Munchlax

Shouldn't something be mentioned about Munchlax appearing in XD, Dash and Mystery Dungeon, Bonsly appearing in XD and Lucario's statue in Mystery Dungeon too as these were all before their generation? ☆The Solar Dragon☆ 12:51, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

Currently this page is only anime, but I guess we could include games as well. But then we would need to include manga as well (assuming that there are Pokémon that appeared in the manga before their generation). --SnorlaxMonster 12:58, 16 October 2011 (UTC)

List of appearances

For pokemon that appeared early that have their own page on Bulbapedia, à la Ho-oh, Togepi, etc., would it be better to link to those pages specifically? Saying Togepi first appeared in Who Gets to Keep Togepi's correct so have that listed here, but link to Misty's showing that it was around in a number of episodes before GS, not just that one. I only ask this because some pokemon appeared multiple times before their games were released. Wailmer was in the Pikachu short, the actual movie 5, and Johto Photo Finish. I think it would be good to list all of those appearances of separate individuals. If people only wanted to know about the episodes and not include shorts or movies, they wouldn't see that for pokemon like Wailmer or Bonsly because it only lists their debut, not all appearances prior to release.GreatLiver (talk) 22:57, 8 May 2013 (UTC)

I think the point of the page is to show how early they appeared, not the number of times they appeared early. The page should be about species, not individuals. --SnorlaxMonster 05:10, 9 May 2013 (UTC)

Finneon

It's probably worth pointing out that in Pokémon: Lucario and the Mystery of Mew the daughter has a wooden toy in her room that's pretty clearly a representation of Finneon. It's in the picture for that article, so it's pretty easy to check. --Bardock 01:47, 4 November 2019 (UTC)
