I've came here from the KHWiki of SEIWA to help Bulbapedia out with information regarding X & Y. I prefer Kingdom Hearts over Pokémon, but I am still a huge fan. I am a 23-year-old Australian woman, and I've got every single Generation V game plus Pokémon X & Y. Despite what my name implies, Uxie is not my favorite Pokémon.

My current focus is to make sure that all the Pokémon with the Fairy-type has that type in the Move (if they learn them in Generation VI) and Ability articles, as well as insure that all Pokémon have their TM/HM status for Sun & Moon confirmed, then I will turn into a crystal haha, just kidding.

Pokémon focus is mainly on the games and manga, though I'll help out with the anime articles every know and then. I will often battle/trade online, and is willing to help anyone complete their Pokédex, thanks to my access to Pokémon Bank.

Based on reports of my friends at the KHWiki, my Friend Safari type is Fire. Ironic, considering Shiva was directly named after a recurring Final Fantasy summon who's associated with Ice. If you ask who Pascal was named after, the only clue I will give is that he lives in a desert town that was inspired by the same thing a certain Unova route was based on...

History

Beginnings

My first game of the franchise ever played was Blue, back in 2003 (it was a hand-me-down), though I soon got attached to the anime, though I never saw any episode from before Advance Generation. Being a dim-witted 9-year-old, I though that Blue was adapted from the anime. I've also once subscribed to a Scholastic series where they send a book every month, all anime based, but I've since donated them to a children's library.

Following the release of Kingdom Hearts II in 2006, my interests in Pokémon declined drastically.

Resurgence

Interest in Pokémon came to a complete stop as I hit the teenage years and began to think of the anime as merely a cartoon for preschoolers. But in late 2009, I decided to give Platinum a go while on a family holiday, and regained interest, which was completely sealed when I got HeartGold later on.

Since then, I've gotten every single main game that came out, and began to focus on my Pokédex in the hopes of completing it fully one day, which was finally succeeded with Y in 2014. I've also started to collect the Pokémon Adventures manga, and I've got volumes 1 - 28, so far. I've also gotten Pokémon Origins on DVD.

As for the anime, I stopped caring about it during Best Wishes, but took some interest again because of Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction being released in Australia around the same time as Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX (I got both on the same day). However, all interest in the anime declined to cynicism following the Sun and Moon series. I consider the anime as having jumped the shark since the Sinnoh League.

I went to the Pokémon: Symphonic Evolutions that was held in Adelaide, South Australia, on November 17, 2015. I've seen White—Victini and Zekrom, Kyurem vs. The Sword of Justice, Diancie and the Cocoon of Destruction, and Hoopa and the Clash of Ages at Hoyts Cinemas (Tea Tree Plaza), but I've boycotted Genesect and the Legend Awakened in responce to Mewtwo, and have chosen to forego all movies starting with Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel because I feel the anime is no longer watchable to anyone above the age of six.

I have access to Pokémon GO, and I'm on Team Instinct. I'm currently at Level 35.

Teams

Please note that these lists are of Generation VII standards, which means Pokémon with the Fairy-type will have it listed as such, even if they are of earlier generations.

White-2

X

Pascal Salem is named after the chameleon from Tangled.

Y

Shiva Clayton has her name origin come from the Hindu god, which is also used as a name for a recurring Final Fantasy summon character. The name Clayton is also Tarzan's actual surname, and a character under that name is the main antagonist of the infamous Disney adaptation.

Omega Ruby

Riku and Kairi are named after two of the Kingdom Hearts protagonists. Not only are the names direct homages, they also reflect Groudon and Kyogre, respectively.

Alpha Sapphire

Sun

Margot Pyrrha is named for Pyrrha Nikos from RWBY, who was martyred in the final episode of the third season.

Moon

You can obviously get where Sora got his name from.

Sora's Mismagius was named for Carrie Fisher, who died in December 2016. I'm a fan of Star Wars.

Ultra Sun

Xion is named after a replica from Kingdom Hearts.

Ultra Moon

If you know your history with mascots, you would know where Jak gets his name from.

Shiny Pokémon

One of my habits in the Pokémon games is collecting Shiny Pokémon, mainly through Wonder Trade. I should soon work on a box for how I got each one (note: this only applies to Pokémon I caught/hatched and events). Please note that I only collect legitimate Shiny Pokémon; no hacks.

Pokémon caught in Ultra Space are also excluded because of their high chance ratio, unless said Pokémon is Legendary or an Ultra Beast.
