Foresight

Foresight and Odor Sleuth do not remove all resistances. They only set evasiveness back to normal and make Ghost-types vulnerable to Normal- and Fighting-type attacks. They have no effect on the effectiveness of Electric on Ground. --DarkfireTaimatsu 21:39, 9 August 2007 (UTC)

Help

I need help with the syntax on Template:Availability. Here is an example of what I mean:

Don't use ampersands instead of and, unless it's something official like EX FireRed & LeafGreen. Ampersands are usually not in anything but a title.

Also, Generation I is essentially defined as Red, Blue, and Yellow, and Pokémon is spelled with the accented é, in the character map below the editbox. Please. Use it. TTEchidna 09:11, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

Sysop Reverts

It's not a good idea to undo a reversion by a sysop. While the sysop isn't always 100% right (nobody is), the sysops know what they're doing. We have a manual of style and notability requirements that are there for the good of all users. --Shiningpikablu252 20:25, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

STAB

It's been proven that the same-type attack bonus works the same way regardless of the Pokémon's type and whether it's a single-type or a dual-type. The STAB bonus is 50% regardless of whether it's a Seviper or Crobat using Poison Fang. Either you have a bad copy of the game, or the effects of a move such as Growl or Harden were in play causing the damage to be reduced. --Shiningpikablu252 20:25, 20 August 2007 (UTC)

Swarms?

I have another question. I was getting lots of swarms in my Japanese Diamond, but since Friday, they have stopped working. Also, they did not start appearing after I got the National Dex in my English Diamond. Why is this? Babyg 21:16, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

Fullmoon Island & Newmoon Island

Draco Meteor

It's been proven that Mew cannot legally learn Draco Meteor. If you've had the tutor successfully teach it to you, tell me which cheating device you used. You had to have used one, since Mew can't learn Draco Meteor without one. This is mainly due to the fact that it never was a machine move, unlike most of the other move tutor moves.

And Draco Meteor's not the only tutor move Mew can't learn. Mew also can't learn Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, and Hydro Cannon, not in FireRed and LeafGreen and not in Diamond and Pearl. Again, those moves were never machine moves.

Please do not bring up any bull**** about Mew being able to learn Draco Meteor, Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, or Hydro Cannon ever again, or else the sysops probably will lower the boom on you. Hard. --Shiningpikablu252 16:45, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

You can enable and disable codes at anytime using cheating devices such as an Action Replay. Just because a code's not set in the cheating device at the moment doesn't mean it wasn't ever enabled. --Shiningpikablu252 20:48, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Dude. It doesn't matter that your Mew has Draco Meteor. My own Kingdra had Sky Attack one time, due to a glitch in Stadium 2 involving Red's 13th box. The point remains that Mew can't learn Draco Meteor by tutoring, just like Kingdra can't learn Sky Attack. In fact, I'm heading home to visit my family over the next weekend, and I'll post a YouTube video of myself walking onto Route 210, going into Grandma Wilma's house, and trying to get her to tutor my Pokémon Draco Meteor with a Mew in the party. I've once again gone to her, this time with my Kingdra and, of course, Mew, and she said, when I selected Mew, "Sorry to disappoint you... That Pokémon can't learn this move." I would like to say that you have used cheating devices. Action Replay. Now I have never cheated on my actual Pokémon Games, hands down. However I have on PC Emulators and I know, from the moment you activate a cheat, your game changes. Yes, your Mew can learn Draco Meteor if you say so, but that is because your game is messed up (not seriously messed up, just slightly) due to the cheating devices and cheats that you have activated. Even if you deactivate them, your game is still scarred. Listen to all of these people, they have all tried to teach their legit/non-legit (I don't know) Mews this attack and have all failed, except from you. So basically you are wronged by your cheats.
