Basic Pokémon Info

I have been a fan of Pokémon for quite a while. The first Pokémon game I ever played was Pokémon Yellow, though the first one I ever owned was Silver Version. After playing a bit through Silver, I did not play Pokémon much until 2005, when I got Sapphire Version. I actually beat it twice, but then restarted my game. In 2007, I got Diamond Version the day it was released, and, about a year later, I got Pearl. And, of course, I got Platinum the day it was released, and I am quite addicted to it, now.

• Thorton

Once I took a look at this guy, I loved him instantly. I seem to have some kind of thing for snobbish looking characters, so... yeah. XD Also, without a doubt, he's my favorite character of all time (tied with someone else). I even cosplayed him at Sakura-Con 09.

• Mira

I don't know why, but she scares me... a lot. XD

• Darach

My second favorite Brain. I just find him awesome, especially in the manga.

She is a very unique age for a Pokémon character.

I'm clearly biased to the Sinnoh Brains. XD But I find her funny, and the manga got me to like her.

Pokémon I find a Bit Annoying

Most people have at least one or two Pokémon that they don't like. Here are a few I am not too fond of.

Before I get started, I just want to let you guys know that I do not want to offend anyone, and I am sorry if I do.

• Medicham, weak, has a bad movepool, and, in my opinion, is quite ugly.

• Lucario, I don't really have a problem with the Pokemon itself, so much as the fact that I'm tired of seeing this dog left and right, it is extremely overused.

• Gardevoir, same reason as Lucario.

• Weavile, annoying to fight.

Sneasel ex, this is my most recently obtained EX. And my only E-Reader EX, so far.

Exploud ex, yeah... once, I got two EX series blister packs, and I opened six boosters... this as the ONLY holo I got out of those two blisters. Oh well, at least it's still an EX. XD

Kyogre ex, kind of ironic, because, at the time, I was trying to AVOID the Crystal Guardians set in blisters, so I went for the blister with only one pack of the set... and... yeah. XD

Kingdra ex δ, my first EX ever. I've had it for so long that I didn't know it was all that rare when I got it. XD

Latios ex δ, not much to say about this one.

Absol ex, not sure what to say about this one, either.

Electivire FB LV.X (Japanese), my other favorite card ever. XD Very fond memories. I got it in one of the Beat of the Frontier packs I got at Sakura-Con 09. Also, ironically, I was cosplaying Thorton at the time. XD

Swablu, my only shiny, so far.

Reprints

Zapdos (Japanese), my second favorite card ever. Very fond memories. Not only did I get it at Sakura-Con 09, but I got it in the EXACT same pack as Electivire FB Lv. X. XD That's only possible in the Japanese packs.

Goals

I have a few goals when it comes to cards, here are a few:

• To get all of the Japanese FB cards before they are released in any other languages

• To get all of the Ralts evolution line cards (I have a Ralts line collection, even though I don't like Gardevoir or Kirlia)

• To get more holos from EX: Dragon Frontiers that AREN'T Pinser δ (I have about four of those, now)

Shiny Encounters

I have encountered several shinies over the years, however, I have only caught one.

Silver

My first ever shiny encounter. This was before I knew about shinies, so I wondered why that Ditto was blue. I beat it by mistake. I later found out about shinies, and kind of exploded. After that, I did not find any other shinies in Silver.

Sapphire

Lunatone (Couldn't find image)

This was an unfortunate encounter, because all of the Pokémon I had at the time were too high in level to fight it, so I could not catch it.

I actually encountered it when I was searching for an Absol to migrate up to my Diamond. When I encountered it, I forgot about Absol. This was the first, and so far only shiny I have caught successfully. It is currently my HM Slave on Diamond.

Diamond

Even though I have one traded from a friend, I encountered one fairly recently. However, I failed to catch it.

I had the same problem with this one as Lunatone.

Platinum

My most recent shiny encounter. I wound up chaining Magnemite, and came across a shiny one. I beat it by mistake. (Darn you, habits!)

Wanted Shinies

Because Nidoking is awesome. Enough said.

I want a green lobster! XD

No particular reason. XD

I've wanted one from the beginning.

It's never happening, though. XD

Random facts about Myself

• I generally only use male Pokémon, because I always have better luck with them than I do with females. I am not sure why.

• I prefer Pokémon from Johto and on. Even though they started the whole thing, I do not like the original 151 Pokémon, except for a few.
