Re: Relative

The original poster posted saying something, then someone else posted saying that he was wrong, my post was agreeing with the original poster, how is agreeing with the original poster not relative? I mean I can see why you deleted everything after my first post because someone misunderstood my post and I had to clarify but how is my first post which is on topic and about what the conversation is, not relative? felinoel 12:37, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

If you didn't notice, that conversation ended 4 and a half months ago. As far as the original poster is concerned, Ataro cleared it up and replied already and the discussion ended there. Along with that, the reference that you gave, was not relative to the article but rather it was a personal comment or opinion regarding a noodle, how does that help improving an article? Talk pages are for discussing how to improve an article. Please have a look at our talk page policy and kindly give it a thorough reading. It says:
Please check the dates of a discussion before you reply to it. Unless there a is good reason for revitalizing an old conversation, comments on sections older than six months old will be removed. This is because by this point the problems cited will have been cleared up.
The six months has been given here just in case if the case/dispute/issue has not been resolved till that time, which was clearly not the case here. So, please take care of it in the future, have a nice day.
Misinformation causing a discussion to end does not clear up the issue? The noodle in question was what the discussion was about, whether or not it pertains to the article well enough is not up to me to decide, the original poster obviously felt that the article would be improved with information about noodles otherwise they wouldn't have posted about it? felinoel 15:34, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
First, there is no need to edit the section title. Second, his point was not legitimate since the city's name is pronounced as "Rai-Mon / Rhy-mohn" instead. And Ramen is not pronounced as "Rahmon" and neither do people in the west pronounce ramen as "Ray-men" frequently and the so called "Misinformation" was cleared up by the end of the discussion back then. Even anime has revealed Raimon city's correct pronunciation by now, so there is not a single reason to reply to an old discussion which was not correct to begin with.
Whenever I make a discussion about something I always like to link to it in the title, I was feeling a bit lazy when I started this discussion and wanted to fix that? Anyways I never said it is pronounced mon and all I said was that everyone I know who knows nothing of anime pronounces it ray I never said the correct pronunciation was rahmon? felinoel 22:37, 1 May 2011 (UTC)
Did I ever accuse you for that? I was referring to the original poster who started the discussion as I clearly mentioned it above. Please read the discussions carefully otherwise it may create misunderstandings between the users, it will be beneficial for all of us. Thank you, have a nice day ahead.
I'm looking but I see no alleged clear referencing? Especially since you were directing your post towards me at the time. Before you say you weren't you were directing it towards the person who edited the title of the discussion which was me which is the only time you clearly referred to anyone. felinoel 03:17, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
The comments weren't helping improve the article, they were removed. Standard talk page policy. Can this discussion please be dropped now? Thanks. Jellotalk 03:25, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
k, so do I just delete comments of the same or less quality or do I post a link to it on a mod's page for them to delete? felinoel 04:23, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Inform a staff member, we'll take care of it.
From your userboxes I assume you are 'staff' so here fix this. felinoel 04:48, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
This too, wow all I did was go to the Random Page link until I found a page with anything in the talk and then checked out the talk page, the so far two out of two of these both had stuff that wouldn't help the article... how come no one is getting rid of these? One even have been on that article page for four years before someone noticed? felinoel 04:53, 2 May 2011 (UTC)
Can we go back and edit the mainspace now, please? These matters will be dealt with when we encounter them, but please save yourself some trouble and don't intentionally go looking for these. Thanks. Jellotalk 04:57, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

About BW013

Although a bit late, the errors that happened prior to the change were, Pignite shouting Tepig after Bianca commanded him to use Take Down (Bianca didn't shout Tepig). As for the Flame Charge one, you can disregard that as an error as the pronounciation was similar to Flamethrower. I got these errors after watching the episode bits three times. I hope this cleared the confusion. PattyMan 03:27, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Oh, so that's what you meant by Tepig error. Unfortunately, I and a fellow staff member double checked but we didn't find any error.
Fine by me. PattyMan 04:06, 23 May 2011 (UTC)

Just wondering

Where did these titles come from? They aren't on MSN or CN so that's why I am asking. 01:33, 31 May 2011 (UTC)

Toonzone, my alternate for CN/MSN. 8D ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 03:32, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
Ah, okay. Just checking. 03:38, 31 May 2011 (UTC)

Satoshino Hatoboh

If Satoshino Hatoboh is at Araragi's, why is it listed in the "In rotation" list of Ash's Pokémon instead of an appart.. thingy (templete?) that used to say "At Araragi's"? Just.. Wondering. :) YukitoOoO 22:41, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

Because it got tiring to change the template every week to represent whatever Pokémon he chose to have active, so we just set up all his current Pokémon as "In Rotation" as they change every so often. Also, I believe you mean "Satoshi no Hatoboh", not "Satoshino". Jo the Marten ಠ_ಠ 22:50, 4 June 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. YukitoOoO 23:01, 4 June 2011 (UTC)

Eindoak

Is the picture official? It seems very fanmade to me. --Maxim 07:19, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, it is.
I know that the artwork is official. But the text was probably added by a fan. Look, it even uses that fake Pokemon-style font. --Maxim 08:04, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
I can understand what you're trying to say. Anyway, I'll make it confirm from CP when he's awake.

:)

Oh thanks for letting me know. Just thanks. Pikatwig 08:37, 20 June 2011 (UTC)

Hey Adyniz...

...Don't mean to bug you, but I saw in the edit history that you did a really big edit yesterday here, unfortunately, I think that you might have (inadvertently, I am sure) messed up the pictures on the left-hand side of the page. I am not sure how to fix it, and I didn't want to just revert such a massive edit, so if you could find a way to fix it, that would be great. Thank you very much.

No problem, I think I know what you mean. Actually, the images are perfectly in order but the server needs to be purged i.e it needs to be refreshed. Just refresh the article once or twice, you can also click on the timer/clock on the top in order to purge the server cache. It should fix the problem. I was having the same problem i.e it was showing TR/TP header on BW023 Gym episode article. If that doesn't fix the problem either, then edit the article and preview it. While previewing it, refresh the article and all done. If you're still having some issues or have some queries then please feel free to ask :) ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 18:13, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
Nope, I did exactly what you said and it is still doing it. I have a theory about why. Did the pictures that go to the episodes on the left hand side of the page ever get renamed in the Archives? I am thinking that might be why, after I thought about it for a while, because they are off by like two episodes (i.e. the TR/TP episodes). Thanks for helping me resolve this.
Yup, I moved all the images on Archives very carefully and rechecked it, they are still in perfect order. Can you please describe the problem that you're noticing in a bit detail?
Make sure you try clearing your browser cache if purging the server cache doesn't work. The two aren't the same, and clicking the clock at the top of the page won't clear your browser cache. If it's your borwser cache causing the issue, it's also possible that it would still be an issue after several normal reloads. To clear your browser cache and reload the page, press Ctrl + F5 in Firefox. I don't remember what the commands are in other browsers, but they do have them. Werdnae (talk) 06:52, 26 June 2011 (UTC)
Tried doing what you said too, Werdnae, and it still didn't work. What I am seeing is the screenshots for the episodes are off, for example, BW023 has the screenshot for the first TR/TP episode. BW024 is correct, but then BW025 has the screenshot for BW023, and BW026 has the screenshot for BW037, and BW027 has the same screenshot as BW024, BW028 has the one from BW025, BW029 has the one from BW026, BW030 has the one from BW027, BW031 has the one from BW028, BW032 has the one from BW029, BW033 has the one from BW030, BW034 has the one from BW031, BW035 has the one from BW032, BW036 has the one from BW033, BW037 has the one from BW034, BW038 has the one from BW035, BW039 has has the one from BW036. So basically, BW023, BW025, BW026, and BW027 are all messed up, and from BW028 onwards, they have the screenshot for the episode that is 3 episodes before them. Hope that helps.
Never mind, feel free to completely ignore what I said, I feel like a freaking idiot, I had tried clearing the server cache, the browser cache, everything, I hit refresh on Firefox ONCE, and it fixes the problem. I am going to go and headdesk for a while to punish myself for my pure and unadulterated idiocy. Sorry for wasting so much of your time.
Calm down, don't kill yourself. If you're still having the issue then leave it as it is for now. It should be okay within few days i.e automatically. Don't push yourself if it isn't working, chillax :) ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 17:37, 26 June 2011 (UTC)

"Tsutarjar"?

In case you're confused, I'm asking about your edit to BW040. I followed the link you left in the summary but it led me to a 404 error page saying the file doesn't exist. So I'm wondering if that ー was a mistake... That's not how Tsutarja is spelled in Japanese.

That's because you aren't supposed to link to the images that Shellspider posts...... (I thought you realized this by now, Ady...no offense.) here is the image. Ataro 04:29, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
Oops... Then my bad. The previous title was marked as tentative on palette. Shellspider had the scan with the actual title (looked like terebii kun because of the page style, Newtype won't be released before tomorrow or 8th July). Ken, please feel free to undo it if you think it's a typo. Ataro, you need to calm down buddy.
Sorry, sorry. But seriously though, linking to the images posted on Shellspider will only lead to 404's. It's best that you save the image and put it on a hosting site before linking. Ataro 05:04, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
I'll keep that in mind for the future reference :) ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 05:11, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
Hmm... Just worried about this being another A Connoisseurer's Revenge!. May I ask where the first title came from if you know? Cause the article was created with Tsutarja spelled the correct way. So I assume there was some sort of magazine scan that showed it.
The first title came from Terebii kun but I couldn't find the scan. On the same day, Palette re-opened after 2 or 3 months and they had the same title. However, I have no idea whether it is just a typo or not.

Your pre-ordering page

First, can I put its contents on the GameStop page? I'm in the process of adding a section detailing the pre-order bonuses for Pokémon games it's done. Second, which of those pre-order bonuses were actually done by GameStop? Excluding the ones that actually mention GameStop, plus the HG/SS bonus as I do remember getting the Lugia and Ho-Oh figures from GameStop. - unsigned comment from Missingno. Master (talkcontribs) 00:05, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

Adding the section detailing the pre-order bonuses to this would be nice instead, since we need some more info for that page. After mainspacing it, we can put the link of the pre-order article in the respective GameStop's section. Also, HGSS (Lugia/HoOh) figures are already mentioned in this article. But if you have some more details regarding pre-orders and the bonuses, feel free to add to it. I would really appreciate the help :) ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 03:50, 12 July 2011 (UTC)

Dub edits or dub errors

Every other time the dub has named a move differently we have done this, the same with Mismagius's Shock wave/Thunder wave and Trubbish's Sludge bomb/Sludge, we mention the move was different in the dub and then we list it on the moves page. What makes low sweep/low kick any different ? Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 17:12, 3 September 2011 (UTC)

Then we should probably remove them from other articles as well. Snorlax used Protect in Battle Frontier and that was an error in both, the original as well as in the dub version, did we mention it? No. Also, it may not be related but there're a lot of other errors i.e we don't mention Seviper as the evolved form of Arbok, just because 4kids made a dumb error. Not trying to be rude but honestly, it's just pointless to add such kind of erroneous info. However, I'll ask Kenji when she's online. Thanks, have a nice day.
It's this one.
We have know way of distinguishing wheater Timburr's low kick is an edit or an error (but I can't imagine what the dub has agaist low sweep), Snorelax's protect is not listed on the moves page, but it is on Ash's Snorelax's page, both jump kick and Hi-jump kick were listed on their pages for Hitmonlee and Raticate when they were different in the dub and Conbusken's Flamethrower that was an error in both versions is listed, Diamond Lanturn CodeName: 05308 17:45, 3 September 2011 (UTC)
Not a legitimate reason at all. It is included in Snorlax's article in the "trivia" section only, to point out that it was an error, not in the move box and same goes for Combusken. Also, the error is already mentioned in Trip's article in "tt"s that it was referred as "Low Kick" in the dub. For Hitmonlee, that's what exactly I mentioned above about removing them from other articles. As far as Jump Kick is concerned, I haven't seen the episode myself but there's no mention of the English dub in particular.

Hey.

Got inspired by you to create an article in my userspace with opening themes in my language (though it's not created yet due to still searching themes :s). Already got 10th, 11st, 12nd (both TV and Movie version) and 13rd. Now to find rest (original series and first season of Advance Generation - this was wasn't fully dubbed T_T), So far I got 3 lines (in total, counting all themes) where I inserted <???>, due to having not much idea what they say. Marked +-+-+ 15:29, 4 October 2011 (UTC)

Good to know, it wasn't easy for me to get all the themes in Hindi either, since AG aired a few years ago and the sub-continent fans aren't much active to upload the data. Anyway, I'm almost done with mine except for the first 2 openings and some minor fixes. I talked to Buzzz regarding it, he said that we'll either mainspace it as a separate article or merge it with the global articles. So, keep up the good work :) ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 15:43, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
Thanks. I want to point out that you mispelt Battle Dimension, there is no s there (Battle Dimenion). Marked +-+-+ 19:32, 4 October 2011 (UTC)
Anytime. Oh, silly me, I'll try to fix it the next time I edit that thing.

Karita

So, uh. Where exactly does it say that her name is Karita? I'm not doubting you, just asking. Ataro 05:19, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

Uh, Ady? You may want to check this thing. Ataro 05:25, 9 October 2011 (UTC)
I am aware of it. We had a discussion over it first and then we came to this conclusion. So, no worries :) ♫♪エイディニズ♪♫ 05:32, 9 October 2011 (UTC)

Reply to your question(user skarm)

Hi, I was just testing to see if some built in wikicode I came across worked, but then I could not revert it! Sorry for that, mr.Adyniz! Skarm-Flier The Amazing! 19:08, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

No problem. For future reference, if you want to check the wikicode, click on the "show preview" button while editing, instead of saving it. It won't save your edit and you'll still be able to see how the wikicode is working. If you've any other query, please feel free to ask. Thank you, have a nice day.
