IMDB

IMDB is not a valid nor is it a trusted source, since anyone can edit the page and add anything they want on it. To get source on who voiced who, ask the voice actors themselves on any social medias platform. Thank you.--ForceFire 03:47, 29 October 2016 (UTC)

Behind the Voice Actors

We've (as in the staff) noted that Behind the Voice Actors has a checkmark system where verified roles have a green checkmark on their image, and since none of the image for those roles have a green checkmark, we're not trusting that source. VA sources

Hi. I want to ask you to understand that here on Bulbapedia, we have very strict sourcing requirements for English voice actors. This means, if you are going to add voice actors to a page, you must include a link to a source—an acceptable and verifiable source. (I.e., Behind the Voice Actor is only verifiable where it has check marks, such as here. IMDB is, to my knowledge, not at all verifiable.) Just saying that some voice actors confirmed their roles, with no link, is not at all acceptable. (If somehow you can't fit the link/s in the edit summary, posting on the talk page or something would certainly be sufficient.)

I'm going to refrain from reverting your recent edit for just a moment and try to give you a chance to cite your sources again. Can you tell me as specifically as possible how/where they have confirmed it? Tiddlywinks (talk) 03:46, 3 November 2016 (UTC)

I would like to emphasize that, when you add a credit, you must include a source link in the edit summary. Please remember this in the future. (We don't want people to have to search everywhere on Bulbapedia for the source. Ideally, it should be right in the edit history.)
