I archive this page when it gets way too lengthy.

Let me be...

the first to comment you with your message thing. I have to admit, it's very nice. Very nice indeed. But anyway, could you help convert the Rain Dance page to Platinum standard? I started to, but my computer went all fritzy and its not fixed completely. I asked Politoed, but he asked TTE, and they didn't, and my computer is psycho. Can you help? --PsychicRider 21:03, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Okay, I'll do it right now. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 21:04, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Let me say thanks...THANKS!. lol. --PsychicRider 21:06, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
It's gonna take me a while to update it, so I'm gonna save a draft of it in a Word document and update it every day. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 21:25, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Ok, thanks again. I hope to have my computer fully fixed tomorrow. It was bad last week too. --PsychicRider 21:28, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

LTs

This may have just been a slip, but you forgot to use {{m}} when linking to Mega Punch on Roman's page. Remember the link templates; they are useful the way turkey is delicious. ((Marton imos)) 00:45, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Whoops, I was kinda in a hurry when I did that. But I fixed it now. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:47, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
Don't forget to use the preview button to see how things will look before you save them. Also, when you have a problem like that, you can use
(or "left", or "right") to solve it.
can be called up easily with {{-}}. --((Marton imos)) 01:22, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
I did use the preview button each time, and it looked correct each time, but that was because I was just editing sections. Next time I should click the edit tab at the top of the page if I want to make a change that could require the preview button. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 01:24, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

Capitals

You don't want to argue too heavily about grammar in a franchise where species names get capitalized. It's not like my Dog just got on my bed while Birds are singing outside and there's an annoying Squirrel trying to bore into the side of my house. --((Marton imos)) 21:34, 21 September 2008 (UTC)

The types

If you're going to do that to the Fighting and Normal types, are you going to do it for the other 15 types? --PsychicRider 23:32, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm in the process of doing it to the other types right now. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 23:34, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Types

i believe you have been told before not to do that, so, why are you doing it? -- MAGNEDETH 23:43, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

You don't get how I'm doing it, do you?
It's redundant to list Normal as one of their types on the Normal-type page, because we already know that they're Normal-type. All we need to do is put "Type 2" and the appropriate type.
I'd appreciate if you revert your edits, thanks. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 23:45, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
And I said that that's not how we do things. Everyone knows the starters are Grass/Fire/Water, doesn't mean we don't put their types. If we were all about removing redundancy, we'd take out all of the infoboxes. TTEchidna 23:51, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
But this is referring to dual types, not pure types. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 23:53, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
yea, and by removing their dual-type, it makes them look like pure whatever the other type is. remove the ground part of Torterra, and look, its a pure Grass-type. -- MAGNEDETH 23:54, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
You can clearly see at the top of the table thingy it says "Type 1" and "Type 2". --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 23:55, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
Two admins, longstanding, knowing what they are doing are telling you you ar wrong.
Take the hint--DCM((TalkContributions))

Seriously. Haven't we had this discussion with other people? Yami something or other? Darkrai breeder? MidnightCeltic 23:58, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Like I said before, I've got a plan for the type pages, but leave them for now. We had them without the type the page was on before and that just confused people on pages like Gallade's, saying it was Fighting/Psychic and not Psychic/Fighting. It matters which way it goes. We don't list the single-type Pokémon because there's nothing to differentiate; their primary AND secondary types are the same. But Gallade and Medicham are very different. When you see Medicham is it more like Hitmonlee or more like Alakazam? Same for Gallade. That's where the primary comes in.
Besides. There's plenty of other things to do than fuss over this when you've been told before this that we should keep them as-is. Do the PtMTs. The data's out there now. TTEchidna 23:59, 22 September 2008 (UTC)
By PtMTs, do you mean Platinum move tutors? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:00, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Yep. TTEchidna 00:39, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
'Kay. I did Bounce and I'm gonna do Iron Defense now. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:40, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

?

What just happened? It said something about an User name themozz...themezz...something like that.--Tavisource 01:38, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

It is just the server having problems. It will pass soon... hopefully. MoldyOrange 01:40, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Hey, Baby G, were you the one who created the crystal onix MS? if so, do you wan to be a member of the project?--Tavisource 01:53, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes, I created it. And sure, that sounds cool. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:43, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
Aren't the bows supposed to be in front of the ears? What about animation?--Tavisource 00:06, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, it's kinda hard to work with minisprites. And I don't know how to animate it. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:07, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
I mean you should put the bows in FRONT of the ears, not behind. And don't worry about the animation; I don't know how to do that either.--Tavisource 00:08, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
All right, I'll put them in front. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:08, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Are you done?--Tavisource 00:16, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

With Granbull, yes. And I'm doing Snubbull right now. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:17, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

No offense, but the thing on Granbull's head doesn't look like a bow. Look at the picture here. And if you do not mind, could you put the sprites in order like the big sprites. Thanks.--Tavisource 00:20, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Talk page comments

Anyone's allowed to remove talk page comments if the content doesn't help the article. Someone hoping that Ash will catch Hippopotas doesn't belong on the talk pages. --ケンジガール 02:03, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Animation

Now all you gotta do is make Mimey and Butterfree move. Look at my comment on my talk page--Tavisource 20:30, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm having trouble download that program you told me about. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:32, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Just hit download and it should add onto Firefox. It's in Tools on the toolbar.--Tavisource 20:33, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
I don't have Firefox. I have Internet Explorer. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:34, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Go here: [[1]]--Tavisource 20:34, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
I just downloaded it, and it's freezing up every time I try to open it. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:39, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Take it easy. Just go slower and it won't freeze as much. Sometimes when things freeze, it means you're going too fast.--Tavisource 20:56, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
How about this: You create BOTH of the frames and I'll animate it for you. Just end it too my e-mail: [email protected]Tavisource 20:56, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
'Kay, I can do that. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:58, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Hello? Are you going to send it?--Tavisource 21:31, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

I can't manage to find the second frame of the animation sprites. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 21:32, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
Oh, yeah...you need Firefox to get it. I guess I'll have to do it then.--Tavisource 21:46, 27 September 2008 (UTC)

Now remember...

When you make a template you really gotta categorize it. TTEchidna 03:32, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Custom Sprites

The Custom Sprites page has been moved here, to the main space.--Tavisource 04:03, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Minisprites

Please send them to me thru mail. I really like them, and considering we can't have them here, I'd like to have em somehow. I have ur email address, so I'll send a message, and you'll attach the sprites in a reply--KukiTalk 13:15, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Well, I'm on my mom's computer right now, and the sprites are on my computer. But my computer's acting horrible right now, which is why I'm using a different computer right now. But, when I go on to my computer later, I'll send them to you, 'kay? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 13:18, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Sure. But do u remember, back in August, the message that read Thanks for letting Me Contact U Privately with the text STOP HARASSSING US!!! U do not realize how many users I can email about u? Well that was me, back whe I thought u were really annoying. I now regret that--KukiTalk 13:24, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
It's okay. I forgive you. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 13:25, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

I sent the mail--KukiTalk 13:27, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Stop.

This is your final warning. Failure to comply with the limit on editing the User: namespace will cause you to lose the ability to edit it. --MoldyOrange 20:48, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

They are in the userspace, they count. MoldyOrange 20:53, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Then why didn't you clarify that subpages count when you warned me? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:54, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Be careful

You made three userspace edits and made it to the final warning (twice, but I neglected the first time you got it). Next warning you get equals a ban from the userspace. MoldyOrange 22:53, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

For how long? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 22:53, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
A ban is a long time. A block is maybe a week or so. PL12 22:55, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Not necessarily. A ban would just be from the userspace and it would be however long TTE wants it to be. A bock is the one that would probably be a week... but it is a block from the whole site. MoldyOrange 22:57, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Ya' better be careful.--Tavisource 23:05, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
I fail to understand what's so bad about editing my userpage and subpages a lot. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 23:28, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
There was a several month-long ban on Userspace edits because people were doing way too much work on their userpages, bogging down the server and neglecting the main space. We only got them back in late July, and aren't too anxious to lose them again. --((Marton imos)) 23:32, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
So, the reason for the limit is because making too many edits slows down the server? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 23:34, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes. Same reason we encourage people to keep few subpages, and have the signature policy to prevent people from using sig templates. --((Marton imos)) 23:47, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
The ban was awful...not nice...it was a total disgrace to Bulbapedia...every new users were so confused.--Tavisource 23:51, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
not nice? a disgrace? people should come here to edit mainspace, not namespace. -- MAGNEDETH 23:53, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
(indent reset)I know that when I showed up, I was amazed. My userpages on other wikis were always one or two lines about me; here, seemingly everyone has at least a page of usertags, a trainer infobox, and no fewer than two or three teams. And the signatures! I'm glad that the policy forbade images in signatures, or I wouldn't be able to concentrate on conversations long enough to know what was going on.
Sigh... sorry, I know this is off-topic. Just felt like ranting. --((Marton imos)) 00:03, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Well, you might say the same about the earthquake page. Why don't you say the same about the fact that Onix and Steelix aren't next to each other? You should comment on that, because that's one of the reason why I did what I did. TheBlazikenMaster 09:31, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
