In Generation II, the player can decorate their bedroom using the PC there. These decorations can only be placed in fixed positions or put away entirely. Only the ornaments can be placed in more than one position, on either the left or right side of the table in the bedroom. In Pokémon Stadium 2, players can view their bedroom in 3D with the My Room feature. If any console but the Virtual Boy is set out when viewing My Room, screenshots from several games for that system (such as The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64) will be shown on the television screen.
Most decorations can be acquired by using Mystery Gift, but a few can be acquired by other methods, such as a gift from the player's Mom when she's saved up enough of the player's money.
