| | The dark lord trombonator (trom) is a former Editor-in-Chief of Bulbanews (2011–12) and former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Bulbapedia (2010–2012). Since leaving Bulbagarden he found fame as a television presenter and author, although he currently works for the New Zealand government. Quite seriously, many of the skills he uses in his daily life came from the nearly four years he spent as a regular contributor to this website. To anyone looking to follow in his footsteps, he strongly advises against this and suggests they consider a more relaxing and less time-consuming hobby, such as breeding giant pandas, proving the Riemann hypothesis, or working for the New Zealand government. |

| | I apologise in advance for the misleading section title. At this stage of my life, I don't have a lot to do with the various Pokémon media. I don't watch the anime (hell, it doesn't even air here on free TV); I don't read the manga or play the TCG. I do have {{v2|Diamond}} and {{v2|FireRed}}, though, so I guess that counts for something, even if the games are rather unplayed at the moment. I'm avidly awaiting the New Zealand release of HeartGold and SoulSilver, though I'm not sure which one I want to get yet.
