2010 (UTC)

Grammar

Cubone King,

Good evening. I apologise for re-doing my grammar correction on the Bug Type page, I had mistakenly thought it had not went through. However, I feel that "based on" is the correct grammar in this case, as well as the other 106 pages I found "based off of" written. I'm quite passionate about grammar and I was planning to correct these pages in the upcoming days. Is there some kind of agreement that can be reached over this matter?

Thanks,

--Burjojo 23:59, 5 May 2010 (UTC)

You know, you're probably right... I'll help if you want, but could you find a way to check? I'm very passionate about grammar too, but I just don't want you to correct all these pages only to go back and undo them all, so please check first :) Thanks, CuboneKing 00:02, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

I'll do my best to find a way to check, thank you for your co-operation :) --Burjojo 00:04, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

No problemo. CuboneKing 00:05, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

I've done some research over the matter. It would appear I'm not the first person to question this. There are scrolls of forums over the internet arguing the matter, but I did see some interesting explanations. If you were to type "based on" into Google, you would find much more results than "based off of". Also, the "of" is considered superfluous. For instance, in the sentence:

"After stowing away and getting kicked off of the S.S. Anne, Red meets the Pokémon Fan Club Chairman"

According to the majority, the "of" is not needed, as "getting kicked off the S.S Anne" is sufficient. This would not apply in the "based on" argument from earlier, however, as the usage is different. "Based on" is preffered to "based off of".

I do see why this has happened though, it is very common in speech (I say it myself I must admit) but it would appear frowned upon within the written aspects of english grammar.

But, it's down to you, boss. I live in Scotland, "glass" is a verb here ;)

--Burjojo 00:37, 6 May 2010 (UTC)

Oh, please don't call me boss :) I'm not even an admin :| I live in the US, and I hear "based off of" quite a bit more than "based on," which is why I was quick to revert your edit earlier. However, you do make a good point. Hm... I'd say take it to the Surpreme Court. CuboneKing 00:46, 6 May 2010 (UTC)
