Gold Silver Ethan Time Capsule.png This is a talk page archive.

It contains old discussions of topics relating to the user. Please do not add or remove any content from it.

Welcome to Bulbapedia, Chocolate!

As a new user, you may wish to learn a few things that will be useful in your editing:

  • For a basic overview of wiki code, see this page.
  • The manual of style is very important. Make sure to read it. It outlines all official policies of Bulbapedia.
  • The word Pokémon is spelled with a capital P and an accented é. The P, of course, is accessed easily by holding Shift and pressing the P key, while the é can be accessed using Alt + 130 or Alt + 0233 on a Windows computer, and Option + e, then e again on a Mac. Otherwise, you can click it in the character palette below the editbox.
  • The word Poké Ball is spelled as two words. The "Poké" part is identical to the four beginning letters in "Pokémon"; "Ball" is spelled with a captial B (which is, again, accessed by holding Shift and pressing the B key). The spelling "Pokéball" arises frequently, but is incorrect.
  • The word "you" and all forms of it should not be used on encyclopedic pages unless it is a quote from Pokémon media. Bulbapedia is an encyclopedia, not a walkthrough.
  • On talk pages, please sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
  • The use of link templates is official policy. For an explanation on their use, see the page on shortlinks.
  • If you happen to spot a vandal in the recent changes that has not been dealt with, please see this page for how to deal with it.
  • A list of pages that are linked to, but have not been created, can be found at this page. A list of short articles that may require more information can be found here, while a list of articles that need improvement can be found here.
  • If you want to make a page about a character you made up, please create it at User:Chocolate/Archive 2/(name), not merely (name). Bulbapedia's main namespace is reserved for actual, official Pokémon, items, characters, and locations. Also, please try to make sure that subpages are not categorized by templates used within.
  • A list of the admins that you can contact in case of a problem, can be found here.

Thank you, and have a good time editing here!486PokeManiac102492 01:40, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

Have you tried emailing yourself your password? C Is for Cookie

I can't. It was stupid of me to not enter an e-mail address when I registered, but I can't change what happened. Baby G 21:01, 17 March 2008 (UTC)

For absolutely NO reason, I'm not allowed to edit my user page when I try to. WTF is going on? Baby G 23:21, 1 April 2008 (UTC)

Read the Message from the Editor on the main pagePokeManiac102 23:23, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
And click the Zhen Lin link there, after that, you will know everythingPokeManiac102 23:24, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
When will I be able to edit it again? Baby G 20:23, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

You forgot your password for babyg

Log out, Log Bak In, Type in babyg, and press recover lost password. Follow directions from there--KukiTalk 22:02, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

I can't. I didn't have an e-mail address registered on my old account. Baby G 01:50, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
How is that possible? You can't even make edits on Bulbapedia until you receive and respond to the confirmation e-mail. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 22:22, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, I don't remember my e-mail address from my old account. That's what I meant to say. Baby G 22:30, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
Doesnt it say it in preferences? you lost me...DCM 02:53, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Doesn't do much good if you can't log in to see the preferences, though. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 03:58, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Cant an admin check it?DCM 12:55, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
Even if an admin can find it out for me, I don't remember my password for my e-mail either. My password on Bulbapedia is the same as my e-mail password, and I don't remember my e-mail password. But I've got a new e-mail address now. Baby G 13:25, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Talk Page Comments

Please don't erase talk page comments for no reason. Trust me, you do NOT want to end up like Big Johnno, who got into an edit war with a sysop over comments the former had erased and was trying to keep erased. That user ended up blocked and subsequently had every erased comment restored. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 20:53, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Please, try to refrain from editing talk pages for a little while. As you can see from that template I subst'd, deleting comments is against the rules. Like I keep saying, just chill out for a while. I can deal with Kuki. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 20:53, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Can someone change my user name?

When an admin comes and has reviewed this discussion, he or she can remove the archive templates and this message.

My current user name is getting boring, so I'd like a new one, if it's possible on this site (I know it is on Wikipedia but I'm not sure about here). If it is possible, I'd like my user name to be changed to "Pokémon1994". Baby G 00:16, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Please keep in mind that we discourage frequent username changing, especially ones that are unmotivated. (Tavisource was renamed since the original username had a typo; Optimatum was renamed to avoid a connection with a vandal; DCM's original username was unwieldy.) - 振霖T 17:14, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
So it can't be changed? Baby G 17:16, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Give us a good reason other than*because I felt like it*Your Friendly Neighborhood Cookie Monster
Because I hate my current user name. Baby G 18:55, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Thats not really that last user name was HUGE!!!!!Your Friendly Neighborhood Cookie Monster
Well, my current user name has nothing to do with the articles I contribute to, while a user name like "Pokémon1994" does involve my contributions. Baby G 18:59, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Why is it important that your name matches your contributions?DCM means nothing to any of my contributions....Your Friendly Neighborhood Cookie Monster
I'm just kinda picky with certain things. Baby G 19:08, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Hmmmm, that might not be good enough. Are you sick of your name because when people see the word Baby they think of you as immature?Your Friendly Neighborhood Cookie Monster
No, I just think my name is too random. It has nothing to do with me in real life or on Bulbapedia. Baby G 19:24, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Mine was random, but also easy to remember--KukiTalk 19:26, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, I don't like having random names. Baby G 19:28, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Although my name can b traced bak to Kingler's anime cry--KukiTalk 19:30, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Well, my name can't really be traced to anything. Baby G 19:30, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Well then thats too bad for you.Your not gonna change it because you no longer like it.Goo dayYour Friendly Neighborhood Cookie Monster
Can you please edit your comment so it sounds more civil? Saying "good day" makes it seem like you're yelling at me. Baby G 19:33, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
He's Darth Cookie Monster For Crying Out Loud!--KukiTalk 19:35, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Now you're yelling too? How uncivil can you get? Baby G 19:36, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
You have no legitamat reason.Good Day Your Friendly Neighborhood Cookie Monster
I have several reasons that I have provided. Baby G 19:39, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Because you hate your current user name.Congrats.Thats nothing. You just dont like this onw anymore.Thats not legitamate, thats just stupidity.Good day to you, sirYour Friendly Neighborhood Cookie Monster
That's it. You have crossed the line. I'm reporting you to an admin for being uncivil. Baby G 19:43, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
You can have fun with that.Your reasons for name change are unjust, compared to someone who didnt want to be compared to a vandalGood Day;DCM

Well hey, it's your own fault for being uncivil. Baby G 19:49, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

DCM, I am banning you from my talk page. Don't post here again or there will be consequences. Baby G 19:52, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
U can't do that--KukiTalk 19:56, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Yes I can. If I do not wish to interact with a certain editor, I can ban them from my talk page. Baby G 19:54, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
how in the world is 'good day' uncivil? do you want him to wish you a bad day?Garrison12795 19:54, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Because the way he said it made it seem uncivil. Baby G 19:55, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
He said 'Good Day'. He didn't add an exclimation mark or anything. Garrison12795 19:56, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
You cant ban people from posting on your talk page.Look here Day;DCM
own'd! Garrison12795 19:57, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
@Garrison12795: Do you really want me to report you too?
@DCM: I do not welcome people to my talk page if they insult me. Baby G 19:59, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

He's not insulting you, he's just saying that you can't block people from your talk page. you can refuse to talk to them, but not block them. Garrison12795 20:01, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

He did insult me. Baby G 20:01, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
He could have made a better choice of words, but I assure you, he didn't mean it.Garrison12795 20:04, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
He may have not meant it, but it still slipped out, and it's therefore still uncivil. Baby G 20:06, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Go back and read it again.I didnt call you stupid, I called what you were doing stupid.Good Day;DCM
That may have sounded uncivil, but you still have to come up with a better reason. Garrison12795 20:08, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
DCM and Garrison12795, can you please both tell me why you even joined this discussion? I never had any interaction with either of you before, so what brought you here? Baby G 20:10, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
When Zhen Lin didn't respond, sum1 had to! Oh,and I've got another reason for u: BECAUSE WE FELT LIKE IT!!! HOW DOES THAT FEEL????--KukiTalk 20:15, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
DCM obviously knew you had no good reason, and informed you that you couldn't change it just because of that. Then after noticing that the conversation had gone for far too long, I decided to join in. Garrison12795 20:12, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
You claim that the discussion had gone on too long, so you joined in. That's just gonna make it go on longer. Baby G 20:13, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
If 3 users couldn't get you to find a better reason, I figured that 4 would.Garrison12795 20:15, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Make it 5. lol jk. Haha! Dino-K1337

The original intention of this discussion was for me to get an answer if it was possible or not for names to be changed on this Website, and for my name to be changed if it was possible. I didn't intend for this discussion to turn into a huge discussion as it is now. Baby G 20:18, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
If you just accepted that that wasn't a good enough reason, then it wouldn't have been. Garrison12795 20:20, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Take it easy, all of you. Let Baby G present his case to the admins, and they'll decide whether or not to allow it. You really can't say what they'll do.

Baby G, keep in mind that Zhen said above that you need a good reason to change your name. Present that reason to the admins, let them decide, and then stick with that decision. All you're doing right now is escalating the problem. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 20:20, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

This is y we all joined the convo: When Zhen Lin didn't respond, sum1 had to! Oh,and I've got another reason for u: BECAUSE WE FELT LIKE IT!!! HOW DOES THAT FEEL????--Kuki<spanstyle="color:#2c40a4;">Ta</span>lk 20:24, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Again with the uncivilness, Kuki? Baby G 20:22, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Seriously, stop posting. All of you. This is pointless and spamming up the RCs. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 20:25, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

You've been making too many edits to the User talk: namespace lately. Please take your conversations to the forums, a chatroom, e-mail, an IM service, or something similar, as that many edits will slow down the server. --KukiTalk 20:40, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Well, it's not my fault that people keep posting on my page and that I'm forced to respond. Baby G 20:41, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

U FORCED US TO RESPOND--KukiTalk 20:45, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Let's talk

I'm sorry about yesterday--KukiTalk 20:23, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

Draco Meteor

It's been proven time and time again that Mew cannot learn Draco Meteor. If it could learn Draco Meteor from the tutor, then it would also be able to learn Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, and Hydro Cannon from move tutors both at Cape Brink and on Route 228, tutors Mew are incompatible with. All four of those moves never corresponded to TMs, which Mew has universal compatability with, hence why Mew can be and are incompatible with those tutors.

Please don't change the Draco Meteor, Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, or Hydro Cannon pages to add false information again. Adding false information is frowned upon here, and it's a blockable offense. --Shiningpikablu252 02:40, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Have you actually tried to make it learn Draco Meteor? It can learn it. Baby G 20:19, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
I jsut cannot learn itDCM

The moves shouldn't be in alphebetical order, they are in order of first time used! Please don't change anymore. MoldyOrange 01:51, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Is there a quote in the Manual of Style that says that? Baby G 01:55, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
I thought it was in the Mos, but I looked (it wasn't there, but I think TTE said this sometime) it is easier to add attacks to the list and tell how the Pokémon has developed overtime, that is not as easy when the moves are in a different order.MoldyOrange 01:56, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Why I removed Scyther's back sprite trivia

Because I found out that most of the Pokémon from FRLG have different back sprites from their RSE counterparts. Scyther isn't special at all. Bulbapedia just didn't post the FRLG back sprites. --ケンジガール 21:36, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

If that was the reason, you should've said that in your edit summary so people wouldn't have to ask you why. Baby G 21:37, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Move Compatability

Each facet of a Pokémon's move compatability list is an entirely separate entity. The fact that a Pokémon learns a TM move by levelling up does NOT guarantee that it can learn it through the TM. Please don't go inserting how Burmy can learn Protect through TM17 and Hidden Power through TM10 on the sole basis that it gets them by level. Burmy can't learn ANY moves through TMs, and the fact that it gets two TM moves by level does not change that.

By your reasoning, Wynaut and Wobbuffet are compatible with TM20 (Safeguard) in Generation III and Generation IV. They're not. By your reasoning, Dratini and Dragonair are compatible with TM15 (Hyper Beam) in all four generations. They're not in Generations I and II.

Please accept the fact that Burmy can't learn Protect and Hidden Power through TM. You're already on thin ice as it is, please stop inserting false information! --Shiningpikablu252 14:44, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Especially bcuz u can't have the same move twice w/o cheating--KukiTalk 14:46, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Actually, once Burmy gets Tackle by level, it's possible to get the Move Deleter to remove Protect. That's the only way you can get the Move Deleter to erase Protect; it's not compatible with the Hidden Power TM, so you'll have to wait until it gets Tackle.
It's also possible to get the Move Deleter to erase Safeguard from a wild-captured Wobbuffet or to not even teach it to a Wynaut. --Shiningpikablu252 14:53, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

here is the problem with the template

1, you didn't categorize it; 2, the lack of edits from the user is enough of a clue that they don't come here anymore; 3, what if they come back, then they would have to edit it off; 4, you aren't allowed to edit other people's pages; 5, the user would have to put the template on their page themselves, thus causing them not to be retired. Must I go on? MoldyOrange 02:26, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

  1. I didn't know what to categorize it as.
  2. If they put the template on their page, people will know beforehand.
  3. True, but that wouldn't be a problem.
  4. The user could put it on themself.
  5. They could put it on before retiring. Baby G 02:29, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Slow down on editing the User: namespace. Editing your userpage too much will lead to it being locked again. Instead of making multiple small edits, why not instead use the preview button (Alt + Shift + P) to check your edits before saving the page? Thank you. --PsychicRider 01:34, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

But I've been updating my Pokémon Diamond team a lot lately, and I need to keep putting the updates on my page. Baby G 01:35, 1 September 2008 (UTC) can use the preview button. And if your Internet allows it, use tabs to go to another part of the site if you need to find like a picture or something.--PsychicRider 01:38, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
The preview button allows me to see how I've edited my page. How does it prevent me from editing my page a lot? Also, I already knew about the tab thing. Baby G 01:39, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
So you don't make too many edits. If you see something you don't like, you can change it on the spot, not 2 minutes later after you've saved it.--PsychicRider 01:42, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
But that won't work in some cases. If I edit my page at 10 AM on one day, and get a new team member later that same day at 1 PM, that's a huge time difference. Baby G 01:43, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Ugh...OK, the point is that you don't need to edit your userspace a lot. Wait until you get like... a new team to edit. But don't edit it a lot, it'll lead to another userspace block, then you don't have to worry about editing it.--PsychicRider 01:47, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

What do you mean userspace "block"? Baby G 01:48, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
As in you won't be able to edit it...EVER!...or as long as the block is in effect. The block go for every user here. We had a previous one from like March or something until June/July. Look, I really don't know how much simpler I can make this--PsychicRider 01:51, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Why would we have to have a block like that? I don't see what's so bad about editing userpages a lot. Baby G 01:53, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
OK...This is going nowhere. Look, I can say this very simply, but at the same time, make you look stupid when people read it. DON'T EDIT IT A LOT. IT'S A POKÉCENTRIC ENCYCLOPEDIA, NOT MYSPACE OR FACEBOOK!! It's simple. And to answer your previous question, because people didn't edit the mainspace enough, or weren't using the preview button to make 1 edit instead of 15 or so. Get it, or do you need me to explain it more?--PsychicRider 01:57, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Okay...I get need to shout... Baby G 01:58, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Thank you. And that shouting, that was what I promised would make you feel stupid. If you were offended, my bad. I was making it simpler.--PsychicRider 02:01, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Just to clarify something... it wouldn't exactly be a block for everyone... we have ways of singling out offenders now. TTEchidna 19:18, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Don't you want my shiny dialga?--Diamaster 03:22, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Why do you think people hate you? I think you're great! And by the way, on your user page, you're missing the "r" in "User tags"--☆Tavisource 01:48, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

This is your second warning. Please refrain from editing the User: namespace too rapidly, or you will lose privileges. --Porygon-Z 02:02, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

How many edits can I make per day? Baby G 20:10, 3 September 2008 (UTC)
3 a dayDCM

Sorry about that, chief. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 21:08, 3 September 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry, I guess I really wasn't paying attention to what I should have been doing. But, in order to make things clearer and to explain that both of your accounts are the same person, I suggest turning your old account's talk page from before into an archive of your new account, and making the old account's talk page a redirect to your current talk page. I think that would clear up some issues, sorry for the inconvenience. MoldyOrange 22:40, 6 September 2008 (UTC)

Actually, you did it correctly, everything is where it needs to be and it has it's history. No need to worry about it. MoldyOrange 00:18, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Magma Storm

Why do you think it is not like Blizzard? The Placebo Effect 15:59, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

It doesn't cause a status condition or lower an opponent's stat. Baby G 16:00, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
But it does cause a trapping effect. - unsigned comment from The Placebo Effect (talkcontribs)
But that's not a status condition. The official status conditions are:
  • Poisoned
  • Paralyzed
  • Burned
  • Asleep
  • Frozen
  • Confused
  • Infatuated
  • Cursed

Trapped is not an official status condition. Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 17:55, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

I know what status conditions are, but the fact is, you did it without seeing what others think, and it does have a secondary effect and matches everything else except type and secondary effect. The Placebo Effect 18:02, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
The move variations page says "120 power, 70% accuracy, may cause status condition" under variations of Blizzard. Magma Storm doesn't cause an official status condition and is sure to have its secondary effect instead of rarely having it. Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 18:05, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
No. It says "may cause non-volatile status on target" The Placebo Effect 18:07, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes. Trapping isn't a "non-volatile status". Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 18:08, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

This is your final warning. Failure to comply with the limit on editing the User: namespace will cause you to lose the ability to edit it. --Porygon-Z 21:02, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

I've only been editing it 2 times a day at most since DCM told me that I can only edit it no more than 3 times a day. Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 21:04, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
He's got a point... last I heard, the limit was three times a day. He did so on the 3rd, but hasn't reached the limit since then. --ニョロトノ666 21:10, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
I think the problem is that this page is in the userspace. My recommendation would be to move it to a subpage of the sandbox, something like Bulbapedia:Sandbox/Signature move, and edit it there, so people don't think you're editing your userpage. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 21:13, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Okay, I have moved it. Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 21:16, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Here's the thing: the sandbox needs no subpages. Just put it in the sandbox itself and it should do fine. No need for it to have its own separate page. Also, you can avoid making so many edits by utilizing the preview button. You've got about one minute to copy and paste it to the main sandbox page before I delete the subpage. --ニョロトノ666 21:18, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
If I put it in the sandbox, won't people erase it? Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 21:19, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
They shouldn't. And if they do, we can always revert.
Sorry, Politoed. People have used sandbox subpages a lot in he past, so I figured it would be OK. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 21:20, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

So, I can put it into the sandbox and nobody is allowed to erase it except for me? Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 21:22, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

You can erase it if you want. Many users just kee there junk there though.--DCM((TalkContributions))
Ah, but I can't find any sandbox subpages that haven't been deleted. I'm simply going to move it back to the userspace and you can use the preview button. --ニョロトノ666 21:25, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
No need; I'll simply update it in the sandbox. Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 21:26, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
If you're worried about losing work, try this: copy the code into a word document and work on it there. Then, when you're ready, copy it back into the sandbox and preview it; if you need to change it, do so and save in the word document. Repeat as necessary. That way, you don't even have to do anything to the wiki until it's all ready. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 21:29, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Trust me.You want to do that.I made this really cool userbox with double pictures, and double phrases, but I lost it because my laptop died :( SAVE YOUR WORK!--DCM((TalkContributions))

Hey, this is Tavisource. See, I'm the one creating alt. sprites for certain Pokemon, but I think we ran into a problem a while ago. See, when you uploaded the clearer pic of Ash's Primeape, you overwritten my alt. sprite that was named the same thing. Seeing that, people just got rid of my Primeape sprite on every page because it showed your picture instead...I have no idea why I can't revert it, but do you know what went wrong?...I want my sprite back! (cries hopelessly)...sob...sob.--☆Tavisource 23:44, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Well, someone on Bulbagarden Archives deleted your Primeape image, saying that it was "fan artwork" that wasn't in use, and I didn't even know about you then. However, I'm also good at making sprites. I can make a new sprite for you. What was added to the sprite? Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:11, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

FV deleted the sprite (reason is on the talkpage), and the championship belt was added to the sprite. Kenji-Girl uploaded the png, Baby G uploaded JPG--KukiTalk 16:06, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

This is stupid. Really. When things like this happen, the best thing you can do is just accept you're wrong and move on. I'm not gonna say you should come back, especially not if you don't want to, but... yeah. This is stupid. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 06:32, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Oh great. Now you're against me too? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:04, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
What is with everyone thinking we're against them? Did I go saying "I'm gonna quit Bulbapedia because Zhen and Pie said my template sucked"? TTEchidna 22:18, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, Martonimos said that this situation was stupid, which I take offence to. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 22:22, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
And here I was worried about being flamed for being the only one to come to your defense again. Well, it's no skin off my back. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 22:56, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
So do you no longer like me? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 23:07, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
How much can I like or dislike someone whom I've only known in the context of edits made to a wiki? Some people here I consider friends (like, say, Moldy orange) because I've interacted enough with them to know that they're good people. You, I don't know well enough to form an opinion on.
And in case you were confused, I wasn't saying that your situation was stupid, I was saying that leaving because of it was stupid. You had a legitimate argument; the others just had a more legitimate argument. --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 23:16, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

You don't know me enough to form an opinion about me? How can you not have an opinion about me when I'm the one who nominated you for adminship? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 23:19, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

OK, you want to know what I think about you?
Well, when you said you were leaving, I came here to try and convince you not to, didn't I? --Martonimos((Argh|Blargh)) 00:16, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, yeah, you tried to convince me not to leave. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 00:34, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Fighting Type

They have a reason for that division... ht14 21:47, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

My way is more organized. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 21:48, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
It's still the same idea is what you're saying, but it isn't... ht14 21:50, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Gallade was the first Psychic/Fighting. Medicham has the same two types (and therefore the same weaknesses) but being a Fighting/Psychic it's different. TTEchidna 22:10, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
Im confused.Care to elaborate?--DCM((TalkContributions))
Okay. Each of the seventeen types can be primary, and each of the seventeen can be secondary. When the primary and secondary are the same, according to the game, it's a single-type Pokémon. Additionally, oftentimes the primary type is more apparent by the Pokémon's design (notice how Meditite and Medicham look like Fighting-types often do, while Gallade looks like a Psychic-type). TTEchidna 01:58, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
also, types that are gained/changed during evolution are almost always the secondary type. Kirlia was Psychic, so they slapped Fighting on the other end. it should be noted that Flying as never been a primary type. -- MAGNEDETH 02:02, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

move head images

only one game-image is prefered, and the most recent one is the best one to use, which would be Platinum, a game currently only released in Japanese. The image graphics do not change when it is in a different language, only the text. MoldyOrange 01:39, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Well it is really that hard to say that in your edit summary? And you haven't answered my question that I asked you before: What did I do to make you hate me? --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 01:41, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
I did answer it, and I don't like repeting myself. It was impossible to show in an edit summary because you made four edits just to add that image. I had to rollback all four edits in order to get the page back to the state it was. Rollback-ing edits disables the option to add an edit summary. If you would have used the preview button and added the image in one edit, I could have used the normal undo and added an edit summary, but guess what! You did a job in four edits when it could have been done in one. MoldyOrange 01:52, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
You said that you hated me because a comment of mine was "unjust". How was it unjust, and what comment was it? And you don't have to use Rollback, you can simply view the old revision of a page and edit that version. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 01:59, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
That takes longer. And I doubt he outright hates you, he's probably just frustrated with all the crap we've had to deal with in the last couple months... TTEchidna 02:03, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes, it takes longer, but it allows the option of entering an edit summary. And he stated himself that he has a grudge against me. --Baby G (talk to me) (see my edits) 20:11, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
When you have to go through all 500+ changes that happen in a given day you don't exactly have the time to take time. This is something we do without pay. We do it because we love Pokémon. TTEchidna 20:18, 18 September 2008 (UTC)
